After asking for a cocker cut (which the groomer wasn't able to do), my cocker spaniel was completely shaved very short, not just a summer shave. I get it some groomers are not experienced enough, but he shaved my pup so short that it resulted in an open wound on her neck!! Before picking her up, the groomer called me to ask if she had ever been groomed before. She is a 7-year-old cocker spaniel, so of course she is used to being cut & trimmed up regularly. Still on the phone with him, he went on to complain that she wouldn't sit still enough. His excuse for just shaving her. Not only has my dog been put in pain with the wound, but has been so traumatized that she is hiding in closets and so shaky. If you love your pet, don't make them suffer from the lack of experience shown at Fuzzy Paws!

Readers and reviewers please know, this review is written with no service provided!…read more I am however completing the review because Purrfect pets responded to "project" on Yelp. Yelp prompts a "why did you not chose this business" when you clear your "project" Please start with the "what went well". They are prompt in communication. I was provided a link to a website to fill in my pets info, contact info etc. The process and service were going very well until we got to the invoice/booking part. And here's where it went wrong. Potential clients, please read your contract!!! The requirement is payment in full for the contract 15 days before the service is provided! When I stated this is unacceptable and I would not pay for services not provided, I was given a nicely worded statement of this is in place to ensure the care provider is paid. Other pet sitters have struggled to collect payment for services after the fact, etc. I appreciate that team members will be paid by their employer whether I as the client pay or not. However, my empathy for a small business's fear of being shorted does not cover their payroll 2 weeks prior to services provided. Potential clients, if you are booking a $20 dog walk, I think this review will feel over the top. However if you are booking a multi day-several hundred dollar booking, please know this clause is in your contract, and it is ultimately "what went wrong" (Yelp verbiage as to why I did not choose this business) with my interaction with this business. I do struggle with if this is a "Yelp review" however ultimately it is the reason I chose not to use them for service. I cannot say "I do not recommend" however I absolutely will say "read the contract, if you do not agree with this requirement this is not the company for you".

I remember early on when I returned for something I forgot and I saw Joyce cuddling with Georgie on his bed, I knew we got a great person. I especially like that Joyce sends a photo each day and a little update! She is very dependable and leaves the house clean and as she found it. Joyce is more introverted by nature which is no concern since it's her care and attention to Georgie that I most value. I highly recommend Joyce. Julie as the owner is great and speedy with communication too! The intake form is super thorough which is good, though since so long, I find it more helpful to leave Joyce my personal notes (which are also pretty long!).

She enjoys Khloe's gentle nature and we like how she cares for her. While I was there, I watched several large breeds being trimmed and was surprised how chill they were. Great training was done with these Dogs. Another came in Heavily matted and looked like another dog by the time we left. The Pet groomers here are friendly, show care for your pets which is why we schedule Marissa faithfully. Best care for your furry kids my Friends-SYOY!

The wonderful Andrea and Toni at reception are such great ambassadors for 4 Paws: always smiling, helpful, and give the true vibe of a well-run and fun place for the dogs. Their bi-weekly "pawties" are such a great day with food and photos, socializing with other dogs while playing, and coming back home all happy and exhausted :) When I go away for more than a couple days I like to call in and ask how my two are doing, because even knowing they're happy and safe my dog mom heart misses them so much. Andrea and Toni will call me if there's anything not routine, for example Mimzy is a little stress bucket so often won't eat the first day: they will assess, add a bit of wet food and everything is all good. On the rare occasion when one of them (Mim usually but Tuck too) may have a loose stool they will call to make sure it's ok to add the wet food or see if there's other options I use at home. The grooming station is visible from the reception so you can watch how the dogs or cats are well taken care of. They have a good selection of toys for sale, doggie biscuits, and some fun cards for all occasions as you come in. 4 Paws is friendly, very well run by the Andrea and Toni team, and the other staff I don't always see as they're 'behind the scene' but I know they too care and love the four-legged guests The ambiance as you enter is either very quiet or as other pups are being dropped off / picked up their furballs and it's a place where laughter and good vibes are plentiful.
