Do not go here they gave me a root canal without my consent and told me I owned 800 dollars I cried at the front desk saying I was never told that please tell me where I signed off on that front desk lady was so rude! They still to this day will not provided any signed documents or anything stating a root canal! They will steal your money here!!! read more

I did not have a good experience here. The dentist laughed and brushed me off when I asked how healthy and safe root canals are. The hygienist said one word to me the entire time I was with her- "hey". Not friendly and no bedside manner. Was also so rough I had to stop her mid floss and even said she was too rough. My boyfriend also got a cavity filled here, was still in pain after the cavity because he needed it to be filed more, and they charged him. I will not be going back here. Also if you can't walk up a hill I wouldn't recommend coming here. Thankfully I had gotten off my crutches from hip surgery by the time my visit came but I wouldn't have made it on time otherwise. read more

Please do not go if you aren't in network; the costs associated with my care were not communicated well with me. I visited (while in pain) to discuss severe, continuous pain in my jaw after dental work I received here and didn't leave with a clear answer about what was wrong. Dr. Hall seemed reluctant to say the phrase TMJ or injury and suggested I had been clenching my jaw. Then, she sent back the front desk staff to discuss my evolving balance (I'd already paid $800 for my 4 fillings). They told me I owed $500 more, and that I needed to get imaging for a bite guard ($400) although I believed my pain was potentially due to the procedure I'd had. When I was crying about these unexpected costs and my pain, the staff pressured me to sign up with Sunbit for a payment plan before I left the building. I was also coerced into sitting for imaging for a bite guard I stated clearly that I didn't want to get. I was crying and in pain, so I gave up on my "no." Shame on me for going to a dentist out of network, but I did not have good experiences here. Dental care is healthcare, so I didn't think I would need to be such an advocate for myself. I respect that others have had great experiences here but that wasn't the case for me. read more

I loved the part where they lied about the condition of my teeth and tried to force me into getting three crowns on teeth that didn't need them, told me I had a raging infection in a perfectly healthy tooth, and tried to ruin my life for a profit. However, if you have teeth that are fine and would like to have two of them removed just so they can force you to get bone grafts and spend a year with bridges so the grafts can heal and they can give you implants, this is the place to go. They'll also give out all of your HIPAA protected information to unauthorized individuals, berate and belittle you, and delay treatment just to satisfy their urge for a power trip. 0/10. I used to genuinely hate going to the dentist, but Katherine Hall is a different story. The whole experience, from the friendly receptionists to the absolutely wonderful dental hygienists (I always have Sarah!) to Dr. Hall herself has changed my perspective on going to the dentist. My teeth are now in much better shape, not only because they do such a great job there, but because the friendly, comfortable atmosphere encourages repeat visits. The dental hygienist was AMAZING! I haven't been to the dentist in a long time and was very nervous. She treated me with the utmost respect and care. The other assistants and the dentist are a little bit of a different story. I had questions about what I wanted for my teeth, insurance, and cost. They were very snooty when it came to my questions. The dentist spent a total of 5 minutes talking to me and called a cap I received when I was a child a "tin can". I am young and this is my first dentist experience without my mother. My questions were not answered and there was no care shown to help me find the answers to my questions. They said I needed to figure it out on my own. With dental work being expensive, I just wanted to get a good idea on what I can expect for cost. Instead they just pushed me to schedule my procedures now. If you have questions that you need answered and you are wanting to discuss cost expectations without being judged, do not go here. They will make you feel bad. read more

Dr. Hall was such a delight for someone with dental anxiety! As a new client, she was very warm and talked me through each step she did. She let me hold a cute stress ball in the shape of a horse and let me have frequent breaks. I was never shamed for my anxiety/phobia, which made me feel much more at ease. Dr. Hall has a great team supporting her, from reception to assistants to hygienists. I was wow-ed by how pleasant going to the dentist can be! I made my next appointment already! read more

I originally chose to go to Dr. Hall because I worked downtown and her office was just a hop and a skip away. Scheduling an appointment was very easy, and they were able to see me sooner than I expected. I was surprised to find that her office was above Puckett's on Church, but there is actually a whole office building nestled above the restaurant. Her office is cozy and clean, and it doesn't feel sterile and cold like many medical facilities do. All of the staff in Dr. Hall's office are extremely friendly. I never have to wait long to get in. The hygienist, Wendy, is so bubbly and instantly makes you feel comfortable. If you need X-Rays, she talks you through the process and completes them as quickly as possible. My teeth always feel squeaky-clean when she's done. They don't shame you or scold you about flossing or brushing more more, they just offer advice on how to build good dental hygiene habits. Dr. Hall is easily the most laid-back, approachable dentist I've ever met. She's always smiling and speaks so clearly and calmly. When she recommended that I have my wisdom teeth out, it was a very low-pressure suggestion, and she was happy to refer me to an excellent oral surgeon. Even though I no longer work downtown, I still gladly make the trip to Dr. Hall's office. I actually look forward to my appointments because they have created such a comfortable environment for their patients. I would recommend Dr. Hall to anyone, especially those who have anxiety about visiting the dentist. read more

I have not gone to the dentist for an embarrassingly long time, and I chose Dr. Hall's practice because of the amazing reviews online. I had very high expectations simply because of all the wonderful things I had heard about this practice. My experience absolutely lived up to my expectations: the office was very beautiful and professional looking, and the staff was all extremely friendly, from the receptionists to the hygienists and Dr. Hall herself. Everyone was extremely thorough, and I could not have asked for a better dentists appointment! I am usually very skeptical about dentists overcharging or suggesting unnecessary procedures, but I know Dr. Hall is genuinely invested in my dental health, and I was never under the impression that I should get a second opinion. I got to say something nobody usually gets to say today: "I had the BEST dentist appointment!" Going to the dentist is usually an anxiety ridden task (scary/pointy metal tools) but Dr. Hall and her staff were so friendly and it made you feel like you were hanging out with friends instead of being at the dentist. The wait was short to be seen, and Dr. Hall met with me right away to discuss any concerns. Wendy did my cleaning and she was so fun and friendly and made the time pass really quickly. I'm not typically one to get anxiety from going to a dentist, but I hadn't been to a dentist since I moved to Nashville and new dentists can be scary. I read TONS of reviews for multiple dentists and finally settled on Dr. Hall, as she some really amazing reviews. Not one single negative review and after visiting her office today I understand why. This dental practice is amazing, from Kari the guest service coordinator to Dawn who cleaned my teeth to Dr. Hall and her entire staff were simply exceptional and it was a great first dentist experience in a new city. Finding her office was a little tricky since I didn't do any research on that, they do have a parking garage with complimentary parking where they validate your parking slip, and you have to go the the elevators and the fourth floor in the McCloud building next to Puckett's. I called the office and Kari walked me through everything. One of Dr. Halls patients brought her flowers for doing some dental work while I was there and then I overheard a patient in the waiting room saying he had known Dr. Hall his entire life and wouldn't go anywhere else. I went ahead and made my next appointment and I'm very excited for my next visit back! read more

I recently had a very poor initial dentist experience since moving to Nashville. I went to Katherine Hall for a 2nd opinion. She reassured me that my gut instinct was correct. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I will be back for years to come for my dental care. The only downside is her parking situation. The parking garage would not be easily accessible for those with disabilities or for elderly individuals. It was difficult to find for my first appointment, but will be easier for future appointments. Front desk staff is very readily accessible via email, which is convenient! read more

Outstanding dental practice! I first met Dr Hall when I was needing a crown for a back tooth. I had lots of trouble with the temporary crown- she was very patient and helped me get through it. She knows I had bad dental experiences as a child and is sensitive to it. I have been seeing her for 10 years and have never been disappointed. Staff are courteous and well-trained. You never have to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room for your appoint. They will cover the cost of parking the car in the garage and also have reserved places in the garage for their patients. Prior to Dr Hall, I didn't go to a dentist regularly (because I had so many fears about drills, etc... All from my childhood experiences.) However, I now go at least every 6 months. If there is such thing as a "cool" dentist, Katherine Hall is it. I needed a dentist close to where I work downtown, and her small practice fit the bill. From the first phone call, her staff was very prompt, professional and welcoming. However, if you are as cavity-prone as I, you know that the actual office visit can be a real kicker. I was pleasantly surprised at the non-guilt-inducing low pressure approach they took. Yes, cavities. No, you don't have to fill ALL of them tomorrow. Here's what we recommend...etc. etc. In addition to her prerequisite dentist smarts, Katherine is an absolute doll and fun to talk to. The office itself is small and comfortable and in a historic building downtown- not flashy with TVs and the like, but that is not especially important to me.
