His team was incredibly nice, efficient, and knowledgeable - they even offered to pick me up from the airport when I came for my first appointment and gave me restaurant/hotel recommendations (I flew into Nashville for his services)! He was able to conduct my consult virtually and made me feel at ease in every part of the process. I came to him because I had a huge insecurity about my two front teeth which had old veneers that were too large and discolored compared to the rest of my surrounding teeth in different lighting. I was disappointed in the care I received. The assistant and dentist were both aloof, heavy handed and uncaring. Rude, to be honest, as they literally talked about me during the procedure as if they didn't care I could hear them. I thought this high-priced practice would be more attentive and interested in the care of their patients. The office staff also dropped the ball on insurance and two months later just discovered it was never submitted as promised. My crown is fine to date, but I feel I have had good crowns from much more caring and supportive professionals at more reasonable prices. read more

I had thought of not returning to this Amazing Drs office ever again....sitting in waiting room. Then ... I had the very BEST experience with Andrea (Dr N - Hygienist). Who enjoys going to the dentist? We can agree not many and for most individuals going to or even the thought about the dentist often brings on anxiety or fear. Oral health is important and routine check-ups are essential in maintaining overall health that is the reason I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Nabors. There are a few things I expect from a dentist office-professionalism, office presentation & etiquette, cleanliness, discuss costs upfront (I don't like surprises), knowledgable & willingness to answer any questions I may ask, up-to-date technology, and how the make their patients comfortable. I called Dr. Nabors office to schedule an appointment & spoke with Kellye, who was pleasant & friendly. I was given an appointment for the next day. Kellye was able to send the new patient forms, directions to the office, & valet parking instructions by email. When I arrived check-in was quick and easy. The wait room was set up nicely with office photo albums, magazines, educational materials, & complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, and bottled water. I waited approximately 10 minutes before being introduced to Andrea, the Dental Hygienist, who escorted me back to the clinic area. Andrea began by giving me a tour of the state of the art clinic. I have never had a tour before & to my surprise the clinic was immaculate. My 90 minute visit consisted of a consultation, examination, pictures & x-rays, & a basic cleaning. I enjoyed television throughout the process with earbuds available if preferred. Andrea constantly asked if I was comfortable and needed anything such as; a blanket or water. During my cleaning I enjoyed a paraffin wax treatment for my hands. It was so relaxing. Andrea was knowledgeable and explained everything before and during the process. When everything was complete Dr. Nabors introduced himself, reviewed my x-rays & offered his recommendations to relieve my tooth sensitivity. Other than that; no additional problems, concerns, & I am still cavity free. I was pleased with my cleaning results and overall experience that I decided to schedule my six month check up. After calling all of the local dentists for a crown and possible molar root canal. I transferred all of my information and insurance from another dentist that couldn't do the work on time. I took the morning off work only to discover that Thomas Nabors dentist said that he would have to refer me to a specialist if I needed the root canal. The very reason I was there. So they basically could not do the job they said that they could do. So not only did they waste a morning off work for me, they wasted the only available window I had for four weeks. They were polite, clean and nice when I was there, so I can't give them one star, but attention to detail would have been nice. read more

After I broke a tooth on the weekend, I called on Monday as a new patient and got in right away early Tuesday. Dr. Nabors carefully explained all my options, including retaining what is still a very strong tooth (cracked by a previous dentist's poorly crafted upper onlay). His office is able to mill onlays *on site* using a computerized scan of your teeth! The onlay repair was perfect. I am extremely pleased with his staff, the work, and his demeanor and willingness to discuss details of the options with me. read more

Best dentist's office ever. I've been to more than a few dentists, lived in quite a few cities across the country, am not great about taking care of my teeth, usually don't have dental insurance, and have never had a lot of money. Got a big beard but never get mistaken for a hipster, if you know what I'm saying. Nevertheless, Dr. Nabors and his terrific staff treat me like I'm Johnny Cash and Henry Ford reincarnated when I visit their office. (Dr. Nabors is a gearhead at heart and would spend all day talking cars if his staff didn't keep him in line). So even though we're not rockstars or tv stars like all those who have signed photos or guitars on display in the office, we sure are treated well. I can and have just walked into the office in the middle of a random day to change an appointment for my wife and didn't need to give either of our names. I just can't say enough about this great office. They offer all kinds of procedures and will give you a dental plan that describes everything available from basic to cosmetic, but NEVER push you into anything beyond your budget or try to upsell you. The office and equipment are spotless and modern and it feels more like a spa than a dentist. When was the last time you looked forward to going to the dentist? Or felt great leaving the dentist? Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. Dana helped me on the phone and genuinely seemed to care about me having a good dental experience. I really didn't think people were capable of actually caring about menial nonsense like scheduling doctor's appointments, and I absolutely hate going to the dentist, but overall this was really solid. At least solid enough that I'm taking the time to write this review. Erin was my hygienist and she was super friendly the whole way through. It's weird cause you don't picture yourself being 25 years old and getting stoked about having a conversation with your hygienist, but she was a good hang and the whole cleaning just kind of flew by. Dr. Nabors himself was cool too, really seemed to care and treat the people around him with respect. I'd definitely recommend this place, the prices are fair and the staff is nice. read more

I know it's shameful, but I went over 10 years without going to the dentist. I didn't have any problems(or dental insurance) so I just didn't feel the need. Well...turns out I had 4 cavities :/ In the past, I dreaded dentist visits. Dr. Nabors has such a gentle touch, not even the needle hurt! And it was affordable enough that I could pay with cash. If I had known that going to the dentist didn't have to be scary I would've gone years ago. Now I'm in every 6 months for a cleaning like a good little girl and everything is great!! Andrea is my hygienist and she is gentle as well. I'm a big baby and she deals with the weird faces I make. She also whitens my teeth and they look sparkly and stay white for months after!! The office staff is always friendly and accommodating. Love this place!! read more

Going to the Dental office used to be a stressful experience filled with a lot anxiouity. I always assumed that this was how it was supposed to be, until I visited Dr. Nabors office. From the front door, to the chair and all the way through the experience. I have never been made to feel more comfortable. So much so, that I literally travel from Losa Angeles to see Dr. Nabors and his Staff. Tosha, my hygienist is always so informative and friendly, it just makes it nice to be here. Hip office. Paraffin hand wax treatment if you choose- cool. When I called to make my appointment, they told me they accepted my insurance, only to have them tell me towards the end of the appt that they "accept" all insurance, but they're only in network with one kind of insurance. Tricky tricky. My fault for not double checking on my end I guess. My bill was almost $800 for an upgraded teeth cleaning that they recommended. The Hygienist also recommended that I buy a water pick through them and didn't look or act thrilled when I told her I'd find it on Amazon. Unfortunately, I cannot suggest this place. read more

Dr. Nabors and his staff are absolutely wonderful! It can be scary getting work done at the dentist but I truly feel at ease and comfortable with Dr. Nabors and his staff. I had some cosmetic work done recently and Hailey did a fabulous job with my whitening and Dr. Nabors explained everything he was doing throughout the procedure and I barely felt anything. I doubt you could ever find a better dentist. Dr. Nabors has fixed problems created by other dentists (and my neglect) with a very professional team that are caring and highly competent. I went to this office for a cleaning and ask specifically if my insurance was accept, they told me yes. I even asked 3 different girls in the office at different times during my visit and was told yes, 100%. The dental assistant suggested and upgrade in my cleaning that would cost $30, and I asked her what my total out of pocket cost would be for the cleaning. She said $30 because my insurance covers 100% of the cleaning. I was specifically told $30 by her and then I received a bill in the mail for an additional $90. So when I called to question someone in the office told me that my cleaning was covered at 100% but only up to a certain amount and this office charges so much more for a basic cleaning that the whole cleaning was not covered. Either I was lied to by the office staff or they never bothered to check my insurance. This is a rip off and no way to do business.... read more

The other day I was biting into a mary jane candy without a care in the world. Then I realized I chipped my tooth !!!! No, this couldn't be happening to me ! Not the day before my trip to Nashville ! I called my dentist and the receptionist informed me she is not there and it would have to wait till I came back home. I thought I was doomed. After, arriving in Nashville I went on yelp and found this dentists office. I called them and I was scheduled within an hour to come in and have this checked out ! The dentist checked out my tooth and fixed what needed to be done. Luckily it was a very slight chip nothing to serious. I walked out of this office in the greatest mood and ready to enjoy my Nashville visit. Everyone here is so nice and incredibly friendly. They even took me on a tour and showed me the office. They have huge flat screen tv's, blankets, and hand massages while you are having your dental work done. They do crowns and all the same day inside the office. They have there lab right there. Very convenient ! I found there price to fix my tooth completely reasonable. I wish I lived closer ! read more

I was NOT satisfied with the look of the veneers Dr. Nabors put on my teeth. After much research, I then made the drive to a Lexington, KY cosmetic dentist with an onsite ceramist for a consultation. However, if you can't make the drive, I was told by a respected dentist that Dr. Dennis Wells of Nashville Aesthetic Dentistry does beautiful work. He does a lot of the upcoming country music singers and Dolly Parton endorses him. Check out his website- I wish I had at the onset of this nightmare. Dr. Nabor's ceramist is in California. For me, it made a big difference having the ceramist onsite with the dentist, personally looking at my teeth, listening to my concerns, and working alongside the dentist to make my veneers. I now feel that my veneers are beautiful, but still natural. When I would talk to Dr. Nabors before his veneers were made, I felt that he understood what I wanted, but then when they came back and he cemented the veneers, they would not look like we discussed. Also, the temporary veneers do not look like the permanent ones. I actually liked the temporaries he made. As a side note, I would try to avoid prepping healthy teeth if possible, but if you do, have whatever cosmetic dentist you choose show you exactly how much tooth structure is going to be taken off so you go into it with open eyes. I was told by Dr. Nabors and his assistant that mine were going to be "roughed up a bit so the veneers would stick" and that's what bugged me the most- that not only was the front scraped, but that my teeth had significant gaps in between them and looked like stubs. I almost cried when I saw them, but at that point it was done. I was told by another dentist that they were over prepped and almost looked like crowns. I will give this dentist 2 stars because he is probably a good general dentist. read more

I have always dreaded going to any type of dental appointment but I actually leave my appointments with Dr. Nabors in a good mood! You get to watch any channel of television with personal headphones, and are offered a paraffin hand wax and blanket. Like a spa! Highly recommend.
