    Blue course

I love calling East Potomac my home course. It's convenient to reach if you're coming from VA, PGC, or downtown DC; they have plenty of tee times available; the clubhouse has great food; and they have three putting greens and a driving range with Toptracer technology. East Potomac has a course for everyone no matter their skill level or time commitment. They offer a 9-hole Par 3 (Red course), 9-hole (White course), and a 18-hole (Blue course) course that are all enjoyable to play and are manageable for even beginners to play. The pace of play is usually good, but on a nice day you might run into a bit of a delay (worst I've seen is about 10-15min behind). The greens and tee boxes aren't always in the best condition, but they're maintained fairly well on all three courses that it won't throw off your game. For the cost of play, it's hard to beat the value you get from playing at East Potomac. ALSO, I always forgot that they have a newly renovated mini golf course if you're looking for something a little more lighthearted to play.

PUT PUT WAS RECENTLY RENOVATED !! Adorable course overlooking the water and sky, easily able to rsvp online and a fun casual time. Nothing spectacular about the course but it's clean and in a fabulous location. You feel like you're getting to escape the city and all the hustle bustle. Fair pricing and fun to see families / couples / friends all playing!

I am beginner golfer. This is a great course for beginners. Course is pretty straight with very few hazards. Hardly any bunkers and water hazards. It's a great place to learn. Since it's a links course, even if you miss your fairway and slice or hook 70 yards, you still find and play your ball. They have ball cleaners in most of the holes. Not very well maintained though. I wish they could fill it with cleaner water. They also have drinking water in a couple of holes. Pro shop is nice. Restaurant is decent too. Gets the job done. This is my go to course in DC. It's cheaper than the other courses.

This review is for the mini golf ~ my fam and I had a great time at this recently revamped place! Staff was friendly and the weather (high 50s in mid-March) was perfect. A few of the holes have some cool features which adds to the experience. Good time all around and parking was easy!

We came Memorial Day weekend 2025 and it's the best shape I've ever seen the miniature golf course in. We had a blast! I learned that a non profit paid to redo the course and it shows, thank you

Fun day at the mini golf course nice service and fun with friends for only 15 dollars. Easy to get to at east Potomac park. Course has some nice holes that are dc themed.

This is a great place to hone your skills. I am new to golf, but my boyfriend has been playing for over 20 years and we both enjoy using this range. It is covered, and heated for use in the winter and fall. The technology is accurate in the measurement of the shots. The putting green is well maintained. The pro shop is well stocked. For a public course in an urban area this is a great value. Highly recommended for the range and putting green. The course is not appealing.

I haven't been out to the golf course since they added tracer tech to the driving range. What's weird is some of the lower bays are right hand golfers only because of the position they installed the screens. They have heat for the winter too. The new management has clearly put some money to upgrading the putting greens, tee boxes, course maintenance and driving range. I'm glad to see this at the DC Course with the best on Course views in the city. I look forward to returning.

We had the greatest time at the recently updated mini golf course! We are from California but travel to DC often for business. Always looking for different things to see and do , so I went on Atlas Obscura and found out about his historic mini golf course. We had so much fun, played among so many other friendly customers and just had the most delightful time . I highly recommend!!

We played Saturday late afternoon on the Blue Course and completed 18 in about 4:45 so the rumors of 7 hours rounds were not at all accurate.

How to lose a customer of 15-20 years…read more For almost 20 years, Fleet Feet, both in DC and more recently in Asheville, North Carolina, has been where I shop for sneakers twice a year. To save on wear, I buy 2-3 pairs at a time (costing about $400-600 a visit depending on number, socks and arch supports, etc.) and rotate wearing them throughout the week. Today I brought this pair of Brooks back to DC to ask what could be done. I've probably worn them at most 15 days since buying them in mid-last month; the soles are delaminating. An annoyingly passive sales clerk began dancing around the question offering nothing. I eventually abbreviated his babble about normal wear and tear by observing that it doesn't sound like the store can do anything as just over 30 days have passed since the purchase of several pairs. No exchange, no assistance with the manufacturer, no suggestions for repair? I observed that this doesn't seem like normal wear and that its disappointing to see how quickly these expensive shoes are coming apart and how little can be done. His only response was a dismissive "Have a nice day" delivered in a mocking tone. I turned and left the store quietly for the last time in my life without punching him and without responding. some suggestions for better customer service: When your store has a no refund or exchange strict policy, even in the face of defective goods, you should at least provide your customer with contact information to reach out to the manufacturer. If you work in a shoe store, it might be good to be aware of shoe repair places, or glues that might be tried, or to confirm that there are really no glue solutions that could be tried. In other words, know your products and offer some modicum of assistance, even if it's not likely to answer the customer's immediate request. Don't be snide when you are denying service to someone who has been a regular customer and who has clearly brought in a shoe that is not behaving as it should. Not sure where I'll send my $1200/year in purchases now. But I will find a place to remove that revenue from Fleet Feet, and I will let people know of my experience there.

Before making the trek over here, my friends and I looked online to see if there were whistles to be had any where near where we were. We weren't having much luck until this popped up. We made our way over here and into the store. Trying to figure out where whistles would be in a sporting goods store is not fun. Every single sport they represent could be a possibility of that location. We wondered up and down aisles in hopes that they might be with the soccer gear, no luck. Basketball gear? Nope. Hidden in the back corner of the store? Why of course... We see the whistles, grab our twenty and head to the register. The guy ringing us up must of thought why are we buying so many. Then when the total came up, something wasn't adding up. Even with simple math it wasn't correct. Then we noticed that the amount per whistle is not what was listed on the many pegs we just cleared back there. We let the guy know that each peg we pulled from was a price less than what was in the system. He got on his walkie and had a back and forth with another employee who persisted that the price it is ringing up is the price. We protested, as we (four of us) all told him the price is not as marked on the peg. They were hoping that we wouldn't care much, but one of my friends went to the back corner to meet the associate and point out where we grabbed the whistles from. Once she did that, they honored the priced from the numerous pegs. Crazy situation, but when you buy twenty of something, the price difference definitely stands out.

The Birthday Get‑Together To celebrate my uncle's 63rd birthday, the family decided on the perfect trio: drinks, food, and golf swings that could either impress or injure. The lanes were set, family members started rolling in, and the energy was exactly what a birthday get‑together should feel like. A waitress arrived -- friendly, patient, and weaving through our group like she had trained for a family reunion obstacle course. When she got to me, I ordered a White Russian. She gave me a look... a look I should've paid attention to. But I missed the warning. The White Russian Catastrophe She returned with drinks, and everyone else lit up with smiles. I took my sip...and immediately felt betrayed by the beverage gods. This wasn't a White Russian. This was cold brew with an identity crisis. The bartender must've dumped half the bottle of coffee liqueur in there. It tasted like someone tried to make a cocktail using instructions they found on a crumpled napkin. Easily the worst White Russian I've ever had. ‍‍ Women vs. Men: The Golf Showdown We split the lanes: women on one side, men on the other. Women's Lane Supportive. Fun. Encouraging. The kind of environment where you hear:"Nice swing!""You're doing great!""Try again, you got it!" Men's Lane Started friendly. Then evolved into competitive trash‑talking warfare. At some point, it felt like we were fighting for honor, bragging rights, and possibly the last wing on the platter. Every swing came with commentary. Every miss came with jokes. Every win came with a victory lap. The Food: The Redemption In between the trash‑talk battles, the food arrived: Two Farway Feast Platters Smash burgers Wings Fries Everything was hot, tasty, and exactly what you want during family chaos. The food was so good it made me forget about the White Russian tragedy. Almost. The Birthday Champion The birthday guy -- turning 63 -- won every single game.Didn't matter who he played. He dominated the lanes like he had been training all year. Final Verdict Topgolf delivered: Great service Great food Great family fun One White Russian that should be studied by scientists I'll definitely be returning -- and next time, I'm bringing a better golf swing... and ordering anything except a White Russian.
