Received a coupon for a free wash from a local dealership. My Jeep was dirty, so I decided to…read moreredeem my coupon today. I did not use the vacuum machines, I went direct into the car wash line. I was greeted by an employee who took my coupon, I also upgraded the package so I could receive a towel dry once the wash was done. There are two employees on either side of the vehicles who scrub the front and rear of the vehicles with a soapy brush. My rear view mirrors were folded in by the employees before I entered the car wash area. The force of one of the spin brushes opened the passenger rear view mirror while I was going thru the car wash. It did not do any damage. Plenty of soap/water and a quick air dry on the way out. Once I excited, I pulled into an open parking spot where my vehicle was hand dried by two employees. I like to keep my vehicles clean, if I'm in the area and need a wash I'd stop here again.

Took so many calls and days later spoke to someone. They just apologized for the "GLITCH" out of the BREMERTON car wash. This card used was for a vacation coming up and now I had to cancel the card to prevent additional charges. Messages on voicemail, no call back. Finally 3rd call got a person. Website, joke too. People that work there, just give you a phone number. Pretty sad, that now I can't keep my car washed there anymore because I don't want my cards charged fees without my permission.

Third time's a charm, right? At that stall, none of the options on the dial like "pre-soak" and "bubble brush" seemed to match up with what they did. I spent a while trying to figure out what was what, and I did manage to get my car nice and soapy, but none of the options on the dial seemed to spit out non-soapy water, so I had to rinse my wife's car with a hose at home.

Kind of spendy, but I am old and I just have to deal with that. What really gets to me is that the kiosk card reader is apparently installed upside down and backwards, or something. Definitely not your normal reader. Cars line up and wait impatiently while the customers fight with the blasted machine. It is so screwed up that the kiosk has additional instructions taped to the screen so that normal people can try to figure out why you have to put your card in backwards and upside down. Talking to the workers only gets you "It works fine if you read the instructions". That is not the answer you expect to get when you repeatedly use this carwash and have to try and try and try to get the stubborn machine to accept your card, while four or five cars back up behind you and get impatient. It makes a normally technically capable person feel like an idiot!! Management needs to get the message! I imagine that they are losing business because customers don't want to have to fight a card reader from the inside of their car. It is difficult to get out and work with this kiosk as even the passenger is restricted by the adjacent machine. To make matters worse, when you get so frustrated with the POS, you can't even get out of the lock up. The barrier bar in front of you and the stack of cars behind you shuts down any means to leave. It seems like a fight to the death. I am sure that one of these days a customer will just crash the barrier bar and leave, just out of total frustration. I'm giving this business one more chance to fix this stupid card reader so that it works the way every other card ready does or I will quit using their service. The choice is theirs!
