This is the wound/ rash. We had to shave the surrounding areas to treat it.

I brought my golden retriever to this location on Friday 09/13/24 for a bath and brush appointment and it took them 3 1/2 hours to complete the service. Then, about two days later I notice a wound has developed around his butt and down the base of his tail. So yesterday, 09/17/24 I go in to get antibacterial wipes because it says it's in stock at this store and the "manager/ shift lead" who was on said that the only stock they had was in the back and she was unable to get them for me. So I bring this situation to her attention and I show her a picture of my dogs rash/ wound that he had gotten from their grooming department to see if there was anyway I could bring him to the Banfield in their store so someone could look at it and she informs me that it's most likely not possible for them to see my dog in such short notice and that I would have to contact a higher up manager. So, I ask her for the number of this higher up manager and she says that all I can do is call the store the next day and request to talk with them. This is hands down one of the worst customer service interactions I have ever had. Keep in mind, prior to me talking to this "shift lead" I tried to talk to a different dark haired, male employee for some help with finding the antibacterial wipes and he immediately brushed me away with the worst attitude and said "no I actually I can't help you find it, but there are people by the fish department that can." I then go to the petsmart on Hampton near power road for the wipes and their manager urges me to take my dog into the vet and have pet smart deal with it later. So now I am out $500 because I had to take my dog to an emergency vet at 10pm because this locations grooming department gave my dog a skin infection. If I could give zero stars I would.

This is ONE quiked nail of several!!!

I'd give a zero if I could. We took my service dog in for a nail trim. I specifically said she needs to be in my sight and knowing it was just one girl handling her, not on a table (she's huge). The girl said that was ok and whomever I booked the appt. with the day before. We didn't think it was an unusual request as it hasn't been anywhere else. The first thing the girl did was take her out of my sight! Then they made me feel wrong for needing her in my sight even after they said it was ok! SHE IS MY SERVICE DOG! Then they brought her out where I could see her, clipped her to a tether on the ground right beside a busy door where other people and dogs were coming and going. She was scared! She has never been afraid of having her nails trimmed until today. Because we didn't want her on a table with just one person handling her, they asked us to leave before they finished. Every nail this girl had clipped was cut too short and bleeding! While there they were DRAGGING someone else's dog across the room by its choke chain, DRAGGING and choking the dog who also was scared! The entire grooming area smelled like dog crap and was filthy! I've been a steady customer of this store on Signal Butte for a long time. This was my first experience in their grooming area. Because of this experience and the nochalant attitude of managers, I will not return for any reason!

The groomer seemed like she rushed through grooming my animal. He looks so botched and I had to wash him a second time.

I could not figure out why nothing was working. A colleagusuggested that I try a dog trainer named Bob Solomini that he had used in the past. His passion and confidence in Bob convinced me and even though I was very skeptical and worn out I decided to give it one last try. I am excited to tell you about my invaluable experience and what I learned from it: -my dog was only a small part of the problem, but the majority of the behavioral problems stemmed from me. Dogs aren't born knowing how to behave the way humans would like them to, so we as responsible dog owners need to teach them. -we don't automatically realize what we are doing wrong and unless a true professional who really cares can teach us the correct way we can't be sure that we will ultimately have a happy relationship with our pet. -after four years of pulling my hair out and stressful walks with my dog I wound up moving to a new neighborhood, and my dog was totally out of control when I walked him. When he saw people with dogs, he went crazy and I could not stop him from barking and pulling. In fact, he pulled me down a couple of times where I sprained my ankle and another time where I hurt my knee. In fact, most of my neighbors walked the other way when they saw us and complained about my dog's bad behavior. After the first lesson, I immediately knew that I had found something different. Humane, focused,, professional, and results driven. I am so lucky that I found all American K-9 and especially Bob Solomini. I love walking my dog now, and all of my neighbors have praised the incredible transformation that they see. This was literally a life-changing experience for my dog and for me. I am so thankful that I found somebody that really knows what they're doing and really cares -not only is Bob a great person, but also the Best dog trainer that I have ever met. I highly recommend this trainer and business to anyone who is serious about having a great dog!

He had literally zero basic obedience skills - no sit, no stay, unmanageable on a leash, etc - when we started our four sessions with Bob. Within the first hour, Lalo was heeling at my side, walking loose leash, and sitting on his own when we stopped walking. I was amazed. Across our four sessions we added stay and recall. I took Lalo camping during our training, was able to allow him to roam off-leash in the forest and recall him from 100 yards away consistently. And this training has really calmed his anxiety and reactivity. I highly recommend Bob's training program for your dog.

It's been a month since our…read more4-year-old rescue, Angus, completed his 3-week board and train--and we can confidently say we have a completely transformed dog. When we adopted Angus, an American Bulldog, he was extremely reactive, had zero impulse control, and was tough to manage. Walks were stressful--he would bark, lunge, and completely lose it around other dogs. Recall was non-existent, and previous trainers had little success with him. After his time at CharlieBar, everything changed. Angus now walks calmly on a leash, his reactivity has decreased by at least 90%, and he thrives during his daily training sessions at home. The most remarkable part of Ricardo's approach is that it goes beyond basic commands--he teaches dogs how to think, make decisions, and self-correct. It's not just about punishment or praise; it's about helping dogs understand their choices. With a simple "uh uh," Angus now stops, thinks, and chooses better behavior--without fear or confusion. We're beyond grateful for the results and highly recommend CharlieBar to anyone looking to make a lasting difference in their dog's behavior.

This made walks in our neighborhood truly challenging with the crying, barking and jumping. We stumbled across Nate when he saw him on TV. He had all of his dogs in tow, which were all sweet and behaved. We decided to purchase Nate's book first and focused on the fundamentals that he stresses with in-person training. That was a great foundation. But ultimately, we knew we wanted to have training with Nate. From start to finish it was truly a positive game changer. He first came to our house for the initial 2 sessions. He brings his dogs as well! From there, you still do 1:1 training but out in the real world along with in a group setting with other dog families. I would highly recommend Nate. Our dog has transformed. He can be around other dogs without getting overly excited. We can take him to restaurants without being embarrassed and most of all, he's not stressed and can just be a good boy.

We hired Nate to train both of our dogs and paid over $1,000 for the program, which was a significant investment for our family. After the first private session, we were told that one of our dogs was essentially "untrainable," yet no refund or adjustment was offered for that portion of the service. That was our first concern. During the first session, I personally observed handling of my Chihuahua that, in my opinion, was unnecessarily rough and alarming. At one point, the dog was grabbed by the top of the neck and forced to the ground. I understand trainers may use different methods, but this felt excessive and inappropriate to me. Initially, we were hopeful because the first session seemed productive. Unfortunately, things declined quickly afterward. Multiple scheduled sessions were canceled or rescheduled by Nate. After the third change, I called to explain that repeated rescheduling was difficult for our family because both of us had to coordinate time away from work. I also noted that the client cancellation policy appeared much stricter than the flexibility being shown on the business side. During that phone call, Nate became hostile and used disrespectful language. We recorded the conversation after the call escalated. In my opinion, the tone and behavior were unprofessional and concerning. He also accused me of not following through with the training and claimed only my husband had been participating. That was inaccurate. I work from home and was the primary person consistently implementing the training exercises every day. We also attended a group training session where Nate brought his girlfriend along with a German Shepherd. She was never introduced, no explanation was given as to why she was there, and the situation felt awkward and unprofessional. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for what was supposed to be a structured training environment. Most importantly, the training did not produce the results we were promised despite our consistent effort and compliance with the program instructions. I have since spoken with others who shared similar dissatisfaction, though I can only fully speak to my own experience. My advice to anyone considering group sessions is to stay afterward and speak directly with other clients about their experiences and whether the training has been effective for them. In my opinion, it is valuable to hear honest feedback from others before making further commitments. This review reflects my honest personal experience and opinions. Others may have different results, but based on our experience, I would not recommend this service. If you would like to hear the audio recording of our phone interaction, feel free to reach out to me at Rayrayforthewin66@gmail.com. I strongly encourage anyone considering hiring a trainer to research thoroughly, ask detailed questions about methods, policies, and scheduling expectations, and choose someone whose professionalism and approach make you feel confident.
