Was not very impressed with this business. My son took driving lessons here and the gentleman that…read morewas said to have owned the company was the one who gave him driving lessons. The only problem was that he never actually ever let him take the wheel by himself and drive the car. He does charge $50 a lesson which is a good price but he needs to allow people to actually learn how to drive and actually feel with the vehicle feels like or else they're never going to understand how to drive a vehicle. My son spent $300 and really didn't know much more than when he started which to me was concerning. but what was more concerning to me was when my son was coming to me telling me that he would have to stop during the middle of his our session I'm driving so that the instructor or the owner of the company could go drop paperwork off at his place of business I believe it was. Does seem to be a reoccurring thing happening more often while he was driving on his lesson. Now if you take 5 minutes to go run something into an office and come back out to a vehicle and you do that 12 times that's an hour that you paid for and you didn't drive. That to me is being dishonest needless to say my son is no longer with this company but I felt that I needed to write this because I feel that he should learn from his mistakes and do things differently from the way he has been doing it. if he chooses not to then his customers need to know that that's the way he's doing things and they need to decide whether they want to give him their money or not. That's just my concern from a concerned father.

You went over and beyond to walk us through the process of preparing for the test. She is thrilled that she passed. We couldn't be more pleased. For those considering private lessons, Marybeth was professional, on time and conveniently came right to our house. She has an approachable personality that actually put our daughter at ease. Marybeth clearly knows her stuff and her program worked for us. Our daughter had three lessons and chose to use her third lesson the hour before the test. I think this was very helpful. Marybeth scheduled the test for us, picked up our daughter for final private lesson and the test that followed. Our daughter used Marybeth's car for driver's test and she brought her home afterwards. She was very accommodating every step of the process.

She's very professional and proficient!

So finally after reading the reviews online I have decided to contact Ronny at Albany Driving School for my third road test. Within 5 minutes of starting my driving lesson with him, I realized that he is heads and shoulders better than the other company. He immediately started to point out flaws in my driving and taught me how to exactly hone my skills so that I can get a perfect score on the road test. Ronny is all about perfection. He will work with you over and over again until you get it right 100%. Even 98% is not enough for him. This can scare a lot of people off, but if you need to pass the road test, you absolutely need to be perfect and Ronny is the guy who would continue to work with you until you perfect your driving skills. While any other instructor will reserve their feedback or give up if you keep getting it wrong, Ronny will keep on your case until you get it right. Honestly I cannot imagine a better driving instructor out there. If you need to pass your road test and are on the fence about taking lessons from Ronny, let me tell you that if you do, it will be the best decision you could possibly make. If you spend sufficient time practicing with him, he will make sure you pass. He will not give up on you and genuinely wants you to succeed. I passed my third road test all because of Ronny and I would highly recommend him to anyone who can take constant feedback and act upon it to improve it.

I've been here 4 or 5 times at this point and have had a very good experience overall. One thing I…read morelike about the place is, obviously, the price. It's super reasonable to get a haircut here because they are students. On top of that, it feels like a salon (although there are students working on their dummy heads to practice). They have a separate wash room that is a bit more serene and a busy salon floor. The students are generally friendly and eager. They are also supervised by a learning leader (I've noticed there are usually at least two, often three, walking the floor at all times). I think most of the time the students are good about checking in with their learning leader if they're unsure about how to do something. (My two cents: There is a male learning leader with short dark hair who is especially good with the students.) If something is too complicated for a student, the learning leader models how to do it. I did have a student sort of rush, but only once. I still walked out with a good cut, although I think she should have checked in with her learning leader before moving ahead with a part of the cut. She also "styled" by hair with the straightener, which cost $8 more than the $12 cut I was expecting, so that was sort of unpleasant. I'm sure I could have spoken up and had that fee removed since I didn't want the styling, but I didn't feel like getting into it. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the school offered either a physical or digital comment card so that customers could leave feedback for the students. It's not asked for in any way, which seems weird to me considering the learning aspect, and if it were to be asked, I'd rather write it down than have a potentially awkward conversation with the student. That being said, I am really happy with the Paul Mitchell School and will continue to go back for my my cuts, especially since I get pretty simple styles (although I've seen them do great, more complicated stuff on other clients getting work done). I started going here because my coworker's daughter attended the school and she was getting her (great) hair done there (and I was hearing good things about their program from my coworker). I haven't gone anywhere else since.

You walk into the student bathroom and people are in tears about how horrible it is. And how they waisted 24 THOUSAND dollars. They can't keep staff because they treat them like absolute garbage. Admin is nothing but rude and do not care about anyone. You learn how to do nails on a paper. They stopped doing all services other than hair. No nails, waxing or pedicures. On top of it all, my parents made a check to them and it bounced! I will say they fixed the problem within 48 hours but the problem should not have occurred. They bash other cosmetic schools because "they teach more" no they do not. Go somewhere cheaper and kinder to students and staff
