Eastlake Lake is a very serene, man made body of water that is very well-kept, and very popular with residents and non-residents of the Eastlake community. It is home to both ducks and turtles. Lots of kids and kids at heart come to feed them. The inside walking path can be smelly stinky sometimes from all the duck doo doo, but maintenance tries their best to clean it often. It has a good outer running loop of about 1.2 miles On a typical day you will see runners, walkers, strollers, and doggos. They have lots of benches throughout the loop and grassy areas as well if you want to come relax, read a book, and listen to the birds sing. read more

Nice walking trails and beautiful lake. The parking was difficult but was expected with the event going on that day.

Perfect place to take a stroll around the lake for some daily exercise. The ducks are so friendly here. Remember to bring healthy snacks and not bread if you are going to feed them. I live 5 min up the road from here, it's a very pleasant walk; like many others we have around here. What I love about this one is that there's plenty of shade, trees, and I have always seen it well kept. I have never used the amenities, I think is only for residents/family members. read more

Super cute area. We came to take family pictures on a weekend morning and it was perfect. We practically had the park to ourselves which we appreciated since we didn't want any people in the background of our photos. This lake is in a neighborhood and has ample parking. There's ducks and swans that are beautiful to see. There is grassy areas to have a nice picnic or to let the kids roam and run around. We took pictures on the bridge which came out really nice. This is a great hidden spot and gem when you are in a pinch to take some nice photos or need a place to exercise or chill. No playground unfortunately for the kids but at least there is wildlife and fresh air! read more

Very beautiful and well maintained park with a nice trail walk around the lake. Many geese and ducks around. Dog waste bag and trash can are available through out the trail. Not too crowded. Street parking easy to find a spot. Great place to take your pup for a walk or spend time with family. The only downside is that there is no public restroom. read more

Don't try to come here and take pictures with your family by the water(even if you live in Eastlake) the manager will come out and threaten to call the police because she clearly doesn't have much else to do. This lake is a neighborhood gem!!! During CoVid my Family and I walked around the late 2x/day, nice place to take a break from quarantine, it's not too crowded, a beautiful walk around during the day or night can boost your mood instantly. I read reviews about bringing bug spray but nothing could've prepared me for actual swarm clusters of bugs all throughout the lake. There was no escaping it. The clusters were so overwhelming, there were many people (myself included) running away. I'm sure I swallowed some bugs. The view is beautiful but not worth it after experiencing the herds of bugs, not an exaggeration I swear lol. read more

Beautiful lake to walk around and feed the animals, though the lake needs some serious cleaning. Last year all the fish died and now it seems turtles are dying in this lake too. Water has become brown and mucky. So sad. Don't want it to affect the ducks and other water birds that visit this lake. Please clean! read more

I didn't see turtles ;( maybe next time! The view is beautiful!!!!!!! The sounds the birds mKe is so relaxing! Stress free. We loved it and were super happy just looking at the lake and having some quality time. There's also like a bike path!!!! I have been coming here for years to feed the ducks. At first I would feed the ducks bread but then I learned that it is bad for them and their environment so do not feed them bread! I buy I stand oatmeal instead. It's a good place to ride bike or scooter and walk around the lake. Their are also a bunch of turtles! So cool. read more

Fun little park with geese and ducks. Supposed to be only for residents, but you can park on the street and enjoy the lake as a non-resident. Recommended to bring oats, shredded lettuce and seedless grape halves for the birds. Bread isn't a healthy treat. read more

I come here to jog... Also when I'm bored and don't know what to do. You can feed the ducks or just walk around and observe them.. It's a good place to relax. this manmade lake is surrounded by condos I think? So sometimes it's awkward to walk around when people are in there tiny balcony/backyard.. Residents of the area can paddle boat in the lake & the have a cool community pool which is beached themed .. too bad I'm not a resident since I live in the surrounding houses :( boo! read more

Nice residential neighborhood lake easily accesible from nearby major thoroughfares. Park for free on the street or in the Beach Club lot. Lots of ducks this time of year (with signs regarding what you should or should not feed them). Good place for a first time "meet and greet" since it is quiet but public, relatively safe and scenic and allows for talking while walking but not that far or long - unless you choose to go around more than once. read more

We love this lake :) I take my kid & dog here all the time. The lake is .7 miles around. There are turtles, ducks, birds, and fish! We feed them bread a lot (and they'll ALL eat it, not just ducks :))... the ducks are always hungry. There is fishing allowed on certain days (Sundays and Wednesdays I think?). If you are a resident of Eastlake Shores like we are, you can rent a pedal boat or go to the beach club right next to the lake. I haven't done either, so I can't comment on that! There are plenty of benches along the way to rest or have a picnic. Lots of trashcans too to throw your trash away! The downfalls.. Sometimes the lake gets crowded, in the evenings from about 5-7pm and sometimes in the mornings from about 8-10am. It can get really quiet during midday though. There is sometimes an odor in one particular part of the lake, not sure if it's due to duck poop or what. And like someone else mentioned, it can be a little awkward if people are in their backyard hanging out and you walk by. One time a house was having a kid's party in their backyard, and I felt like an intruder! read more

This neighborhood and lake is very clean and well maintained. A beautiful place to walk, run, ride your bike or have a picnic. They have ducks waddling around to feed. The community itself has expanded from the first time this suburbia was constructed. It definitely is a city within a city. But today I will review Eastlake Shores pond. This has always been my favorite place to clear my head when I was a teen and shared it with those who I held dear to my heart. So here I return with my keiki as we go on a early evening stroll around the lake/pond that has filled up much more since the long drought. But many things have changed. The koi fish I once saw where no longer swimming but something must be since I saw two older gentleman fishing. It's a lot more darker than usual and murky. I did take note of more tortoise that have called this place home. Likely pets that were set free. It is still nice to take a stroll and see the horizon sunset from the west. The ducks approach more since they know they are being fed and there is a area in the pond where the water is much more shallow for these tortoise to sun themselves. Overall the once amazing lake/pond is still pretty in its way but not the once awe striking lake which always drew me to it. But for a nice stroll and jog this is a good place to venture. read more
