Super busy, but great food and dessert menu. The salad bar items looked fresh. I ordered the pot roast special with a side of broccoli. I didn't expect it to come in a sandwich covered with gravy, but there you go. It was delicious and I ate every bite. Took a cold brew chocolate milkshake and one of their famous grilled stickies to go. So good!

Traveling across the country from NY and never heard of Eat'n Park. So my dad and I stopped here for breakfast. It was pretty good! The waitress was super nice and the coffee was not bad! I got the veggie omelette and it was good. My only complaint was it came out not as hot as I would have liked. It's also nice they have gluten friendly menu items as I have a gluten allergy. A gluten free roll is 75 cents extra which to be honest isn't bad. Most places charge at least a $2 up charge. For two big breakfasts the total was $20.32. Not bad at all.

This restaurants a mix between soup&salad and IHOP. They have a pretty decently fresh all-you-can-eat salad and soup bar for $8/person. More importantly for me, the salad bars open until 10, which is awesome considering most later night food options are greasy or fast food. If you don't want salad, you can order off the menu that has all the normal American food that diners usually have. We came here on vacation and they were super friendly, contrary to other reviews. Maybe we just looked super touristy-esque? It more probably depended on the server we had, as is the case with any restaurant. (Thanks Gloria!). All in all, it's probably closer to 3 stars but the service for me added that .5 stars it needed to make it a 4 star.

Yay! Unfortunately, when we arrived, the last Bean Burger had been sold and the black beans listed as a side were actually cooked in some heavy butter... so it became one of those stops where only French fries were the hot vegan option... because who wants a cold salad when it's 20°F?! In any case, the server was very nice about it and the Craft Beer was still vegan, and because we called ahead about the vegan burger option, they even comped the fries for running out. So- disappointed it wasn't as hearty as we hoped for a vegan on our arrival- but very kind to apologize with comped fries. For those who weren't vegan- the French Dip on ciabatta was on special and sooooo good. I don't like horseradish and it didn't overwhelm the flavor, so it was absolutely perfect! The pulled pork melt with crispy fried onions and bbq sauce was also excellent with a very crunchy buttered thick Texas toast bread. Excellent food when it's available- and hoping for a few more vegan options because Pennsylvania towns are a bit of slim pickings if you don't want to eat animal products!

I ate the nachos. This is not a one person meal, they are very large. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very prompt and personable. My wife, who's Italian, wants to take this +1 hour trip several times a year just to come here because it reminds her of the various "Mom & Pop" restaurants of her hometown in northeast PA. It sits in downtown DuBois with plenty of parking options nearby. The restaurant is good sized but it also does a lot of business so plan ahead on the weekends. The inside has a cozy/hometown feel with pictures of their family all over the walls. I don't think much has changed to the interior in those 20 years and that's okay by me. For this outing we opted for the antipasta salad, Italian wedding soup, veal parm and stuffed manicotti. Their dishes are more traditional italian (i.e. not olive garden) and they offer lunch, half, or full-sized portions. Their gravy has a good balance between sweet and savory. They also make a great fresh baked loaf of bread and they're happy to bring several to the table throughout the course. It was a special occasion so we closed out the night with their famous strawberry cheesecake. Service was excellent and the bill, with several drinks, was around $60 for 2. This is not a chain; it has character, it's not polished but it's a true gem of spot in rural PA. I'm glad places like this still exist!
