She took the time to listen, offered multiple treatment options, and, most importantly, gave me real solutions instead of just telling me to "learn to live with it." Dr. Cohen has a calming presence that almost feels like she has healing powers. I know that sounds wild, but believe me, she somehow does. I also want to mention that the front office staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will be recommending Dr. Cohen to all of my friends and family without hesitation. When I tried to explain my symptoms and timeline, he repeatedly interrupted me and dismissed my explanation, even accusing me of being wrong about when my symptoms began. As a doctor, having empathy, patience, and understanding is essential--especially when dealing with patients in pain. I left the appointment feeling unheard, rushed, unresolved, and honestly taken advantage of given the amount I paid. To clarify, I did not personally schedule the appointment, a family member did, as I was in significant ear pain at the time. My family member was aware of the pricing before scheduling. That said, I take responsibility for not reading reviews beforehand and assuming the experience would be positive since the doctor advertises himself as an expert in tinnitus. I have difficult-to-fit ear canals (narrow and twisted) so getting ear buds to fit into my ears was a challenge, but Arian was able to fit my ears perfectly. I still have difficulty inserting the aids in my ear canals but it is getting easier.
