Do not use this company for custom glass! I had a custom glass shower door/panel installed for my…read morewalk in shower. Since this is custom they sent out their own person to measure the glass. Normally when a professional measures for the glass they would account for all slopes. I have a tile bench that required a notch cut. the bench is sloped so water will run properly. The first panel was cut wrong and the company had to reorder. They blamed the manufacturer. The second panel was cut to almost the exact measurement for the lip which didn't account for the rail thickness/slope. So this panel was not going to fit unless the backing for the Channel rail was removed on the under side lip of the bench. I was okay with this being done as no one will know this was done except for myself and the installer. I also was going on the third scheduled install with them and was ready to have the glass done. They then proceeded to install my shower door. I asked them not to crack my tile. The lead installer was doing a good job but when the helper went to screw in the bottom side hinge he proceeded to force the screw in. Stripping the screw and cracking the tile behind the hinge. Picture is attached for reference. At this point I want nothing to do with this company and will be taking all my future business to Jim's Glass in Walla Walla, WA. I did send them an email a week ago to respond to my concerns and problems but they went unanswered. Maybe this was an off hand experience but did learn through asking around that when this was Yale glass it was a much better company and has lost its quality since then.

If, however, you don't want to experience those horrors, Than STAY AWAY FROM THE GLASS NOOK on Welsian way in Richland. Please READ all the other reviews about this place, and you will get the picture. I should have NOT given them the benefit of doubt. Go ahead and contract them for a job, and you will understand! After several weeks of waiting and frustration, I finally picked up my items, which were never even touched, and I am looking for a real professional contractor to fix the mirrors (3) on my medicine cabinet doors. All this time lost, such a crying shame. You do what you want. You have been warned!!!! STAY AWAY!

I cannot review the quality of the work because we didn't end up hiring them. Why? Read below…read more I called because their website says their showroom is by appointment only. Because no one answered the phone, I left a message and after about an hour received a call back. The woman who called said she was there 8-4:30 Monday through Thursday. I said cool, see you this afternoon. Fast forward to afternoon. My wife and son came with me to look at glass shower doors which I indicated on the phone. When we walked in, the woman inside said "How can I help you?". I said we were looking for shower doors. The women then pointed to the three units on display and said "well there they are" and half pointed, half waved her hand toward them. So, we looked at them and while looking, this woman basically just stared at us with terrible look on her face. No smile, no questions, no nothing. Most unfriendly customer service I've had in a long time in a world where customer service has gone down the toilet. The Glass Nook is no exception to this. As we finished our 3 minutes of looking at their selection of shower glass, the women asked us "is there anything else you need?" To which we replied no, not really. My wife asked me if I liked anything and I said I did because the glass looked nice but I also said I did not want to do business with this place. I said this so it was clear to the woman working there that I was unimpressed with her attitude, the look on her face, and the overall experience. Go figure. Another crap customer service experience from another long established Tri Cities local business. My advice to this business? How about don't be an absolute grouch when a customer comes in to spend some money. This women made it look like we interrupted her TV dinner in the back or her doom scrolling session on her phone. Whatever it was, I hope it was worth the $2000 we may have dropped at the business. I will never again step foot in this business.

I initially took it to a Toyota dealership that blew out the drain pipes that are on both sides of the roof. That worked for a couple of months but began leaking in January. When I returned to the Toyota dealership they determined that the skylight was the issue & quoted $1659.94 to replace the sunroof glass saying that the rubber seal on the sunroof was failing. I have never used the sunroof & when I looked at the rubber seal it looked brand new! I then went to the Windshield Doctor and met Dillan LeGrand. I explained the issue & he spent the next few hours sealing the drains while I waited. He charged a $100.00 fee for time and materials. He said to wait until it rained to insure the roof did not leak. After several weeks & no rain I decided to go through the car wash over the weekend. Not a drop of water leaked through the roof!! Yesterday I went to the shop & was thrilled to pay his fee. Dillan provided a solution to the problem, was courteous, creative and I highly recommend Dillan & his abilities! The Toyota dealership saw a silver haired senior woman, driving a Lexus & went "ChaChing"!! BS on that. Thank you Dillan LeGrand!
