DECEPTIVE MARKETING: Can I leave zero stars?…read more Attempted to purchase a vehicle from Orlando Preowned advertised at $20,995 on the website. After scheduling an independent prepurchase inspection received the dealership's initial with an additional "Reconditioning" fee of $1987. When challenged, "the manager approved" a reduction of $500 for this "standard" fee. I let the vehicle go. Salesperson continued to ping my email with pressure that another sale might be pending, so I rereviewed the website and noted that Orlando Preowned advertises in general an on the specific vehicle "Zero Junk Fees & Zero Dealer Fees: The price you see is the price you get". While I'm no lawyer, this infers to me that the price on the vehicle landing page is the sale price I should expect. When confronted with this insight (with the GM copied), the salesperson dug their heels in again, reiterating this was a "standard" fee. The GMs response was to cut/paste the salespersons email as a reply without addition. Now I'm not a dumb consumer, and clearly certinly not as bright as the employees of this company, but " The price you see is the price you get" does mean something to the most of us, and I don't' think it aligns with Orlando Preowned's point of view. Disingenuous at best, more inline with deceptive, bait & switch

They don't return phone calls (until you file a complaint with Kia corporate), and customer service sucks!!! My previous ride had been via Drivetime and I had fallen in love with my 2016 Kia Soul. I went to Orlando Kia West hoping perhaps they might have a newer model with a back up camera. I was very clear when I went in, what I could put down, and the payments per month I could afford. I was shown a very nice 2020 Kia soul, lots of bells and whistles. And while I loved the car I was concerned about the price. The gentleman I was placed with for Sales was the most high pressure, rude, and dismissive person I have met. From the outset he was bound and determined to sell me this car at the exact price. I freely admit I have not so great credit, however if someone tells you from the outset, A) I have less then desirable credit, B) This is exactly how much I have to put down and C) Here are payments I know I can afford. How do you come back to them with numbers that require 3x the down payment amount and 200$ more then they said they could pay? I was baffled. I stood firm and then the wanting to get a co-signer push started. I was at the dealership with my girlfriend and over and over and over he wanted her to sign, even making her feel guilty for not offering. It was ludicrous! I even asked about a used car at a lower price point and I was told point blank it would be harder to finance a used car versus a new one. And he went for the co-signer angle for the 3rd time after being told a FIRM no. At that point I had enough. We left the dealership, and went to DriveTime on West Colonial. With in 2 hours I had a 2017 Kia soul, with a rearview camera (the only thing I really wanted), and payments in my budget, keys in hand. I am sure other Kia dealerships may be nice, but please at all cost avoid this one.

I would give AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial in Orlando zero stars if I could…read more I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership because it was advertised and sold as an AutoNation Certified vehicle with a 90-day/4,000-mile Certified warranty. I also purchased AutoNation's extended warranty because I believed AutoNation stood behind the vehicles it sells. Almost immediately after buying the Jeep, it began having intermittent starting issues. We mentioned concerns about how it drove, but we were assured everything was fine. Then, only about a month after purchase, the Jeep completely lost all electrical power while I was driving, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road at night. It had to be towed. The diagnosis was that the Jeep's primary control module (the vehicle's computer or "brain") had failed. This wasn't a flat tire or normal maintenance item--it was a major electrical failure on a vehicle that had just been sold as "Certified." What disappointed me even more was the response from the selling dealership. When I called AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial hoping they would stand behind the vehicle they had certified, I was essentially told they weren't going to do anything and wished "good luck." What's the point of paying extra for a Certified vehicle if the dealer refuses to take responsibility when a serious problem appears almost immediately after the sale? I expected AutoNation to stand behind its Certified program. Instead, I was left stranded, bounced between dealerships, dealing with delays, confusion over warranty coverage, and a complete lack of concern from the dealership that sold me the vehicle. I hope AutoNation Corporate steps in and makes this right, because my experience with AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial has completely destroyed my confidence in both the dealership and the AutoNation Certified program.

I have loved Corvettes for more than 20 years. I've followed every generation, every spec change, and every color drop. I've waited patiently for the right time to buy my own, and this year felt like the perfect moment. I was especially excited to see Riptide Blue, a new color for 2024. I've always loved Rapid Blue but wanted to compare them in person before making a final decision. When the salesperson approached us, I explained I was there to look at Corvettes and specifically wanted to see Riptide Blue. He pointed to a car on the floor and insisted that was it. I knew it was not Riptide -- I've been following every update -- but he seemed annoyed that I questioned him. Only after I pressed did he check the system. Sure enough, I was right. No apology. No acknowledgment. Just more coldness. He eventually brought the correct car up and said, "You can look inside," without a smile or any enthusiasm. I asked if we could test drive it, and he replied, "We don't do test drives on new Vettes," then disappeared -- no chance to ask questions, no follow-up, no effort to continue the conversation. As we walked away, he asked, "You good?" like we were wasting his time. What he never realized is that we came as serious buyers. This was not just a casual visit -- this was a lifelong dream and a birthday gift from my husband. Instead, we were profiled based on our age and dismissed, as if we could not possibly afford a Corvette. We walked in excited. We walked out hurt, frustrated, and disappointed. This salesperson failed both the Chevrolet brand and the legacy of the Corvette. He turned what should have been a joyful, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime experience into something I will now always remember with sadness. Do better.
