Around Sep 1 I sent an email asking for an Update as it had been almost two weeks and I hadn't heard anything - email was ignored. Sep 4 I tried calling the Clayton park location several times and kept getting picked up by the sackville location, the gentleman was very helpful and put through 2 requests for Clayton park to call me - I was not called. I also sent an email that morning that was ignored. Sep 5 I called and got through to the Clayton park location. I was told he was working on my laptop and that he had seen the requests to call me yesterday and had tried calling me back (did not leave a message) I was told he would call me by the end of the day with an update. I was not called. Sep 6? I called and the employee told me my charging port was fixed but the laptop won't turn on and there may be an issue with the motherboard, and that it would have to be sent to someone and I would need to pay extra. I explained that there shouldn't be anything wrong with the motherboard, I had disconnected several parts of the computer and didn't put them together properly so the issue should just be connecting everything properly. He said he would take another look at it and call me at the end of day. He said he couldn't figure it out but someone else would look at it Monday, and that I would get a call. Sep 10 it's now Wednesday and I have not heard anything, I tried calling and a request was put through by the sackville location to call me. When I didn't hear anything I got through to the sackville location again who said he put another request through. I did not get a call until the next day. I feel as though my laptop was not touched for the first two weeks until I called, and then I have been given the runaround and have had zero communication from geebo through all of this. I picked up my laptop and brought it elsewhere, and it was confirmed that my motherboard was fried. it was working fine until i disconnected it and brought it to geebo. I will not be back nor would I ever recommend geebo.

I understand that delays can happen, especially with large items. However, a one month change immediately after purchase feels misleading, particularly when the earlier date influenced my decision to buy over other retailers. I contacted customer service and the experience was disappointing. Rather than acknowledging the concern, the response focused entirely on the fact that the date was "estimated." There was no recognition of how a significant overnight change could feel misleading and impact a customer's expectations and experience, and no options were offered, such as a discount, delivery accommodation, or any form of goodwill. Their responses felt defensive rather than solution oriented. A simple acknowledgment of the situation would have gone a long way. Customers should be aware that estimated delivery dates shown at purchase may not reflect actual availability, and delays of up to a month are possible even immediately after ordering.
