Knob and tube wiring is a huge fire hazard and we were told it was completely taken out of our home. I would understand if there were remnants in the wall somewhere but this was actively supplying electricity to our house and was very easily visible from our basement. I would not recommend hiring Positive Energy electric. I don't necessarily feel that they were being dishonest with us, but their mistake is careless at best and could have put our home and our family in danger had it not been discovered by another electrician. I gave two stars because he is relatively responsive and came out beforehand when we had an issue with an outlet.
