Fellow Solano County Residents, My wife and I have used EASY JOBS ELECTRIC owner/electrician EVAN CARR in the past, when he installed three modern Ceiling LED Canned Lights in our Kitchen, here in Benicia .. .. Well, This time, we had a major problem, as the Lights in our kitchen, Hallway, and the outlets and lights in the Hall Bathroom, and the outlet plug in my Den, refused to work .. .. I even tried to reset the Breaker Switch, and NO LUCK getting the lights as described to come on !! .. .. So I immediately called Mr. Carr on 9/9/2022, and he came over and looked at the possible problem, causing the power outage on this circuit .. .. The owner quoted me one figure when we first spoke then tried to change it to a few hundred dollars more the day before the job. I reminded him of the prices that were quoted and he honored them. The installers were nice and worked quickly but used some unsafe methods (their ladder was too short for the job) and left some exposed black electrical tape along my white/clear cord chandelier that's visible from every angle. They fixed an outlet in my bedroom that had a bad connection due to us removing it for construction. Overall I would make sure to document prices early on and speak up of the work isn't visually up to standard before they leave. read more

I contacted Easy Job Electric for some minor work relating to a new kitchen counter installation involving removal and relocation of some electrical outlets over the counter. They were available the next day and did exactly what I needed including bringing some other outlets up to code and making some good suggestions about the changes I wanted to make. While they were there, I also asked them for help in a couple of days to remove and replace an electric cooktop for the counter replacement. I wanted it disconnected the night before the installation and reconnected the next day after the counter installation. Although they had a very busy schedule, they fitted these little fussy jobs into their work day and came late each afternoon to minimize the time I would be without my cooktop.
