We booked an appointment and got blessed to work with Bill. He was super knowledgeable and happy…read more He was patient with all 3 of our boys who have different tastes and styles. He found them all the perfect ski and snowboard sets! They have an awesome selection and great programs, especially for growing kids. The appointment was smooth and fun. If I could give him 10 stars, I totally would. All the staff was super friendly. Really clean store. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment, request Bill if you can! So it's an appointment only business and that is encouraged!!!!!…read moreThey do accept walk in service although that's a gamble and unless your picking up grab & go gear, from mid October on, your gonna be hard-pressed to get assistance. I had an appointment today and the place was bustling. They have plenty of staff although I saw signs for help everywhere. So here's my take, there aren't many ski shops anymore or like there was say, 40 years ago. Baltimore Ski Warehouse (BSW) is pretty central and they do offer both used and new equipment. There prices on used equipment are a tad high vs. eBay or liquidation sites. With that said, just like a lot of shopping, ski gear also has gone online and it's equally affordable to BSW. When you buy online, it's a gamble because what important is the fit! Some sales are final sales or a PITA to return. BSW affords you the fit and will work with you until you're happy. That's called connivence and you pay a little extra for convenience just like you do for milk and bread at the big gas stations. Today, I tried of 4 brands of boots and purchased a pair and left happy despite paying a little more. BSW, guaranteed me a good fit or I can return the used boots for another pair of used boots within their huge selection. Folks were nice and again, it was busy so MAKE AN APPOINTMENT online. It's easy and you're guaranteed service. Note: No Veteran or First Responder discounts.

Go somewhere else. Anywhere else…read more They sold me a defenctive inner tube. Not their fault. When I brought it back, they just looked at the box and said over and over that it was the right size. I agreed that it was the right size, but pointed out, repeatedly, that the actual tube in the box was defective. They didn't even look at it. Finally, they told me that they would prove it to me by watching me install the defective tube myself, with a single tire lever they handed to me, while they stood around and watched. After I started to install the tube, which would not fit -- because it was defective -- they told me I was doing it wrong (but did not tell me what they thought I was doing wrong). I left the store. I went to Tarrapin -- a competitor nearby. They sold me an inner tube for $2 less. I installed it myself (at home -- I don't really need an audience for that) in about 2 minutes. I just went on a wonderful ride. No problems. There's more. Instead of writing a negative review, I emailed the owner in hopes of an apology and maybe an explanation. That did not happen. A co-owner emailed back and said that he had been one of the people at the shop and they were "only trying to help." The kicker from him: "to be very clear: neither my staff nor I called you names, insulted you, or attacked you in any way." Nobody accused this guy of committing any crimes, but apparently his view is that customer service is successful so long neither he nor his staff attacks a customer. These guys are just obnoxious jerks. There's no need to give them your money.

I had a very disappointing experience with this bike shop…read more. I originally chose this location because it's close to Walter Reed, where I work. I was excited to pick up my new bike, but I never received a call that it was ready, so I had to come in and check myself. I asked if I could take the bike as-is and have a mechanic assemble it elsewhere, but they refused and said it had to be assembled by them or I'd be responsible for any issues. Since assembly was included, I agreed to wait. At pickup, the experience got worse. The owner made fun of me for not getting clipless pedals for it. He said people will make fun of me having this bike with a flat pedal. I'm a beginner rider and not comfortable using clipless yet, especially since they require dedicated shoes. That kind of attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional. There was also confusion with my order. I had purchased additional items through Specialized, but the shop didn't seem aware and substituted some parts with their own inventory without clearly communicating it. During the fitting, the owner made a comment about me wearing Yeezy slides while adjusting my saddle height, which again felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Once I finally rode the bike, I started noticing multiple issues: The front wheel was not aligned properly The bar tape was installed incorrectly (wrapped backwards) The brake hoses were cut too short and routed too tightly around the stem Because of the brake hose issue, when I later changed handlebars, I had to pay extra for a new hose. These are basic assembly details that should have been done correctly the first time. When I brought these issues up, the shop dismissed my concerns and claimed I assembled the bike myself, which is not true. I gave them another chance with a second bike, but the result was similar. The drivetrain was so poorly set up that we initially thought something was broken. After multiple visits where they couldn't fix it, we ended up taking the bike to Trek another shop in Rockville, where it was resolved quickly with proper tuning. Overall, this shop showed a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and subpar assembly work (probably their new tech). I would not recommend them.

A Big Thank You to Play It Again Sports - A Company That Truly Cares…read more You often hear about the negatives when it comes to businesses, but I want to take a moment to share the good--and in this case, the great. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Play It Again Sports over the years, both as a customer and a member of the community. From buying and selling equipment for my daughter and her various sports to getting my own gear serviced, they've always gone above and beyond. Most recently, I reached out to them about equipment for a charity event, hoping to find affordable options. Instead, they generously donated what we needed. Their kindness and compassion blew me away. The team is professional, helpful, and community-minded. Because of their consistent support and genuine care, Play It Again Sports will always be my first stop for any sports equipment needs. Thank you for making such a positive impact--you've earned a loyal customer for life

Let me start off stating I have very high standards. The Play it Again Sports in Baltimore has met…read moreand exceeded all of them. I purchased some Kettlebells from them in April just as were all going into lockdown. They had the items in stock, and sold them without gouging. Many places were selling at $3/pound, PIASBmores sold at a much more reasonable rates. Then they were able to deliver to HOCO since they had a delivery coming to that area, saving me from driving up to BMore. Now I found myself wanting some dumbbells, again PIASBmore came through, where so many people are attempting to sell 2 20lb dumbells for $100 they again came through with normal prices. What's more they held their original quoted price even when their cost increased. That is putting the customer FIRST! Jamie and the gang really work for you. Give them an opportunity.

Then I found Turkey Hill Ice cream Experience only 30min away from Lancaster, and decided to visit. We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

I choose one scoop; hilights of my visit- learning history of Turkey Hill, process of icecream being made, creating a virtual icecream flavor, watching the production , live from interactive camera in one of the exhibits. Be sure to take the few moments, to watch the introduction video. My favorite ice cream sample flavors were Graham Slam & Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake. An attraction must, well visiting Lancaster, PA. My recommendation would be too sell a few more flavors that you offer , with unlimited tastings. My favorite was orange icedtea.
