Whenever I need anything done around the house, I always check out the reviews before considering someone new to do the task. In this case, the reviews were absolutely accurate. Dante came to replace a ceiling fan in my bedroom. He was on time, he wore booties to protect the floors, and he covered the work area in plastic before proceeding. Dante was quick to respond [within an hour] to my request install a NEMA 14-50 outlet at my house. From there I sent some photos of my electric panel, and he provided with me a fair estimate instantly. Also he was flexible to work around my availability. On the day of install, I was greeted by Dante who, friendly. He showed me the area he thought best to install the outlet, but was never insistent. In fact, he asked me if I thought it should go elsewhere since I needed the outlet to charge my EV. I agreed with his recommendation, since it works for my situation. It was great decision to hire Dante for our electrical upgrades after buying a new home. He was responsive, immediately understood the project, was really flexible working with us to break the work down into phases, at a reasonable and fair cost. Our house is an old one, with a mix of knob and tube and modern wiring. We needed new dedicated circuits for various appliances to bring up to code, and Dante quickly understood the needs and was able to let us know we did not yet need an expensive panel replacement as other electricians had been pushing for somewhat aggressively. I really appreciated this touch. He also helped us out with awesome LED recessed lighting and even ran cat6 round the house to my specs with no fuss. Dante had to deal with older construction techniques in our house, like lathe and plaster, and blocking in the walls, and did a great job navigating our crawlspace and attic which enabled him to really reduce the amount of unnecessary damage to our walls. Dante also has helped me understand the process for future improvements that would enable things like solar installation or electric vehicle charging, which would require pulling more power from the provider. I ended up more educated on the topic and will gladly work with Dante again on that when the time comes. The icing on the cake: really easy to get along with. Shared a few good laughs. Called Genesis Electric regarding a Tesla wall charger install at my house as they were one of the few business listed to be certified electricians. I spoke with Dante shortly after to setup an appointment for him to come by to look at the situation and provide a quote. Dante gave me an estimate for the work and he told me to call him when I receive the charger so we could setup labor. I wanted to have my charger installed ASAP as I was scheduled to pick up my new Tesla soon. I gave him a call as soon as I received the charger and he was able to put me down for the next day. After completing the work, the final charges were less than what he quoted initially. He did an exceptional job and completed the work in a timely manner. Dante has come and done multiple Electrical jobs for me over the years. I always forget to write a review. He's installed a new breaker for me, run new outlets, pulled both Coax & Cat5e ethernet cables, installed can-less lighting with dimmer switches on multiple occasions in several different locations. Had a multi outlet outage for awhile and finally decided to do something about it. Based on the terrific reviews I submitted a request for a quote. Dante was at our house the next morning! We didn't get an estimate but he fixed the issue for a very reasonable price. He told me he was booked for two weeks (in demand!) but asked me about my problem, and proceeded to instruct me -which I really value as a DIY guy-on where to look for a loose wire in my furnace for the A/C. That briefly solved the problem but then I needed a new voltage transformer.
