The final price was so reasonable and literally 1/4 of the cost compared to what some other places in the area I had called were going to charge me!! Her compassion, kindness, and empathy are unmatched. She took the time to listen, offered multiple treatment options, and, most importantly, gave me real solutions instead of just telling me to "learn to live with it." Dr. Cohen has a calming presence that almost feels like she has healing powers. I know that sounds wild, but believe me, she somehow does. End of story and suggested maybe I was in the wrong place. "It doesn't sound like you want hearing aids". I was a newbie, scared and confused and she was condescending and hostile. I asked about a custom mold and she said she wouldn't do it. Basically she wanted me to just accept it out of the box. When I tried on a demo, the background sounds were overwhelming. She offered me no assurance they could be adjusted. In fact, she told me basically deal with it or don't get the hearing aids. Same thing when I heard my own voice booming in my ear with a time delay. Take it or leave it. Didn't offer me the option of uploading a music program to address that (which i found out online existed). I could not have had a worse experience. I am taking my money and going to an audiologist. Here's why you should NOT use Union Audiology…read more I went for a hearing test in the summer. The equipment they used was straight out of the 1970s. Seriously so old and crappy. Doctor told me I had 30% hearing loss and need hearing aids. Okay. They billed my insurance for the full cost. Mind you, I never got hearing aids or was even fitted. But they billed my insurance for over $6000. They got the money and never once called me or returned any of my calls. Then they billed my insurance for another $6000. Why? This time it was rejected. Meanwhile, I still haven't heard from them even though they have my insurance money. They NEVER returned any of my calls so I could not get fitted for my hearing aids that they were already paid for. After 4 months of leaving tons of unreturned messages, they finally answered the phone. I asked what's happening and why they are keeping my money and not giving me my hearing aids or even calling me back? Their receptionist tells me I'm being rude and I need to apologize to her. WHAT?!?! I ask why they haven't returned any of my calls even though they've been paid thousands by my insurance company. She claims she returned all of my calls and left messages (a total lie). When I press her for the number she's been calling, she gives me a wrong phone number (off by one digit from mine) that she's been supposedly leaving messages for me. Total BS. ALSO...my correct phone number is RIGHT ON my intake form and was left on all of my messages. They are totally scamming and keeping my insurance money. I alerted my insurance company who also tried to get them to return the thousands of dollars they took from them. Guess what, the insurance adjuster says they won't return his calls either. A major fraud case is now being opened by my insurance company. In the mean time, I still don't have hearing aids. I cannot get them anywhere else because Union Audiology billed my insurance, took all of the money and now won't return it. I may lose out on my deductible benefits for the year and I cannot hear very well. Do not trust this company. My insurance company is preparing to file a fraud claim against them while I'm still disabled with no way to get hearing aids...that Union Audiology was paid thousands of dollars for and won't return. Do not use this company. You've been warned.

This is likely because they want to pressure the parent or guardian to write a 5 star review and they know the likelihood of both parents being there they can't and also ----No siblings allowed They try to navigate you to write a 5 star review and will guide you what to write . They mistreat you and get upset when you refuse to write a good review for them . They need it written inside of their office. This doctor only cares about his jewelry on his hands and billing the insurance high for things he barely did. I feel sorry for the girls working here having to put up with this man forcing them to abide by his crooked rules.

Unfortunately, the most disappointing part was the doctor's tone and attitude. When I tried to explain my symptoms and timeline, he repeatedly interrupted me and dismissed my explanation, even accusing me of being wrong about when my symptoms began. As a doctor, having empathy, patience, and understanding is essential--especially when dealing with patients in pain. I left the appointment feeling unheard, rushed, unresolved, and honestly taken advantage of given the amount I paid. To clarify, I did not personally schedule the appointment, a family member did, as I was in significant ear pain at the time. My family member was aware of the pricing before scheduling. That said, I take responsibility for not reading reviews beforehand and assuming the experience would be positive since the doctor advertises himself as an expert in tinnitus. I am giving one star solely because the front desk staff were kind and professional.
