They double charge, continuously mess up orders and hope you don't notice, even when your account is either paused or canceled they still charge you, even after you reach out to management and remind them that you have either paused or canceled your account they still bill you. The entire management "team" is horribly incompetent. I can't tell you how many times I have disputed charges from this company, but the last straw was when I discovered a large green stink bug buried in the couscous of one of their teriyaki steak meals. Complete health code violation, I had to report them to the LA Board of Health. With every delivery, I've had a couple of the containers that do not completely close. Meaning, it's not airtight, and therefore the food will not last as long. I have told them about this issue multiple times. Also, almost every week, several of the containers are leaking inside the box, which raises concerns about how hygienic the food is, and this may also be due to the plastic containers that don't completely close, or stay completely sealed. I've had issues where the spaghetti barely has any sauce at all, just basically noodles. I've had delivery issues over the years. They delivered someone else's meals to me one week. The flavors and textures are very nice for pre cooked meals (not over cooked/taste stale or soggy, even the shrimp I ate 3 days after still tasted pretty fresh). At first sight, I was pleased with the hefty portion of food they packed into the small container. However, the brown rice was crunchy and the zucchini was so bland. Honestly the food is good but the price is not. It's pretty expensive for a meal prep place even with their first order discount or subscribe meal price. I have kept asking them for the nutritional facts on here and via text and still have not gotten back to me. Their website is really high tech and easy to use when ordering. It's really missing nutritional facts especially when this is aimed for fitness people. They told me roughly each meal is 400-500 calories. I have ordered food from this place a few times and I am very satisfied with the service. First, they offer the option to do a curb side pick up of the food. I love this and since I live about 15 minutes away, it is not a hassle. Also, this saves me a little money since the they charge to deliver. Second, the ordering process is easy. You order on their website. You can get the personalized meal preps where you pick the protein, starch, and veg options. If you are low carb, you can chose double veg with protein which I recommend. They also have keto, paleo, and vegan options. I found that those options were not as personalized so I like the first option more. I do wish they offered tofu for the personalized meal options, but maybe that will come later. Third, they text you when your order is ready. Lastly, it works out to be about 12 dollars a meal for the personalized meals. Vegan meals cost more. For the convenience, I think it's totally worth it. Another thing I like is that they allow you to buy the food on a weekly basis with no contract or agreement. Every other service insists that you buy a 30 day plan; they let you have a more flexible option which I really appreciate. Just to be clear, if you buy the monthly plan, it is cheaper. I had to order delivery to my mothers house in Altadena since I am in Lancaster. Which is outside of their delivery services. Really hoping their business is able to expand and make other Eat Naked LA locations so they can deliver outside of LA :) So my first impression of the food being delivered is it came in a plain cardboard box. Not a big deal just would seem more presentable in a box with their logo on it. Also the box didn't come with any ice packs to keep the food cool. To be fair the drive for driver was likely only about 35mins or so. However, if I wasn't home at the time and they left it on the porch it wouldn't have anything keeping it cool. Upon opening the box the food looks great! It is definitely small yet reasonable portions. There is absolutely NO NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION on the food containers. For someone that calorie counts and just would like to know what I am eating exactly, it's very disappointing. So far I have eaten 2 meals of the 10 I ordered. They taste really good! I also ended up with two of those because they were out of tofu that week which I wouldn't have known had I not asked the lady to go over the order with me to ensure it was correct since they do not label the servings. The stir fry was really good too, I had one chicken and one steak. I also had a dinner meal of shrimp and mixed vegetables but that why bad (not their fault) so I didn't eat it, if you order seafood, I'd advise you to eat it ASAP. Wow. I really wanted to like this place but they made it literally impossible. The only order that was fine was the first order we placed. After that there was something wrong EVERY time with our order and we never got anything for all the mistakes they made, not even a 10% off coupon for our next order SMH - and we ordered from there for over a month straight every week. Now during the weeks when we would actually order and pick out our meals, THEY WOULD GET EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WRONG! Every time!!! I will upload my doctor notes shortly. My friend and I got food poisoning after we ate from them in the lunch and dinner in the same day we picked it. My advice is to give them a visit to see in your own eyes their location in N. Hollywood. This is my review in points: 1) Go and check them first. Their place need attention from the health department. Smelly, no sanitation, you can see they prepare the food in the boxes in open air that is not decent or even clean. I'd rather eat pasta from my near Italian joint than yours since the amount of oil coming outside the box is even more than them. 4) Not professional: tried to ask them about nutrition. Then I contacted them about my food poisoning. No nothing from their sides at all. 5) They say in their ads that their food are Delicious and flavorful. Yeah it wasn't and absolutely there isn't any dime single touch of flavor: plain mash, plain rice, ultra plain (not even cooked well) greens and veggies.
