I love my Pathfinder, but I am SO disappointed in both this dealership, and Nissan's regional…read morecustomer service. STILL waiting on a call back from regional after the dealer gouged me on a diagnostic, diagnosed the WRONG part (saying I would need to pay $1700 to fix it), and claimed my warranty was expired (I have 15,000 miles and a year and a half left on a bumper to bumper warranty). I wound up having to go air my pathfinder to a local mechanic to get the correct element fixed, and I WILL be demanding they cover the repair. It's unfortunate that this is our only option for Nissan in the northwoods. They're obviously scammers.

This would have been my second purchase from this new dealership, however sales management and F&I…read morewere incompetent. My sales guy Butch was excellent. It was a Friday afternoon and I was only in town for the weekend. I decided on the vehicle and about 3pm. I specifically said I would only be financing thru Ripco and said they would be closing at 430pm so we need to get this done while they were open. The Sales Manager did give me the "numbers" for 45 minutes. I agreed on them and Butch have my info to the F&I person. He specifically told him that I was financing thru Ripco and to get the ball rolling on this asap. F&I did not contact Ripco until 5pm after they had already closed (I heard him try to call them on speaker phone). I again said only Ripco, but then on Saturday morning F&I called me and said he "got me approved" ( credit score is not an issue here) from a different back and a ridiculously high interest rate. They lost they deal because they made me wait around and lolly gagged playing the game of we will wait till good credit union is closed so we can push him into a loan at a bank where we get a commission. This isn't acceptable customer service. I feel bad that Butch lost the deal because his management likes to play games. If you are going to purchase I vehicle here I would recommend Butch for your salesman but arrange your own financing ahead of time and don't let the dealership do it. Additionally, I did have to have so service done on my existing vehicle and Service Advisor Katie was excellent!!!

Not only did they get me in the next day I arrived before the shop even opened. Prepared to wait in my car for 15 min till they opened I was surprised when they immediately got me in. This shop goes above and beyond to take care of people! The staff was pleasant and made sure I was comfortable and had some fresh coffee while I waited. Then in no time they had me off and on my way to work. I just can't say enough about the staff and quality of service from this business. They come highly recommended not just the service department but sales as well.

Brought my car in for a 65,000 mile service. After about 10 minute working on the car, I was told…read morethey were unable to remove the tire because the wheel locks were on too tight (it was blamed on the Toyota dealer in Chicago, I do not do my own maintenance). I was told everything was ok, and left. 4000 miles later, I was charge by the Toyota dealer in Chicago $260 to replace and install the new tire locks. Rhinelander Toyota had "totally barbequed" them (this is what I was told by the Chicago dealership). In addition, I would have been UNABLE to replace the tire if it got flat, and I could have been stranded far away in northern Wisconsin. Rhinelander Toyota refused to take responsibility (I wanted to be reimbursed $260) initally, then offered $60. I simply want my $260 but they are being rude and disrespectful. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. This is why people think corporations are stacked against them. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The next day, July 11, we received a call saying there was a small crack in the windshield and they asked if we had noticed it before. This was an odd question as prior to doing the tire rotation, oil change, and installing the roof rack, they did an inspection and noted no damage on the exterior of the car.  We were surprised about the crack as the car had been in a secure garage for the previous 10 months while we were deployed overseas. The staff said they would investigate and called prior to closing and it was decided we would pick up the car on Wednesday, July 12. On July 12, the staff showed us the crack and we immediately knew that it was new since it was about 8 inches in length and directly in the driver's field of vision.  We also noticed that the crack terminated at the windshield molding where there was a very noticeable dent.  To us, it appeared that the dent was likely made by a tool or some sort which likely hit the molding and also cracked the windshield.  The service manager posited that it could have been made by debris from the storm the previous evening when the car was outside, though no other cars appeared to have any such damage and there was no debris on the ground suggesting as such. They said she checked with the mechanic and they assured them that they were very careful during the installation of the roof rack and did not remember anything specific happening that could have caused it. To the service manager's credit, they took responsibility for the windshield and had it replaced on July 17. However the matter of the damaged windshield frame remains.  Our insurance company estimates the cost of the damage to be $264.77 - that cost may not include removing and re-installing the roof rack in order to replace it.  I reached out to the dealership manager and the Kocourek VP with the text above and have not received any response. Not sure if they are trying to cut costs or corners, but their service definitely gives one pause.

The mechanic found a mouse nest in the air filter (it happens in the northland), so the service technician came over to ask me if I wanted to buy another air filter. I said no and asked him to just remove the nest and use a shop vacuumed to it (2 minute fix). Rather than accept my reply and agree to such a simple fix, he said he'd have to charge me for half an hour service to do so. What?! So I went back to see for myself and ask the mechanic to remove the nest. I asked the mechanic if I could borrow their shop vacuumed and he assured me he'd take care of it, then glared at the service tech in disgust. I had also asked for a tire rotation when I arrived since it had been 50k miles since I bought new tires from them. Come to find out, they charged me to rotate them. What?! I won't be back.
