They've also been the same with my Pool. They are the best company to deal with. I can see why they're very busy.

Worst customer service company. Bought a heat pump from them and they wouldn't service it. It was…read morea problem with the pipes, not the refrigerant, so McBurney should have fixed the product they sold and installed. When they installed the heat pump, they didn't put in a shut off to bypass the heat pump when starting up for the season ( not supposed to run the pump until you get chemicals/ph balanced), or if repairs needed. Lack of a shut off/bypass can lead to damage to the heat pump - which they will then not service. When pool turned green one summer I made many trips to their shop where they sold me many expensive chemicals that did not work. Finally contacted another company who said the sand in the filter simply needed to be changed. Pool was crystal clear after new sand - shouldn't McBurney have known to do this first before having me spend hundreds of dollars on useless chemicals?? We went back to the shop numerous times and were just sold more useless, expensive chemicals each time. There was never a mention of changing the sand in the filter.

I don't recommend CGC. I expect this is done to discourage people from actually seeking a refund, and seems like an incredibly outdated practice. It's what happens when you lose a lot of weight and actually come to realize you like doing crazy things like run marathons, complete triathlons and lift heavy stuff. As a newer member to CGC I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the set up. The cost is reasonable too at about $50/month for a year membership. I haven't taken any classes so I can't vouch for that portion of the gym but I do hang out upstairs in the cardio room quite a bit and so far so good. They tell me it's not too busy during the morning/day. As of yet I've never had to wait for a treadmill. When it is feeling a little "packed" I'll go run laps on the indoor track. It's a great way to get in some nice cross training in between some push ups or perfecting the pull-up. My favorite part about CGC is the pool(s). Olympic standard size and as of yet never too busy to not get a lane. Instead of chloride as standard chemical cleaner they use bromide (much gentler on the skin). Locker rooms (both wet and dry options) are spacious. Lockers themselves are big for that over stuffed gym bag. Showers are kind of funky but once you get the hang of them they're not too bad. And while I don't frequent Subway, it's very convenient to be able to grab a little nosh on the way out.

I am writing to share a frustrating experience I had with the customer service at your Halifax…read moreBayers Lake location, which has left me feeling disregarded and disheartened. In late July, I purchased a 16 cu. ft. Vissani deep freeze from the Bayers Lake store. Unfortunately, by mid-October, the freezer stopped working, and I lost all of its contents. I tried various solutions but couldn't get it working, so I sought warranty assistance. However, I couldn't find my receipt, which I needed for the repair. Initially, I contacted customer care via telephone, and the representative assured me that my receipt could be retrieved at the Bayers Lake store. On October 28, I went to the store, providing a three-day purchase window, the exact sales amount, and the model information, hoping they could locate the purchase. I was informed, however, that since it was a cash purchase, no record could be found, and no one offered assistance in locating it, despite the details I provided. I requested to speak with Assistant Manager Lyt Adams, who offered a full refund if I returned the freezer, though all I wanted was a working freezer. Initially, all I was looking for was my receipt so I could go through the warranty process and have my freezer repaired or replaced. However, I accepted this solution and was given paperwork to return within the week with the freezer. On October 30, I returned to the store with the freezer and paperwork, only to be told by a different associate that I could not receive a cash refund, only store credit. The associate's attitude made me feel as though I was doing something wrong, and it was made clear that store credit was my only option. Reluctantly, I accepted the store credit. On November 7, I found my original receipt and returned to the store, expecting that I could now receive a refund instead of store credit. I spoke again with Assistant Manager Lyt Adams, who said he would escalate the matter to Store Manager Ashley White and assured me that I would hear back from her. The next day, however, I received no call from Ms. White. Instead, Mr. Adams called me later that evening to inform me that there was nothing they could do, and the first thing he pointed out was that I was now past the 90-day return period. However, when I initially visited the store and spoke with Mr. Adams, I was within the 90-day period, so this feels especially frustrating. Throughout this process, all I wanted was a working freezer. I would be more than willing to purchase a replacement freezer from Home Depot, but there are no comparable models available in size, price, or immediate availability. I am disappointed that no one assisted me in locating the receipt initially, nor did anyone attempt to find an alternative solution to the product failure. Instead, I was left with store credit and no suitable replacement options in stock. This experience has left me questioning Home Depot's commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to improve service for future customers.

I went into this particular location last week because I was looking for taps for my kitchen sink. I found the staff to be rude and not helpful. I didn't really know what I was looking for and nobody asked me if I needed help. I found the kitchen tap isle, but walked out without purchasing anything. Before I went to Home Depot, I went to Rona for an idea on the prices. After glancing at the selection and prices at Home Depot, I decided to go back to Rona!
