We went to East Park as part of a Costco deal. We had a good time, water slides for my oldest and a splash pad for my little. "They didn't have many and the bullet and caterpillar are the only good ones" -mr 9 The splash pad was good but if that's all your going for I would just go to one of the free city ones. The iced cream wasn't too bad but we had to cut our eating time short because of the bees. No ones fault but still a pain. I also found it was a pain picking up the tickets because of the loud sounds inside the building. I couldn't wait to get out. I really like East Park, it's a bit overpriced (hence the 4 stars) but otherwise it's a lot of fun. Water Park: Awesome. The slides are great! Although the water is ICE COLD, it's quite refreshing on a really hot day. It offers water fun for kids (and grown ups) of all ages. The splash pad area is great for the little ones and it has one of those cool dumping buckets that are kid magnets. The change rooms always smell like pee unfortunately, you;re better off using the stalls out by the carpet slides if you don't need to use a washroom. Mini Golf: I love minigolf and East Park offers fun themed holes and is a great change from the place on Adelaide I usually go. The minigolf has two options, one with wooden edges around each hole and one without (like real golf). The one without edges is usually less busy and better for teens/adults. Batting Cages: I'm fairly certain these are the only ones in London. The last time I was there the "softball" ones were both very slow (even the hard option) so my friend and I were using the expert hardball games to practice our swings. We brought our own bats and helmets because their bats aren't high quality and I always question the cleanliness of shared helmets. Rock Climbing: I hate heights so I hate rock climbing. I did the team building exercises here in 2009 and the person running them was fantastic. They were supportive and really motivated our group to complete the challenge. I would like to preface this by stating that this is a review of IntenCity only. I recently took two 12 year-olds here for what I thought would be an afternoon of fun. They did run around the jungle gym for a bit, but soon tired of that, so we decided to try out some of the arcade games and win some tickets to redeem for trinkets. We were disappointed by the state of disrepair of many of them and of the ones that were working, many of them failed to dispense any tickets. The bumper cars, as noisy as they are, were the highlight of the trip and my young charges had the staff re-setting the track several times in a row. There was a time when this was one of two places in the whole city to go rock climbing and their wall is mediocre at best. It is not very big and tends to get crowded when occupied by more than two groups. Now that Junction is open in East London, it is a much better option. This place could be great if they could find the funds to maintain or upgrade their equipment. read more

We came here on a cold fall day, so we weren't here for the water park or anything but decided to come for the arcade and the Go-Karts. The arcade was terrible. Half the machines were out of order and even the ones that weren't kept eating our coins, and we'd have to go and ask for assistance. The staff was busy working on something, and they seemed bothered when we had to ask for help. The place was outdated and didn't feel very clean. The Go-Karts were somewhat fun. They were really bumpy, and after a while, I was just thinking, "is this over yet?". They weren't very comfortable but I suppose Go-Karts aren't meant to be. Maybe the Waterpark part of this place is better but for the arcade and Go-Karts, I'd say spend your money elsewhere.. read more

If you have a child with disabilities, this is NOT the park to be at. First off, not a single slide for a child in a wheelchair to access, very disappointing! My son is 13 and has issues with mobility & couldn't really enjoy much. The splash pad was cement, therefore he couldn't scoot around because he would cut his legs and hands. The wave pool is cement as well & cut the top of his toe, and we had to pay $5.60 to rent a tube, complete BS! There were NO change tables that he could fit on, and the change rooms were disgusting. For the amount of money this place brings in, hire a few more cleaners, crate some more jobs. If it wasn't a free day through my work, I would have got a refund. Never going back there again, EVER! read more

I have been to East Park dozens of times since I myself was a kid and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad time here. The one thing I will mention off the hop is that the park has been around for almost 50 years and some areas would benefit from being refreshed a little more often. There have been times when the mini golf or arcade in particular seemed a little worse for wear. On the plus side, there is a LOT to do there. Over and above the aforementioned mini golf, there is a standard golf course, waterslides, batting cages, go-karts, climbing wall, driving range and even summer day camps are offered. There's no question is can make for an expensive day for a family, but it doesn't have to be if you plan accordingly. They often have specials and offer packages that can make it at least slightly more affordable. While anecdotally I've heard some complain about the golf course, I actually think it is well laid out and maintained - but only issues over the years have only been that it's been a bit overcrowded on a few occasions. It's not the city's most well maintained course or its most challenging - but offers a good day of golf at a reasonable price. I have not, for a variety of reasons, tried the go-karts of water park lately but I can assure you that my boys absolutely love them. The club house is nice and the back patio offers a great view of a green that makes it a perfect place for a meal or snack when whether permits. While the menu is limited - the food is pretty good and not overly expensive. Things hot dogs and french fries and the sort. If you're looking for a way to have some fun with the kids you could certainly do worse than East Park. In fact, its one of my boys favourite places in the city. We don't go too often - but its always a great time when we do. read more

Great mature golf course but very small. Food is ok, beer is cold. Key advantage: kids use the water slides, mini golf, go carts, batting cages while you play a round. Win win! read more

Decided to take the kids out for a fun afternoon and decided to head to East park. Water slides and splash pad are way overpriced so decided to do some laps on the go karts. Had a great time on these until the last few laps. We were in a double car as my little guy is not big enough to drive his own. We were driving along and his steering wheel fell off exposing sharp edges. So we pull back over at the end at let the attendant know and he then says ya it happens from time to time. Not an answer I was looking for. We then decided we were going to play some mini golf. Chose the course with the walls because it's easier for the kids. But man have they ever let that course fall apart. I remeber it being good when I was younger. But it's just garbage now. There has been no upkeep and things are falling apart. Might go back for some go karting again but will definitely go elsewhere to play some mini golf. read more

It's quite pricey . The Water is ICE COLD. AND I MEAN ICE COLD and I hear it's like that all year every day . the line ups are long and for the little kids they don't have much to offer. Great for kids 7 and up I guess . Everyone of the lifeguard kids are snobby and rude and clearly didn't wanna be there . We had a good day but the fun wore off quickly .they should really.invest in some smaller slides for the were kids and a WATER HEATER. for the price if admission they should atleast warm the water read more

If you're looking for a championship course this is not your course. This is a good course. It is short and not too hard but I've never found it to be in bad shape. This course is in a family entertainment complex so there will be novice players and kids. I play this course many times a year and always find it enjoyable. read more
