It is above ground, and the tracks are elevated, with escalators and elevators providing easier access. Our family had a chance to visit, parking in one of the 1,500 nearby parking stalls, and taking the 2 line to it's northernmost terminus in downtown Redmond, and back. In the near future, the '2' line will continue to Seattle, eventually going all the way to Lynnwood. Supposedly later in 2025 or in 2026. Similar to the project at Redmond Technology Station, this facility has been upgraded tremendously. This station now has covered waiting areas for westbound buses and the surface level parking lot has been replaced by a large parking garage. This makes taking the bus into downtown Seattle for major sporting events and concerts more convenient. It also offers a faster way to get to a location in Bellevue or Redmond on the 2 Line rather than transferring buses in Downtown Bellevue like before. Also I believe the garage may be used to access the Mercer Slough Nature Park which has an entrance right next to it. Thus making it very convenient to take public transportation to access this park's features which include a blueberry farm. I am glad that the public transportation connectivity in Bellevue is getting better and better with this station as evidence of this.

Located in the heart of downtown Bellevue, this outdoor transit center (basically a series of…read moreberths where different bus numbers come and go) can be used to go to SeaTac airport in about 45 minutes. It also has local buses going throughout Bellevue, which can be used as connectors. The lightrail does not connect through Bellevue. There is a lot of construction next to the transit station (building some sort of high rise). I-405 is what connects Bellevue to the airport, and the bus takes it most of the way. It is just a standard bus, so doesn't have luggage racks nor empty spaces where bulky luggage can be placed. Works if you have one piece of luggage and the bus isn't too full. Bus driver was super friendly, and the fare one-way is $2.75 if using the mobile app that lets you buy the ticket on-line (you have 2 hours of unlimited uses once you activate it...so free transfers).

If you go wait at the bus stop super early like 10-15 minutes to prepare for the buses that come too early but it's delayed, you will end up waiting 20-50 minutes in total just standing in the blazing sun or cold rain. But if you try to go on time with a few extra minutes early, there are days buses will be 8-10 minutes early so you will miss it and with my luck the next bus will be delayed. Today I went out at 1:10PM for a bus and it was super early so I waited for the next one and it was delayed. Now I will arrive somewhere around 2:30PM for a place that takes 10 minutes to drive to.

There's also a fairly large parking garage so you don't have to fight for parking. The down side is that this place is pretty dirty and I regularly feel bad for my shoes. Smells like pee a lot of the time. Definitely watch where you walk! There are definitely some...colourful...characters here, especially at night, but I've never felt like I was in danger so that's always something to enjoy. Overall I'd highly prefer to drive or Uber, but when using transit this station will help you get you where you need to go.

RTC is decent but not as clean as the other transit centers. Connections are excellent. You will…read moreoccasionally run into the Bible group in the mornings. Food options nearby are decent. There are quite a bit of unsavory characters at all times. So be careful of your stuff. Nice fountain with sitting area. Local PD does their rounds once in a while to keep the peace. Transit parking is convenient. Tuesday afternoons is the nearby farmers market that is worth checking out.

This station is the 2nd to last Eastside stop before you head onto SR 520 so it is basically a transfer point. A lot of buses from places like Kirkland, Redmond and Woodinville make stops here before crossing over. On the return trip east, you can change between buses that originate from downtown Seattle and the U-District here. To quicken my commute, I have taken buses to this station and then transferred to a different bus to get to my final destination. Clyde Hill/Yarrow Point Station is partially covered, but open air. It can get chilly waiting here on winter days. Still your wait here is usually only going to be a few minutes, so it is bearable. I do have a personal preference for the Evergreen Point stop over this one. Heading west, I want to spend the least amount of time potentially standing on the bus that I need to. If your usual bus is delayed, I would recommend taking a bus to this stop as it gives you more options to choose from. It is helpful for those who need to change over from a U-District bus to a downtown Seattle bus and vice versa.

The Clyde Hill/Yarrow Point Station is super convenient to get to for Eastsiders. I've only been…read moreto this station a few times, only when my normal route has been backed up, and it's nice to know that there is this stop which isn't too far from downtown Bellevue. The bus stop is along 520. Once you're dropped off, there is a flight of stairs that takes you to the roundabout area that makes pick-ups easy peasy. At this stop, it's also covered, which has been handy since the last time I visited here it was snowing! This stop is not very walkable to any of the eastside neighborhoods, so I would recommend making arrangements to be picked up; hence, the roundabout driveway for cars here.

My friend and I used flixbus to go from Everett, WA to Vancouver BC in December…read more I don't recall the driver's name but he sort of looked like, acted like, and sounded like Ned Flanders from The Simpsons. He wasn't too friendly as I didn't like how he scolded my friend and I for taking too long to get inside the bus after he checked our passports outside to get in. (It was raining so I had to take time to carefully put my partially wet passport back and close my large umbrella before going inside) I didn't feel 100% safe with the driver's driving in heavy rain. On the highway, he drove a little bit faster than i felt was necessary, and he drove a little too close near other cars. As for the bus stop area, Some things i wish Flixbus did was provide a place with shelter and seats for times the rain was pouring. There was only a sign post at the Everett bus stop. The weather was terrible and my friend and I had to stand in the pouring rain and string winds without any shelter for 15 minutes. Second, the instructions for the meeting place was unclear. There should be a real picture of the actual meeting place to reference instead of words or street names and a confusing description of the area. I was so lost. I had to ask the transit office to point me in the right direction after I wandered around aimlessly for 15 minutes looking for the flixbus bus stop. Flixbus provides free wifi. The free wifi was terrible for YouTube video streaming but it was ok for web surfing and such. On a positive note, the timing of arrival and departure was timely and there were no issues that negatively impacted my trip in a big way. Overall, Ill give it 3/5 stars based on this trip. Would i go on flixbus again? Yes, but it would always be my second choice to amtrak train. Also, right now, theres no other real convenient and affordable choices in terms of shuttle busses that travel from Seattle to Vancouver BC.

Warning for Flixbus customers: If you book an open-jaw trip, you are screwed if they cancel one of…read moreyour legs. An open jaw works like this: You travel Flixbus from A to B, and then take other transportation from B to C, and then Flixbus from C to D. I had the C - D leg of my trip cancelled without explanation. Without that leg, I could not complete the full journey. But when I called Flixbus to get my A - B leg cancelled, they refused. Won't escalate it to a supervisor. You're just out of luck.

That station has a major parking issue so this allows commuters from Bonney Lake to have easy non stop access to the Sounder train(and an easy ride to downtown Seattle) and being able to park very close to home and not fight for parking in Sumner. Seems like a safe location and cars of any kind will be fine here. Not the easiest to get out of in the evening but hey, you can't have it all.
