The selection is very nice with a bunch of high end items and the staff knows their stuff. I ran into a few very strange issues with my rifle and the manager was still very kind, and helped work with me even though they could not fully verify the issue themselves! (Extremely strange failures with my rifle). Despite that, they took care of me and we came to a great resolution. My rifle is now running great. Shoutout to the manager and the rest of the staff. If you're interested in entry-level firearms, they have you covered as well. If you are interested in suppressors, they have one of the largest selections of cans on hand. They have many optics to choose from, and I learned that they will price match with Optics Planet. So instead of waiting for the delivery of an optic, find one online and go see it in person. East Valley Tactical and Eric Anderson are incredible! I met Eric at the CANCON event and asked him for a specific rifle part to pair with my suppressor. He didn't have it but called another local shop to try and find it for me. Unfortunately, no luck there either. Determined to find a solution, I later stopped by their Mesa shop, where they suggested an alternative using a Plan B device. This approach seemed perfect, so I purchased the part and went home to install it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the wrong part. The shop was closed, and I had plans to shoot early the next morning. When I texted their shop, Eric replied almost instantly. Despite it being late, he said he could meet me at the shop after dinner with his family. Who does that these days? Eric met me at the shop to exchange the part, and I thought the issue was solved. However, I realized later that while the new part worked for other guns, it didn't fix the problem for the one I really wanted to use. I texted Eric again, and he called me back to troubleshoot. He identified the exact part I needed and, despite having already left the shop, returned yet again to help me--this time at 9:30 PM! Eric's dedication to his customers is unmatched. The selection in this small building is outstanding. They even have a suppressor for a 12 gauge! (I don't want to know.) The staff are great. Informative. Friendly. We were greeted upon entering and told they would be with us as soon as they finished with the other customers. They have complimentary sodas and water. Unlike some gun stores you won't get the uptight and stale atmosphere. If you have questions, they will answer them without intimidating or embarrassing you. They will probably give you a lot of info you didn't even know to ask for. You can definitely get set up right here. Very impressively, they do their own trusts. So upon picking the suppressor we wanted, without asking, the employee explained the process for a trust. We had 2 of our children with us, so that was convenient. This is a thorough process but he made it as painless as possible. He had each person doing something simultaneously so it cut down on the time there significantly. We have actually been meaning to do a trust for years! Which would have continued to not happen. That alone makes it worth going there. read more

After some really negative experiences at a couple other shops in the valley, notably an NFA transfer that another indoor range botched and then sat on for two months before I had EVT take over, dealing with Eric, Jordan, and Zack has been a breath of fresh air. They A) actually know their stuff, B) want you to be a happy customer, and C) start the whole process right on the spot, so the clock for the ATF deciding when to let you exercise your God given rights starts ticking the very same business day. I wasted a lot of time and money dicking around with other shops and I really wish I could just go back and start all over again at EVT. Service is on point, the selection is excellent, and their prices are right in like with MAP and they were willing to match w sale price elsewhere to get my business. Much better experience under the new ownership. Before it seemed disorganized a lot of times and if the store was busy it was hard to get someone to acknowledge you and help you. Now every time I have stopped in it has been a great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is great at competitive prices. I visited EVT this past weekend for the first time ever-since moving down to the Phoenix area last July and I just have to say, the breadth of selection, cleanliness and the Staff-to-Guest ratio was impressive. Coming from a State where seemingly every Gun Shop made you feel like you were a burden & they all quickly ushered through the whole sales transaction process, EVT's friendly and knowledgeable Staff had me hooked at "hello, welcome in!" Joel, one of the EVT Staffers that was helping myself and my two friends out..sidebar, one of my friends that was with me is a retired, nationally published and decorated 2+ decade tenured SWAT Lieutenant, was so incredibly forthcoming with his years of experience and the knowledge gained of weapons while serving our Country. His genuine enthusiasm for his line of work was so contagious and he made me feel like no question was a bad one; he answered them all with sincerity & thoughtfulness. My First time there and originally came in to get some sights realigned because my gfs p365 slide came in the mail with the sights misaligned. Not the first time I've gotten an sig slide with the sights not properly aligned so figured it was a factory mistake. We didn't notice it till we hit the range and seen the pistol was shooting 2 inches left from center mass on a cardboard silhouette at 10 yards. it was obvious that the sights were off when we looked at them and no neither of us are bad shooters or were jerking at the trigger each shot. Anyway the Asian guy who's supposed to be the weekend "gunsmith" was supposed to realign them but didn't. In fact he did nothing with them. He didnt even try. I made a mistake not re checking the work and just trusted that he did it. I go to the range again to find out either of the front or rear sight show signs of being pushed in place. i was charged $35 dollars. Just to slightly move the sights and not even fully remove them? Pretty pricy and to make it worse he knew he ripped me off. I called Monday and a really nice helpful lady told me to come back in and I was helped and the actual gunsmith properly aligned my sights. I wasted an hour and a half both Saturday and Monday driving to and from because of this bs. bad first impressions I actually wanted to buy an AR and suppressor there but I chose to go else where knowing that I was for sure ripped off.
