The cashier immediately warned me that the cup would only be filled about 3/4 full and would be a little short because of it. I've ordered cold brew without ice at countless shops and have never once been penalized with less coffee especially since cold brew is already sold as a concentrate or full-strength product where ice just dilutes it. Charging the same price for less product feels cheap and disappointing. When I got my 3/4-filled cup, I figured maybe the flavor would salvage the experience. It did not. The cold brew was overwhelmingly bitter, no smoothness, no chocolatey or nutty notes, just harsh, over-extracted bitterness that lingered. Undrinkable even after trying to add my own milk at home. I considered going back to ask for a refund or a remake, but honestly, after the ice interaction and that first sip, I had zero confidence the next one would be any better. First time I've ever left a coffee shop feeling ripped off and stuck with a bad drink. Avoid.
