WOW! I am so thankful that I was able to book these movers with less than a weeks notice. I was doing a long distance move from Birmingham, AL To Columbia, SC. The quotes I received from Competitors were about $2500 more than what I paid here for the same exact services. I was very busy leading up to the day of the move but the office was in constant contact with me making sure they could do whatever I needed to make the process simple and stress free. The day of the more, two workers met my friend in Alabama and after a delay on my part (the key didn't work so the lock had to be cut), they got everything loaded, and hit the road. They arrived at my new location and unloaded and set up everything. Despite the southern heat, their attitudes were pleasant and their work ethic was top notch. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. I would also like to mention that their response to messages was very quick. Horrific moving experience with this company and I had to unfortunately go through it twice. The first time we had several damages to our old and new home. Later on, it was confirmed by other staff of the company that the moving lead uses drugs and was high during the moves. We had to move again unexpectedly and they were the only company available so I gave it another shot which was a huge mistake. The moving crew stood around for hours doing absolutely nothing. They gave a stranger who did not work for the company my address and who showed up during the move. They damaged several more things in the old and new homes. I documented all these things in the provided timeframe and now they are claiming to have not received anything. Do not for any reason use Easy Moves. read more

I truly regret using this company. I relocated from Alabama to Georgia and used this company to move some of my belongings into a pod. Well, the movers that arrived were not prepared to move much of the items they were to move. Because I was in Georgia, my realtor agreed to oversee the move. She called me stating that the guys were cramming things in the pod haphazardly and was certain that many of the items would be damaged as they didn't bring any supplies to wrap or disassemble the items(e.g. Exercise mirror, bowflex treadmill). They were willing to scratch up the paint on my walls bringing the fully assembled gym equipment out of the room because they were not equipped with tools. They finally agreed to go to the office building to get tools to bring back. So, what was to be a three hour move turned into an EIGHT HOUR move. Lastly, my realtor told the head crew member to leave the key in the opened lockbox when they were done with the move. She wasn't able to stay on site for eight hours. The guys agreed to do so. She texted them about 30 minutes after they'd left the house, askin if they'd left the key in the lock box as instructed. The mover stated that he did NOT plave the key in the box but that he'd left the key under the mat on the front porch(below the OPENED lockbox). When she asked why he didn't leave the key in the lockbox, the mover responded, there's nothing we can do about it now, we've left. The next morning the appraiser came to the home and the key was NOT under the mat. So, I had to reschedule my home inspection and pay a locksmith to change my locks. Especially since I still had a zero turn mower(10k), golf cart and other valuables still in my home that my husband was coming back to remove a couple days after they moved the items. I really feel their plan was to come back with the key and remove some of my belongings from the home. Why else would they agree to place the key in a lock box that was already "opened" and located above the mat they claimed they placed the key under. Makes no sense. So, I decided to write a review. Only after trying to reach out to the owner several times about the issue of the key and never receiving a response. I did speak with the Operations manager and he was very nonchalant and rude. My realtor and I were both on the line and he wouldn't allow either of us to speak on the issues. He was very defensive and talked over us the entire time. I ended the call thinking, the most I can hope for is that my equipment in the pod isn't damaged when it arrives to Georgia and to just be grateful I changed my locks before whomever made it back with the key they "wilfully failed" to place in the opened lock box just above the mat they claimed they placed the key under. I truly encourage anyone searching for a moving company to please find another one. Moving is stressful enough. The last thing you need is to work with a company who's unprofessional and lack common decency and respect in servicing their clients. I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone. read more

It's been a month since our move and I did not do the survey when I received it because frankly I was disappointed and a bit upset. I didn't want to let my emotions drive my response. Now that time has passed I want to be very open with you in hopes that the company will " when you know better, do better!" First the entire team was pleasant and professional in their interactions with us. I have no complaints about them as young men and how they treated us. We were quoted ( after Robert came out walked the entire house with me) )$4900.00. It ended up double that and two additional trucks which we find out in the midst of the move late that Friday evening. Also, are due to the lateness of the hour each of the two nights all furniture was not unwrapped- we found some broken glass ( to be expected) and a broken leg on a table. My husband is fixing that himself. However, we were in the house placing, unwrapping and getting settled and didn't discover until Monday that the driveway was damaged and will be over $2000.00 to fix by one of your trucks! Your response to my husband's email was this is not your responsibility and mentioned a company in the Birmingham area for repairs. Well, we're not in the Birmingham area! You have a good staff that I realize do not purposely cause any damage as well as the person that came out and did the initial walkthrough ( made me feel that your company was caring by his attitude). All these people were kind and professional made me comfortable trusting this company. Now after spending approximately $10,000.00 with you to move us now over $2,000.00 to repair damage caused by your truck. We had a fire at our home and had to move out and move back in a few weeks later. Devri and his team were excellent to work with through every step. Devri went above and beyond by helping to arrange for storage when we couldn't get a container delivered in time among other things. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Movers did not come at the agreed upon time, and I had to reach out and call multiple times. Despite being promised that they would come later that day, they never showed up. No one returned my calls. I ended up having to find a new moving company. Customer service was terrible. Do not use this moving company. They were three hours late to arrive to load and then only loaded 1/3 of our belongings. We were promised the beds and necessities would be delivered last night but after the truck ran out of gas, they had to transfer to another truck. After our belongings were still not delivered by midnight, my family and I got two hotels rooms at significant expense. Now it is nearly 24 hours later and our stuff has still not been delivered so it appears our things are either lost or stolen. The company has refused to communicate what the issue is and apparently is so understaffed they can not operate in a professional manner. read more

Buyer Beware!!! I would not recommend Easy Moves for any job. The cost ended up being double the estimated cost and I'm left with a bed missing parts. Two movers arrived, which is what was promised in the estimate. The problem was one of the men was injured when he arrived and was hobbling around causing to load at a snails pace. This move would have taken all night had I not agreed to have a third mover called in. Even with the third mover the move time and cost ended up being double the estimate I was given. I have a hard time believing that that's reasonable or acceptable to anyone. The crew did not have a powered drill and unable to move one of my beds because they couldn't get the bolts on it loose. This was a big inconvenience since I had to return to the sold house the next day to take the bed apart and move it myself. When Easy Moves completed the job they nearly left with all the bolts for our dresser mirror and the screws for our bed slats in the truck with them. Thankfully I was able to catch the driver and any further compounding of the oversight was avoided and I moved on. That night I put the mirror bolts on the dresser and with it being after midnight I readied for bed after a long day. As soon as my wife and I climbed into bed we discovered Easy Moves had not put any of the screws in the bed or re tightened any of the bolts on the rails. The bed was shifting so much with each movement that we slept on the floor to avoid damage to the bed. I couldn't tighten the bolts that night because our tools were boxed up. A bit irritated at this point but surely that's all of the problems and it'll soon just be a forgotten memory. The next day we discovered that boxes clearly labeled which room to go to were left by Easy Moves in the garage. I was left to carry boxes up two flights of stairs, something I paid Easy Moves to do. Please keep in mind that payment was double the estimate ($800-$900 turned into $1600) so that made the fact I was moving boxes myself sting a lot more. The last thing I discovered was my sons bunk bed got the same treatment that my bed got. Except unlike my bed the bunk bed has missing parts and I have no way of properly securing the bed without those missing parts. I notified Easy Moves of all these issues and received no response to felt no other option than to help someone else avoid the same mistake. This company is the worst. I used them to move a safe, and instead of sending experienced movers with a motor dolly and a truck with a liftgate, they sent rookies with an appliance dolly and a truck with a ramp. They quoted me $450-$695 for the job, and before they started I had them call the office to make sure that the job would not run over the top estimate. The call was made, and I was told that the top number was my maximum charge. Since the movers were inexperienced and ill-equipped, the job that should have taken 90 minutes took four hours, and I had to help them. When time comes for the bill, they hand me a bill for $772. I said that I can't pay this, and that I had them confirm the maximum amount so that this would not happen. However, I told them that I would pay $700, would they call their office and see if that was okay. Call was made and office confirmed that $700 was fair. Invoice for $700 was signed and paid. Three days later the incompetent boob of a manager still attempts to run my card for the $72, and that made me incredibly mad. After trying to get in touch with him for three days, I was finally able to, and he proceeded to cuss a blue streak in my ear about "harassing" his secretary who I had been calling that morning to try and get in touch with him. He did call me back and say that he was very sorry for everything and that after reviewing the situation, he did accept that he was completely in the wrong. But still, the idea of someone reaching in my pocket for that $72 after the fact really upsets me, and I would advise you to steer well clear of this business. This was the worst moving experience. They quoted a good rate but that wasn't what we were charged. There were so many items left behind that we had to rent a uhaul and drive 275 miles to get everything they "didnt have room for" and bring back ourselves. Furniture was damaged, some were repaired some were too badly damaged,. Some pieces have NEVER been seen again. Calls & emails ignored. We had even paid for extra insurance coverage. They piled clothes on moving blankets to get to new location then they piled them on beds. They did not attach mirrors we found the hardware laying in the floor or stuck in drawer. read more

They were on time, VERY professional, very careful with everything, and just all around "good people". Whoever Ashley is who works in the office needs to be fired. I used easy moves to move me about two weeks ago, and the movers messed up many of my things, tore the handles off my matress that waanr cheap, pieces broken off new furniture, scratches on my furniture, storing furniture and putting it on concrete and damaging the furniture, holes in walls, oh yeah, let's talk about how they moved my washer and dryer, but they didn't shut the water off, so they flooded my apartment and three others on the main floor. I had a Playstation, my Nikkon camera, important docs,clothes, etc still on the floor and now it's all damaged. I've been calling over a week, sent in the pics that they wanted, and everytime I've called,Ms. Ashley picks up and says she will call me back. We'll it's a week later, i called today and who do you think answered? When I asked when I'd have a resolution, she says " you'll recieve an email by 5" and then hangs up the phone in my face. No, I said nothing rude other than I need a resolution today. Now when I call back, Ashley blocked my phone number. You know how I know. I've called from many other numbers and the call goes through, but when I call from my phone and work number, it says "the call cant be made from my area?" Really? You think she sent the email i was suppose to recieve after 5? Nope! I want all my money back for the move plus the expenses to what was damages due to them beinf irresponsible a d trying to hurry so fast and move and they need to fire ms rude ass Ashley. I will be posting this everywhere until someone with sense calls me and resolves the situation. They will never get my business again and anyone I know won't do business with them. Nice moving crew, but am not pleased with service. Desk was reassemble poorly, couch fabric torn, dining table broken, and other damages. Damage report filed and never repaired. Was quoted 200.00 for a 2 hr move. It took 2 1/2 hours to move to storage. When job was complete the owner tried to charge 500.00 for the move. After conversation I offered him 300.00 for the job the owner then proceeded to threaten me. I went to the police and filed a report. I would not recommend this company. read more

Worst experience I ever had. They broke an expensive dinning room table glass top. I sued them in small claims court and won the case. They have not paid one dime. They advertised as licensed and bonded. Don't believe them or they would have settled this case.
