Beautiful, cozy space with ample seating. Offering a variety of freshly baked pastries, toasts, & house made spreads/latte syrups. The cold brew was delightfully bold yet smooth--one of the best I've had. The mixed berry scone was a little tart, could use some added sweetness. Hoping to try more flavors. The owner is very knowledgeable and ensures the highest quality ingredients are used. Many gluten free options. All this leading to a little higher than average prices, but to be expected for boutique coffee shops these days. Overall a great new addition right off Route 33.

I've been eagerly awaiting Old Soul's opening since I spotted the sign one day. After finding out in their instagram stories that they were open, I came on a Monday morning, June 30th around 8am. The windows are dark so it was hard to tell if they were open but I was greeted warmly after opening the door. The place looks like it took a lot of thought and consideration. There are plenty of seats and table, and a few cushioned seats if you'd like to be cozy and stay and read a book like I did. From the tables, to the lighting and the dish ware, there was a lot of care in their selections. I ordered a flat white, with almond milk. A regular flat white here is priced at $5.75, which is quite high, even for speciality coffee shops. Choosing almond milk and after tax, my coffee came out to be $7.20. My order took a while to come out, which they apologized for. I could see the two baristas at the bar struggling with my order. The first barista dumped what appeared to be a lot of foam into the espresso. After seeing him struggle, the other barista told him she would make it again. I appreciated the fact that they tried to make it better. She brought it to my table, with the apology for the belatedness and for the lack of latte art, which is more difficult to steam. Alternative milks are a bit more tricky. First appearances, there was thick layer of foam, which shouldn't be the case in a flat white. I tried it, and the espresso was watery, and the milk was definitely not steamed correctly, there was nothing creamy about my drink. I kept trying to drink it, with the thought that I had paid so much for it but after a few sips and the milk started separating, I gave up. A lot of effort seems to have gone into opening this cafe, but not so much into the training of their baristas. From overhearing their conversation, they seemed to be right out of high school and this was their first barista job. Their boss was absent, they had stepped out for a bit, so I didn't want to confront two inexperienced teens of my dissatisfaction. But I think leaving two inexperienced employees on their own was a lapse in judgment. At a specialty coffee shop, especially at this price point, one should expect the product that they are paying for, to match.

I've been anticipating this spot for a while. They've worked tirelessly to open it and so much thought has gone into it -- from the design & aesthetics of the place, to the coffee & pastries they serve. Everyone who walks in the door is greeted and every worker has been trained to be thoroughly knowledgeable on what is being served. The owners are often there and are a husband and wife power duo who bake the pastries themselves and ensure the coffee is on point. I particularly love the flat white, drip coffee, chocolate chip scone & their pumpkin bread (seriously I need more of this pumpkin bread ASAP!) Please understand this spot is a less than one month old. They have poured their heart and soul into mastering this and I can see their passion in every aspect. Manalapan needed a good coffee place, where people can gather and enjoy & where the owners have a hand in the running of the cafe. I can see this place evolving over the years and I'm excited about the future for them ! (And getting a good cupppa for me !!)

Newly opened family owned community coffee shop with a craft feel. Owner is very friendly and engaging. I'll pay premium to support a local family business vs. sbx or dnk'n dntz. They have freshly baked scones, a welcoming vibe, and a good latte. Encouraging customers to bring a laptop or a book, it could definitely be a cool place to hang out. Possibly add some comfortable seating and low tables as it grows.

Really nice and accommodating owners. Seems like a good place to hang out and grab a cup of coffee. Pretty sure all is baked on premises.

Caffeine Haven or Caffeine Heaven?? One in the same I say…read more.. My first cronut experience (not my last), a Hot Toffee Crunch Cold Brew Latte that hits like no other, and a Cranberry Delight Refresher that lives up to its name! This combo made for one happy customer, let me tell you! Caffeine Haven is such a cute spot. You walk in and you can immediately tell you've just stepped into a warm, welcoming environment! They've managed to develop this really lovely and authentic community feel. Plus the decor is just too sweet. A bookshelf in the corner with some children's toys/games, little kiddie tables (too cute), and plenty of seating for the grownups too :) This place is really for everyone! Not only are the staff super friendly, but you know they know what they're doing as soon as you sip one of their brilliantly crafted beverages. The latte was my favorite. My friend ordered for us so I had no clue it was made with almond milk (I'm a whole milk girl.) But you know what, I didn't mind. It was out of this world good! Didn't overdo it with the cinnamon, it was just this perfectly sweetened and spiced warm goodness. As for the Cranberry Refresher, this was absolute perfection. Sweet and just slightly tart. Even as the ice melted, the flavor did not get diluted which is not usually the case with these types of drinks. Finally, the cronut...hello to my new friend. How I've never tried one until now I have no clue, but if they're all as good as Cafe Havens, damn... It was chewy, buttery, with that cinnamon sugar. Yum and yum, the perfect side to the delectable latte! Whether you're picking up or you decide to stay a while, you won't be disappointed! It doesn't hurt that it's only 3minutes away from a new local gem, Dollar Donuts! I highly recommend checking them both out! You won't be disappointed :)
