Fortunately my trips to the laundromat are only about every three months or so. To wash large blankets and throw rugs too big or bulky for my house washer and dryer. Very disappointing, the place was very dirty and so many of the washers and dryers were OUT OF ORDER! Even the washer I chose, because it didn't have an out of order sign was broke. You couldn't feed your quarters because the change receiver was coming apart. I found that out only after I fed a couple of dollars in quarters thatI couldn't retrieve . I traveled from Hampstead to Holly Ridge only afterI had read online that the laundromat was under new ownership and was improved. No one was on sight! Not going back. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! very gross place. Mold everywhere. Most washer and dryers don't work. I washed my clothes and had to wait an additional 30 mins for a dryer to open up because the dryer to washer ration is completely off. You can just tell owners don't care about this place. Laundry facilities were clean but coin machine was broke and there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms.

Here on a Fri afternoon and there is only one other person in here with me. As you can see the prices are a bit high, but the owner seems like a nice guy(called me back when my iphone got me lost) and the facilities are clean enough. There is a bathroom and about 15 washers and 15 dryers. I will be back until I buy my own washer/dryer combo. read more

The place is filthy, dusty and try not to drop clean clothes on the floor cause that would be a waste of washing clothes. I'm lucky I came as early as and no one was here cause 7 out of 12 machines are out of order and as my wash was finishing several people came in and were not happy they had to wait. And the price is tooooo expensive. Thank God I only had to come here today and only cause my washer broke but it will be back running in a couple days. Oh and no laundry attendant either. read more

I had originally given this establishment a bad review but I came back to update. I had a terrible experience my first time here, I hate giving bad reviews as I know sometimes things happen that are out of anyone's control. My first visit here was horrible, I spent what should have been an hour of laundry time turned into 3 because the washer I loaded broke mid cycle and then I found out after 30 minutes of drying that the dryer was shooting cold air. I had contacted who I thought was the business owner only to be told that "the owner doesn't care and won't help you" I have to say I was shocked! BUT I'm glad it happened because I found out that the person I texted was actually the old owner and was upset he had lost his business due to neglect and was speaking negatively about the current owner. The current owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to not only refund me but had a maintenance man out to fix the problem within 10 minutes of me contacting him. He also explained that they're working on fixing everything that the previous owner neglected. Ill definitely be giving this laundromat another chance! read more

This place always has an issue. Out of order machines, etc. It is dirty (don't drop something clean on the floor, it is filthy). Every time I come here, a number of machines are out of order. This time it was 2 washers, 1 dryer and the change machine. You put bills in change machine and nothing comes out. There is a phone number to call the owner. So the owner shows up and gives out quarters to the people waiting for change. But then he says "if you put a bill in the change machine, it will just take your money". Then he leaves. He does not bother to post a sign on the change machine, so anyone coming later in the day will just have their money stolen! How irresponsible. I wish I had pen and paper with me to post a sign myself, but I did not. It's a real shame that this is the only laundromat in this area. read more

Typical laundry mat, dryers run good but occasionally shut off while drying. Occasionally washing machines take your money and soap and don't wash your clothes but mostly wash them good. Bathroom lacks toilet paper, paper towels and soap mostly but will have one or two of the 3 most times. , no snacks or sodas or detergent in the vending machine. Most of the time I get a good wash and dry and hopefully don't have to use the restroom or get thirsty. Good music. read more

What a joke! The first I came to this place which was about a year ago, their quarter machine was broken. Today, I show up and the quarter machines are still broken and the bathroom is out of order. Word of advice to the business owner, it takes money to make money. So it might actually pay if you invest some of the money you make back into your equipment. And it's actually sad because you're the only laundromat closest to Surf City and now I have to drive in the opposite direction to Jacksonville half an hour away. read more

Very disappointed, half the washer didn't work, and a couple of them that did work leaked water from the machine. The dryer I was using stopped in the middle of drying, and stated out of order, after it was running. (And half of the dryers didn't work either). Bathroom had no Toliet paper or anything to dry your hands, and the light didn't work either. Just a poor excuse for a laundromat. read more

If I could rate it ZERO stars I would. Coin machine doesn't work!!! 3 out of 10 washers work. 2 out of 10 dryers work. Figured this out after three of them ate my money! Not to mention the ones that are working aren't drying my clothes. The floors are so nasty! Don't drop anything! DO NOT go here! I would have rather washed my clothes in a bathtub and hung them out to dry! read more

I had been using this place for about 6 months and dealing with the broken machines, dirty atmosphere, etc. But I show up today to do laundry and there's a sign on the door that all gas has been shut off due to risk of fire by the town of holly ridge! Such a waste of a good location!!! This place has a lot if potential but the owners obviously have no desire to.keep the place running!! Guess ill be going to an actual working laundromat in Jacksonville or Wilmington! read more
