Chuck provided one set of prices over the phone, then presented higher pricing in person, explaining that nearly everything was an additional add-on -- including the patios, kitchen, and essentially any usable part of the space. None of this was clearly disclosed during the initial conversation, making the initial quote misleading. On top of that, the interaction quickly turned into constant upselling, with additional features repeatedly pushed as "necessary," driving the price far beyond what was originally discussed. What appeared to be a base rate was effectively meaningless due to excessive add-ons. When we questioned the discrepancies and escalating costs, he stated he needed approval from his boss and promised to call us back. He never did. We then had to call Chuck THREE separate times, only to be told repeatedly that the owner was "not available." There was no follow-up or resolution from Chuck, just repeated excuses and clear avoidance. The final and most disrespectful interaction occurred when we called again and, after clearly realizing it was us, Chuck said "I've got a call on the other line," promised to call back, and once again never did. Even for the scheduled in-person meeting, he was nowhere to be found, requiring us to search for him on-site. The blatant disregard for potential clients was shocking to say the least. I strongly advise anyone considering this venue to take their business elsewhere.

There aren't too many rooms/sections out there (good for less than 150 people, perhaps), but there are selections of rooms for seminars/classrooms, reception areas both indoors and outdoors, etc. I was surprised to know that this place existed because it seemed like a residential areas off of Tramway Pl (but you also get a good view of a city along your drive there!). The only thing that was a minus was that there weren't too many parking spots (less than 50-60 cars perhaps), so some of us had to park outside along the street/road leading to the venue's entrance. But that was just a nuisance...there were plenty of space (and free) parking to park inside/along the street (and luckily, the street wasn't busy with road traffic at all).

Leading up to the event, she was responsive and patient with all our planning changes and communication. With her menu, she accommodated our group's dietary restrictions, and was super flexible with all of our requests. Every single bite of her food was out of this world, and she was just an incredibly delightful and sweet person. I was looking for an experience, while in the Santa Fe area, for my children to have time with horses. Many options are solely for riding and didn't allow for children as young as mine. My 3.5 year old and 6 year old were able to learn about horses and safety (I learned so much too!), paint a horse, ride a horse, and see a horse in action with different gates and Ms Vivi directing. My 6 year old boy marches to the beat of his own drum, is very active, and can get distracted easily. She was patient with him when he had his own ideas, when he wanted to chase lizards, or run off to look for her dogs; she redirected him, respectfully, explained the safety reasons he needed to be calm and also for him to respect my daughter's turn and time. My daughter was scared to ride and Genevieve calmly and patiently encouraged her with steps to achieve riding... first to pet the horse while being held, then to pet while standing on the step, then just sit on the horse, then ride 3 steps, then 5, then ride to a song. My kids have been acting like and talking about horses all day since. Additionally, we were a little over 10 minutes late-- we paid for 2 hours of her time and she provided even more. Grateful for the experience.
