Overall, the office staff was friendly, and the care I received was fine. I had a cleaning and a molar crown put in. The cleaning was as good as anywhere else. The crown was okay. Not super thrilled with the quality (after a few months, it still doesn't feel "natural" like some of the better crowns I've had), but functionally it gets the job done. My big gripe here is with their billing and their inability or willingness to hold themselves accountable for unacceptable billing practices. They gave me a "good faith estimate" on my crown that I paid up front, having already had all of my insurance information, but apparently quoted me as though I were in-network when they knew I was not (their words). I agreed to the work thinking it would cost around $900. (Paid in advance of service.) A few weeks after my crown, I got a bill for over $800. Turns out I was NOT in-network. When I discovered this and confronted the office manager with the information, I just received excuses: "it's not our fault you didn't know you were out-of-network", "we only gave you an estimate", "we made no mistakes", etc. Clearly mistakes were made. I was billed nearly double what they said it would cost when I agreed to the service and they refused to take any accountability. I would obviously have shopped around before agreeing to almost double that initial quote if I had known in advance it would be that expensive. After my initial discussion with the office manager, I was told she would call back about my proposed resolution. I've called back twice since, and have not been able to get ahold of her. This has ultimately led to me filing a complaint with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. Will update this review with a resolution. read more

What a great experience! I never write reviews but I feel this was warranted. Back story, I am very nervous about going to the dentist and haven't been in years. From the moment I walked in, the front desk person was super helpful and very cheerful. I didn't have to wait long at all. I'm just sad I can't remember everyone's names. The hygienist was so very nice and really made me feel comfortable. I shake a little and she didn't make me feel weird about it at all. She had great conversations, which took my mind off being nervous and it helped so much. Also she was super knowledgeable and explained everything each step of the way in depth. I also really loved the doctor. He Just had an ease about him and explained everything with no judgement. And Answered all my questions. I even thought the girls as I was checking out were super friendly and seemed actually happy to be at their job. Nowadays that's very rare. Again overall awesome experience. not a review I take joy in posting. I always had good experiences here and have no issues with the actual work performed. My issue is with the refund that I still do not have after over a month. I needed an extraction and was offered an optional bone graft and asked if I wanted to prepay which I did with my Visa on December 4th. post extraction on December 8th it was determined the graft would not be needed or possible. I inquired about refunding my card and was told it would have to be done by check. Follow up Visit on December 15th was told check was on the way from December 11th.When I still had no check I called December 26th and left a message, no callback. i called December 29th, was told they would check and call back. No callback.December 30th I disputed with Visa as of course I already had to pay the $570 as it was processed nearly a month earlier.still no callback, I called on January 5th and was told another check had been sent.Today is January 10th, over a month since I should have been refunded, and you guessed it, still waiting. I know things happen and am not looking for perfection but my calls were NEVER returned. Most don't find the dentist a pleasant experience and I really had good experiences until this point, but obviously I cannot recommend them and encourage anyone else NOT to prepay if they do go here. read more

I finally went to the dentist post-pandemic, and everyone there was so kind and non-judgmental about my lengthy delay. I had to have a root canal and crown put in on a bottom molar. It was my first time with either of these procedures. I was so nervous! But the doctor was a total pro and did an incredible job. Honestly, between the numbing shot and the gas, I barely felt any discomfort. The hardest part was keeping my jaw in position that long. Healing time was about a week before I could chew on that side, but well worth the wait. I'm pain free for the first time in a long time, and now it's my best looking tooth! Lots of transparency about cost as well, which I deeply appreciate. This will definitely be my new regular spot! read more

Went into Dr Hadley's office for an evaluation for a cleaning. I had been treated at their office previously for a deep cleaning on one half of my mouth. I completed the right side with no sedation or gas and there were no issues. Dr Hadley came in and I let him know immediately that I hate being at the dentist due to major dental anxiety. He stated he understood and he would do his best to make the visit easy. We were both smiling about it at that point. He reviewed my X-rays and told me that I had to be sedated to do a deep clean. I asked why since that was not done last time. He said for it to be done effectively and for my comfort level AND THEIRS, I need to be sedated. He said that there was still scaling left over from last time they did the work and that they didn't know because it could only be seen on the X-ray they took today. He further stated - you are going to have a really bad experience anywhere you go without sedation. (Great for my dental anxiety) I said sedation sounds expensive he said "oh yes, it's very expensive but its less expensive than your teeth falling out." He said that I would be out of pocket 3-4K. I said that wasn't in my price range. I also stated that I am not comfortable with sedation for a deep cleaning. He then said - we want to help you. I started to get up to leave stating that it will probably take me a while to save. I told him I was currently having discomfort. He stated again, "well I really want you to have this work done -again it's going to cost more if your teeth fall out". I stated once more that I could not currently afford that. IHe then asked, CAN YOU SELL SOMETHING? I walked out and went to check out at the front desk, in shock and now in paralyzing anxiety that all my teeth would fall out if I did not get this cleaning. I was told my record would. be forwarded if I need them.I asked to have them emailed while I waited. Dr Hadley came to the front and asked me (in front of the desk staff) to please accept his sincerest apologies. He did not charge for the visit (which insurance would have covered anyway) I told him that I couldn't. believe he asked me to sell something - that is so inappropriate. I asked him why he didnt talk to me about a payment plan (payment options) if you really want me to get the help I need (OR refer me to someone who does do them if your motive is for me to be well. I had no prior knowledge that the office does not do a payment plan for something that expensive) He replied "I don't do payment plans. I'm not a bank". Then he said, "we don't take medicaid, we aren't a charity". He then began to scream at me at the front desk. He said I was the rudest person who had ever come in his office because I said 'I hate you' when he walked in to examine me. He screamed that I hurt his feelings WHAT I ACTUALLY SAID WAS - I HATE BEING AT THE DENTIST. He said the no one has ever said that to him. He said that I was rude to the front desk staff. They did not agree them. At this point I was. in tears. I left feeling humiliated. I'm sure he will try and somehow blame me for his inexcusable words in his response. Dr Hadley's words today were both sickly unethical, inappropriate and fear provoking. Stay far away. read more

Very deficient front desk service and absence of any other person responsible to take decisions. My appointment (10/25/2023 at 3:00 pm), which was scheduled a month before, was canceled due to apparent staff problems. I received a call only a day before (10/24/2023 at 9:23 am) to re-schedule the appointment for 10/25/2023 at 11:00 am, time that was in conflict with my own working schedule. Other possible options would be on first quarter 2024. After a conversation of about 10 min with Nicole (front desk receptionist), she was unable to give me a time estimate for a potential availability in the coming weeks. Under this uncertainty scenario, during the same call, I confirmed to Nicole that I will attend to the office on 10/25/2023 at 11:00 am. When I arrived to East Side Smiles on 10/25/2023 at 11:08 am, I was informed that they filled the spot with another patient! I made a great effort to attend this new appointment, which represented an unexpected and sudden transference of my own clinical duties to a different physician. When at East Side Smiles, I tried to set a complain to a supervisor, office manager, or office owner, nobody was ready for this purpose, not even when I explained that I could wait for their availability. It is highly disrespectful not to be available when a patient, especially one who is also a physician, has a legitimate complaint about poor front desk service or general office management. As a fellow healthcare professional, I understand the importance of efficient and respectful patient care. Ignoring my concerns not only dismisses a valid feedback but also disregards the basic principles of patient-centered care and professionalism. It erodes trust in the healthcare provider and the entire practice, reflecting a lack of empathy and customer service. Every patient, regardless of their profession, deserves to be heard and treated with respect and consideration. read more

Fast forward 9 months down the road and I have had a couple of consultations that has resulted in a beautiful new cap (faux tooth) to replace the garish one that was completed nearly a decade ago from a dentist in St.Louis. Throughout the process, Dr. Hadley and his FABULOUS staff have made the dreaded trip to visit the dentist a truly fun, inspiring, and affordable experience. With the exception of having weird contraptions in or around my mouth, I sometime forget that I am at the dentist. No joke. The office is absolutely beautiful with recent renovations that include a new wing of procedure rooms too. With a location that in near Five Points, it is super convenient for East Siders or anyone who can hop right off the highway too. I have referred many friends to visit as they have noticed my regained confidence during the process of making my smile the best that it can be at East Side Smiles. read more

Is it sad that my appointment was two days ago and I am still talking to my fiancé about how much I love this office? Probably! But I don't care. The office staff is so friendly and Kim, who did my x-rays, is thorough and patient, giving me a heads up on what to expect throughout my entire first appointment. I started going to East Side Smiles a few years ago and initially was overall pleased with the service. The ladies at the front were always kind and welcomed you with a smile and Dr. Hadley is a hoot! I recommended 4 additional patients who enjoy coming to this office just as much as I do. Hear lately it's been so hard to get an appt. Yesterday my husband's filling came out and I called in hopes of at least being seen within the next week, nope. They would not be able to see him until October. Unfortunately, we just don't have the patience to continue to be a patient here full time. I'll likely keep this office as a back up. , it makes me sad. The office is top notch, latest technology, super cool layout and decor. Dr. Hadley is a very good dentist (I hate dentists and have had some horrible ones). He and his team are very professional and welcoming, and the office is very nice and clean (exactly what you would want in a dentist office. When I called after having excruciating pain for the past week, they worked with the schedule and were able to get me in the same day to be examined. I had never had a root canal before and needed to have 3! So many people told me stories about how horrible it was, how their crown mold (after waiting weeks for it to be made) didn't fit, where they'd have to then wait another week or more for the mold to be remade. Then, they complained that they were having residual pain years after the procure. My experience was not like this. Dr. Hadley's work was impeccable. The root canal itself was not as bad as I had expected. I appreciated how Dr. Hadley would explain to me what he was doing, and would let me know if there were any changes to the plan before proceeding forward. Not only did Dr. Hadley FIT ME FOR MY MOLD, but he also MADE THE CROWN MOLD, and IMPLANTED THE CROWN MOLD ensuring a perfect fit ALL ON THE SAME DAY IN ONE APPOINTMENT! It was perfect. The third crown was a little more painful than the others, so he callee me personally a few days later to make sure I wasn't having any problems. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY TEETH/CROWNS SINCE HAVING THREE ROOT CANALS. I have no pain and no problems eating. Dr. Hadley is an amazing dentist. I recommend him to anyone who ever tells me they're having tooth problems. So, I recommend that you all check him out! read more

This was my second visit to East Side Smiles. Now I remember why I told myself I wouldn't come back the first time. I'll start with some background: I have a number of unconventional fixtures in my mouth. It's unfortunate, but I was born without several teeth. On the bottom, I have two baby teeth that have (fortunately) never fallen out. They're secured to the surrounding teeth by a titanium rod and some plastic bonding. I've had this for 15 years of my life. About once a year, like clockwork, this fixture breaks. And every year, I find a dentist, and they fix it by cleaning the surrounding area and re-securing the tooth to the metal bar. It's not a complicated procedure. I've done it many, many times. Usually takes about an hour. Not today. The technician was very friendly and took an X-ray and some photos and told me to wait for the doctor. Dr. Stolarz, within seconds, tells me there's very little she can do. We need to work up a full plan. We'll have to start by removing those teeth. Then we'll mold a flipper so I can temporarily have teeth. Then I'll need a bone graft. Then a periodontist. Then I'll have to get implants. Then they'll mold some new teeth for the implants. Now let me be clear: this is nothing I haven't heard before. I know this is the best course of action, and the best long term solution to my problem. But if I had the $35,000 to do this, I probably wouldn't have come into the office to ask for the quickest and cheapest possible solution. Rather than help me, Dr. Stolarz refused to do the same quick fix that so many other dentists have performed for me over the past 15 years, instead opting to recommend an extremely expensive fix. I am very disappointed in East Side Smiles, and Dr. Stolarz in particular. I firmly asked if I could get out of the chair and leave. I paid my bill, and did just that. (At least I got to take home the X-ray, so that some other dentist can help me.) [EDIT: since I can't give zero stars, I'll give them one star for cleanliness and quality of equipment. I wouldn't recommend East Side Smiles unless you have dental insurance. The staff for the most part were fine. I loved the technician who helped me during my consultation, and Dr. Hadley seems like a very sweet man. But, there were some sticky moments. I was made particularly uncomfortable while getting a filling, when the dentist and technician were gossiping about a former staff member and humble-bragging about their high ratings on their Facebook page while working on my molars. East Side Smiles is probably great for specialty work, kids, and nervous patients, but for regular cleanings and the occasional filling I just can't see how the high prices are worth it. Their routine procedures are expensive, the decor and swag were heavy on gloss, and they don't take AmEx- a pet peeve of mine when businesses are clearly making a high profit margin. The perks of a hip young staff and free chapstick and pens just aren't worth it if you don't have dental insurance. read more

Thankfully, he's also one of the most skilled in the nation too and his state-of-the-art office has more teeth-fixing gadgets and gizmos than any other in Middle Tennessee. Upon arrival, the staff greets you like you like an old pal, albeit one who also happens to know quite a bit about your medical history and insurance information, but a pal all the same. Holy moley denistry!!!! This place rocks the casbah! I had two visits within a week of each other. First was an emergency visit due to a molar breaking off and the second visit was the nightmare "fix it" appointment... I was pleasantly greeted and seen promptly both times. I knew my first visit was going to be bad and by bad I knew I would be back again within the next week to dare I say it...GET A ROOT CANAL/CROWN!!! The verdict came in and I was sent on my way with a temporary until my appointment for the dreaded root canal the next week. (I've never had one and have only heard horror stories/nightmares about them) Fast forward a week. The temporary stayed in:) I was not looking forward to this ol' rooty root canal and I had reservations some kind of serious. I let Dr. Hadley know how I was feeling and he assured me it was gonna be all good after we some fellowship about the whole ordeal. I was in his care/chair from 8:30am-11:30am. The root canal was tiring and exaushting, but Dr. Hadley made it the best he could for me considering the procedure. I got a couple breaks to walk around the office and that was nice. We killed 2 birds with one stone and I got a filling put in another tooth as well. It was a long morning to say the least, but I made it through with Dr. Hadley's care and epic sing-a-long/music choice from Tears for Fears to Hall n Oates. I found myself "head over heels" for my new dentist and his incredible friendly and warm staff of ladies and "out of touch" with that broken molar that was now a shiny new crown jewel of a tooth!!!! Whats the most amazing part of this story? Well Im glad you asked...I was sore for most of the day after the root canal and got a prescription for pain meds. I only had to take 2 pains pills that day and woke up the next morning without any pain!!! It's been a wonderful recovery since and I can't stress how happy I am with East Side Smiles!!!! This may be the NASA headquarters of dentistry! I became a new patient here after my dentist of three years suddenly closed his business. I chose Eastside Smiles, firstly because it is convenient to where I live and secondly because of good Yelp reviews. The dentist saw that on my paper work and even acknowledged that they live and die by customer reviews-- it shows he cares what his clients think. When I arrived for my first visit I was guided through a variety if high-tech X-rays and photos. This office has top of the line equipment for sure! The dentist was running a bit behind and through casual talk the hygienist found out I was going back to work after my appointment and made several efforts to make sure I wasn't late, even though the dentist was a bit behind. She seemed very intuitive and respectful of my time, which was nice. When the dentist greeted me with a ton of energy ( maybe too much for 7am, lol). He spent the first few minutes minutes getting to know who I was as a person and built personal rapport. He also took the time to show me exactly what his concerns were on the X-rays and photos and point out where things looked great too. This is, by far, one of the best exams I have had. I felt that the team went above and beyond any exam I've had in the past. They only con was they do not schedule time for a cleaning the same day as the exam. I didn't know this until I arrived. The hygienist offered a cleaning opening the same day but it required me to wait an hour after my exam, time which I didn't have. I scheduled cleaning for a different day, which is fine, though would have been more convenient for it to immediately follow exam. I highly recommend Eastside Smiles. read more

I was really excited to see East Side Smiles when we moved to East Nashville in August, but today I got a chance to try them out. The building is architecturally cool on the outside and has nice ambience on the inside. There is lots of natural light, a single cup coffee and tea maker in the waiting room and an open lay out. Very nice. I only had to wait a few minutes before being called back. Since I am a new patient I got a series of x-rays done. I feel like Rip Van Winkle, having fallen asleep with the dental technology of the past and having woken up in a way cooler future. I stood in a CT scanner and got my whole head scanned in 3D which I was able to view with the Dr. Hadley on a TV screen facing the exam chair. Then I got to view the more detailed x-rays of smaller sections of my mouth on the same screen. As if that wasn't cool enough, Dr. Hadley looked at my teeth with a little video camera that allowed him to see my teeth close up. Oh, and gone are the cheesy posters and crappy oil paintings mounted on the ceiling above the chair. Here they have flat screen TVs and handed me a remote. Nothing like a little Today show on my day off. The true test of a dentist is what they say about my teeth. I was lucky to inherit my dad's really strong teeth and I have never had a cavity. If I see a dentist that starts running off a list of things I need to fix, I know something is fishy. Dr. Hadley and his staff all said right off the bat that they noticed I had never had a cavity and that my teeth looked great. Dr. Hadley was personable and friendly. Very nice and clearly communicated his observations. The hygienists who worked with me were very nice. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did a good job of balancing giving me a nice clean without destroying my mouth. Overall they were very thorough, clearly on the cutting edge of dental technology, pleasant, friendly and I left with nice clean teeth. They have definitely become our family dentist. I have been Amanda Alyea's patient since she was in school training to be my hygienist for LIFE! That's how I came to know and love East Side Smiles. And God bless them for accepting me as a patient. I'm definitely a challenge. Dr. Hadley is the only dentist I've seen so I can only review based on my experiences with him. He is knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy. There are plenty of reviews about how wonderful Dr. Hadley is. Once you visit, you'll see that for yourself. I wanted to write a review focused on the customer service I experienced with regard to a sore jaw after cavity fillings. Turns out it's completely normal, but being that I'd never had a cavity filled before I didn't know that. I called the office and spoke with someone briefly about my issue. I was told that Dr. Hadley would be told about it and would call me back around lunchtime. Not even 30 minutes later, I received a call from one of the assistants and they explained everything to me. I have never in my life received a call back from a doctor or a dentist so quickly! I've been to East Side Smiles twice now and each visit gets better and better. I'm a major dentalphobe so the fact that I don't dread going to the dentist is really saying something. Another bonus: they give you a written estimate of the cost of your dental work. I like Dr. Hadley so much that I pay out of network fees from my dental insurance company, so the estimated cost is something I find to be very handy for budgeting. read more

This is an update to my recent review of East Side Smiles. The only reason that I give a second star instead of just one is because I do believe that Dr. Hadley is a knowledgeable dentist and knows what he is doing. He is also friendly while you're in the room together...braggy but friendly. Unfortunately I feel that the good about the business stops there. Since my last review, I have been harassed by this office about taking down my prior review of 3 stars. When I say harrassed, I mean text messages and phone calls from the office manager. I was told that my review was not only hurting Dr. Hadley's business but also his family. That's kind of a ridiculous statement, in my opinion. Don't believe me? I took it upon myself to screen shot the texts and save the voicemails. My last review was 3 stars (which means A-OK in yelp standards) because of long wait times for an appointment and not handling insurance paperwork properly. I will give them credit for trying to work us into a quicker appointment BUT this was only after giving them this review. I practically begged for a sooner appointment with an on-going procedure earlier in the year because I was pregnant and by the time they were going to see me I would be late in my third trimester and very uncomfortable. They told me sorry and there was nothing they could do besides put me on a cancellation list. Little did I know that all I had to do was give them an "okay" rating and they would have moved people around for me. As far as paperwork went I had to get involved and make this happen myself. My insurance paperwork was never submitted! One of the texts I received stated they wanted me to remove my review because they saved me so much money. Um...no. I saved me money. They gave me an estimate on what services would cost and wanted me to pay the estimate up front. I don't work like that. I want to know what services will cost me beforehand with no surprises later. I will gladly pay more if that's what is needed. Sure enough they estimated higher than what I would've owed. No other office has asked this of me. I find this recent harassment to be completely unprofessional. You just don't bribe or harrass a patient of yours to give you a 5 star review. Dr. Hadley has a big problem with constructive criticism. One of the reasons I sought out this office was I knew Dr. Hadley reads his reviews and it appeared that if there was an issue that he would try to make things right. Little did I know that was IF you gave him 5 stars only. I take my reviews as a yelp elite seriously. I want to know the pros and cons of a business, which is why I try to leave thorough and honest reviews. I will not be bribed, harrassed or made to feel bad into changing my reviews. Management and Dr. Hadley have made me feel so uncomfortable that we have since cancelled all of our appointments and have taken our family of 5 (now 6) elsewhere. read more

If you want to be forced into getting X-rays and not having the option of not getting X-rays, this is the place for you. I felt totally disrespected in the two times I went there. The first was when the dentist totally dismissed my position on mercury toxicity as it relates to having fillings removed, the second was today when they refused to clean my teeth if I didn't have X-rays. As a health coach, I am an educated patient, and should have able to get my teeth cleaned without having to pay for X-rays. Unreal. I moved here from Chicago where i used the Dental Salon (read my review on them- i may actually continue to use them as my dentist even though i now live in Nashville. not only are they ALL incredible dentists but Dr. Morris, the founder, gets the BUSINESS side of things. I digress.) My first two experiences with ESS were great. nothing more, nothing less. my teeth got cleaned, i was in and out in a timely fashion and their location is convenient for the East side. My most recent appointment was at 12:50 on a Friday afternoon. I finish work at noon on Fridays so i decided to go straight there. I arrived around 12:20. The receptionist was friendly and we chatted a bit. around 12:45 I asked how the Dr. was running? She said there were two patients back there but I would be seen on time. At 12:50 I checked in and she said maybe another 10 or 15 minutes. I waited until 1:05 and left. To her credit, during that waiting period, the receptionist did ask if I wanted to reschedule. No. i want to have the appointment that i originally scheduled. Buh Bye. There are plenty of other dentists. read more

They deserve all 5 stars. I had an overwhelming fear of the dentist, and they will put you at ease! I have some crowns and major work coming up, and I appreciate that they gave me a full list of the work I needed and the costs (including what my insurance would pay, and what I would need to pay). I'll be coming back for all my dental needs. read more

I love East Side Smiles for all the reasons you should love your dentist! I've seen two hygenists there and they were both great. They explained everything, made me feel comfortable and answered my questions. The same goes for Dr. Hadley. Very friendly and answered my many,many questions about a cracked tooth. (The good news is that we'll just keep watching it and treat it if it begins to be a problem.) Dr. Hadley also replaced an old filling for me a few months ago and was awesome about dealing with my fear of having my mouth numbed. (I know. Most people are afraid of pain when they have their teeth filled. I'm afraid of having my mouth numb. I'm weird.) The front desk staff is friendly and she was very helpful when I had to reschedule an appointment. I love the decor in the office and that they took a kind of ugly little old house in the 'hood and renovated it. Great improvement! I love having a dentist that's easy to get to in East Nashville, convenient to my office downtown, and parking's not a problem. See you guys again in six months! read more

Dr. Hadley might be the nicest, most enthusiastic dentist I've ever met. Seriously, this is a man who loves his job. He is devoted to his patients in a way that is seldom paralleled. Not only this, but he does fantastic work, especially in the cosmetic dentistry department. I know this because I've damaged two of my front teeth and you can't even tell! I had the misfortune of fracturing a tooth on a Friday afternoon. I called the office but they were about to close. Not wanting me to go the entire weekend in pain, Dr. Hadley and his staff CAME IN ON SATURDAY MORNING AFTER RUNNING THE TOMATOFEST 5K to see me. They sat me down, and, in running shorts, performed a root canal. Bonus! Dr. Handley sang along to Katy Perry while he was performing the root canal. If this doesn't convince you to go to East Side Smiles, I don't know what will. read more

This place is awesome. They have amazing equipment and best of all there was no pain in getting my teeth cleaned and I consider myself a baby when it comes to the dentist. There are tvs to watch while you get work done and they take a ton of pictures so you can see the results and they explain everything you see so there are no lingering questions. read more

I used to receive good dental care here but I won't be going back. Never have I been treated so rudely or with disrespect resolving an issue, even though I've worked in several healthcare environments. After having a conversation about my charges and being handed an outline of them at my last visit, I then received a bill for additional charges. Six months later and multiple requests to talk to the office administration to resolve the issue of the extra charges resulted in no returned calls and incredibly rude encounters with the office staff. If you're looking for a practice who will treat you with respect and honesty, look elsewhere. read more

I just came from the dentist earlier this morning. This was my first time coming here. I set up an appointment over the phone and got an appointment earlier than I thought possible. There was practically no waiting. I barely got to sit down before they called me back. Everyone there was really nice. I do plan on going back in the future and would recommend them to anyone. read more

My husband and I decided today that we will no longer go to East Side Smiles. I have been a loyal customer for years and this past year, there have been 3 incidents that have made it hard to turn a blind eye. First, they cancelled an appointment 15 minutes before over voicemail. However, I didn't find out until I walked in. The voicemail had not even hit my phone yet. Second, I needed something done and they couldn't "fit me in" for 3 weeks so I had to go elsewhere. And finally, today I had an emergency and this time, they couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks. I again will have to go elsewhere to get it fixed in a timely manner. Whatever happened to being a neighborhood dentist that takes care of you? read more
