He's consistently respectful and polite, always greeting customers with "Yes, ma'am" and "No, ma'am." That level of courtesy really stands out these days! I have the Clean Pass, so I visit both the Lacey and Yelm locations regularly. Since I no longer work in Lacey, it was such a pleasant surprise to see Jake at the Yelm location. I have been using this carwash because it is close to my home, and when I can get it to let me…read morethrough the kiosk, I think it does a great job. Kind of spendy, but I am old and I just have to deal with that. What really gets to me is that the kiosk card reader is apparently installed upside down and backwards, or something. Definitely not your normal reader. Cars line up and wait impatiently while the customers fight with the blasted machine. It is so screwed up that the kiosk has additional instructions taped to the screen so that normal people can try to figure out why you have to put your card in backwards and upside down. Talking to the workers only gets you "It works fine if you read the instructions". That is not the answer you expect to get when you repeatedly use this carwash and have to try and try and try to get the stubborn machine to accept your card, while four or five cars back up behind you and get impatient. It makes a normally technically capable person feel like an idiot!! Management needs to get the message! I imagine that they are losing business because customers don't want to have to fight a card reader from the inside of their car. It is difficult to get out and work with this kiosk as even the passenger is restricted by the adjacent machine. To make matters worse, when you get so frustrated with the POS, you can't even get out of the lock up. The barrier bar in front of you and the stack of cars behind you shuts down any means to leave. It seems like a fight to the death. I am sure that one of these days a customer will just crash the barrier bar and leave, just out of total frustration. I'm giving this business one more chance to fix this stupid card reader so that it works the way every other card ready does or I will quit using their service. The choice is theirs!

I had to stop in for gas and was truly ticked off! The Main gas reader board said $5.09 (Still too…read moreexpensive) so I prepaid in cash and pumped my gas. When I was done the gas pump read that I paid $5.29 per gallon!!! I took a picture of the reader board and the pump then went back into the store. The employer told me he doesn't know how to figure out the amount of money owed to me. So I went back out to see how many gallons was put into my Jeep and returned to the store to let the employee know how much the store owes me (Math is not really that hard for me). He then got upset and said he knows how to do math but he can't do anything about it. I told him I'm not getting ripped off especially with how high the prices are and again he said he won't do anything about it. I told him if the gas pumps are charging 20 cents more than I wonder how much profit they made at the cost of unsuspecting customers. I know that the entire West Hills Auto Plex uses that gas station and that's a lot of money coming through. He again said he won't do anything because he doesn't want his til to be off. I left my name and number but no phone call as of yet and no money back either!!! I truly wonder how long this gas station has been doing this as the employee seemed to have knowledge of it, he wasn't surprised at all. I know 20 cents more per gallon doesn't seem like much at all but with all the vehicle traffic it adds up to a nice profit for them!
