Hello there, I'm a quiet person that never hits "like" on anything, and keeps a very private internet presence. It is only because I have accomplished a very big thing, a life dream I had pretty much given up on that I am speaking up to write this note to you. Any agent can list your home or walk you through the process of buying a home, but the real question you have got to ask yourself - Do you trust them? Does the agent have your best interest at heart or are they only looking for the commission? The best option is to have agents on your side and for us it was Brad and Michelle. They are ultimate professionals, the most knowledgeable and hardest working agents that I have ever met. Most important point is that they save or made us money. This has been endlessly demonstrated on four different occasion in past three years. Brad knows the market; his posturing of another agent was right on point which saved us money when buying three home and never left any money on the table when we sold our investment house. Our first dealing with Brad and Michelle - November 2016 We were in the process of returning to the states from an oversea assignment of 10 years. We found out that in Portland most real estate offices don't work on weekends, so we drove around and looked at any home that was available for viewing. We walked into Brad's open house and knew this home was going to fit our needs. With foreign income we were going to need a financial specialist who could work the deal fast and with a timeline of a 45 days escrow. Brad and Michelle had the right connections. Their dedication to ensure all the process steps were met on time were flawless. When someone was dragging on an issue, Michelle was all over it. Brad and Michelle worked, and we closed escrow Dec 31st. Remember sometimes it is the little things that matter the most: I purchased a surprise gift (piano) for my wife while I was still overseas. Second Deal - Purchasing Investment property - Brad knew our needs and his analysis of the property reflected that this house had the necessary potential and assisted with the offer that beat out other investors. Brad team also arranged for additional financing for this project. Third Deal - Selling the Investment property - During the renovations of the property Brad identified some flaws and corrected them himself. This was not his responsibility, but he put his own skin in the game and that is not something a normal agent would do. Upon completion of the renovations, Brad pulled another price comparison and set the price above the average price and we received an offer above our asking price. Again, Brad and Michelle ensured that by using their team of professionals, they saved us money and time and the deal closed on schedule. Fourth Deal - Buying our current home - Details of the desired home were given, and Brad identified this house and did the first walk through to ensure it met our requirements. Most agents would leave that for the buyer to select the homes and I honestly never met an agent that did the walk through first. The home was perfect for our needs. Brad reviewed the market to confirm the actual pricing and confirmed that the house was priced below market. The other agent wanted to use their escrow office, however Brad insisted on using his team - He postured the agent that I was one of his investors and since we offered the asking price that I would only deal with a team that meet my needs. The other agent back down. The house inspection showed a lot of findings that when added up it would break the deal. Brad navigated through the negotiations and the seller offered a 10k towards fees and 10k towards replacement of the roof. That was the power of Brad. Michelle ensured that the escrow and remaining items all closed on time. Brad connections also got us a great deal on the roofing and save another 6k. While chatting with Brad a while back we informed him that we were getting married in about 5 months. We still hadn't secured a caterer yet, and Brad asked us if we would like to save some money.
