His truck was towed by A Plus Towing while our family was dealing with the aftermath of his sudden death. We couldn't find his wallet, so the trooper helping us contacted the company to see if he could access my dad's truck. They wanted $150 just to unlock the gate so the trooper could look for it, since it was a Sunday and they were "closed." The next day, I went there myself. I understand that they have procedures for releasing vehicles to family members. That was not the issue. The issue was the complete lack of compassion. After the trooper contacted his lieutenant, who then contacted the company to release my dad's truck to me, Jeremiah told me: "Just because we talked to the lieutenant, I still don't know if I WANT to release it to you." I was absolutely stunned. He walked away, clearly annoyed, and brought me to my dad's truck. My dad had just died, and instead of showing even a little empathy, I was treated like an inconvenience. His truck had been there a little over 24 hours, and I was charged over $300. This review is not about the money. It's not even about their policies. Businesses have rules, and I understand that. It's about how you treat people when they are going through one of the worst moments of their lives. There was no compassion shown to me, especially from Jeremiah. I sincerely hope no other grieving family has to experience this kind of treatment--or work with this company again.
