Juan's communication throughout the entire process was excellent, he came day before scheduled job to set up and lay cloth tarps over floors and covered our staircase entirely. His crew was right on time the day of drywall repairs - they spent the entire day plus a little more repairing all the major cracks, nail pops, trim work. The paint crew was the same - arriving on time , being careful about safety, cleanliness and our children (we have two toddlers that were here during the process) Juan engaged in personal conversation, making us feel comfortable and was very friendly - same with the crew that he has. The project was completed and cleaned up in two days and it was A LOT of work. We had other quotes and we felt that Juan was very honest, competitively / fairly priced and again had excellent communication ensuring all his customers are happy. I thought their estimate for the work at my fourplex was fair because it was a huge job. I had them paint the exterior of the building which has four townhomes and also the decks of the fourplex. Friday even moved furniture off the decks because I wasn't given prior notice that he was coming early to give my tenants the heads up to remove their items. Freddy also repaired loose boards and replaced ones that were rotting. I was very satisfied with this company and their communication. I asked Freddy for a second quote on two more properties that I needed just trimwork repainted. However, I didn't feel their pricing was fair, compared to the other quotes I was receiving. I did end up contracting with my former painter on this job because his estimate was significantly less. Freddy was paid $2700 for the decks at my fourplex, but he wanted $4000 for trimwork on the current job. That wasn't working for me. I would try Freddy Painting again in the future to see if his quote would be fair like the first job. He did good work.

Johnny's company came from a highly trusted recommendation. The first appointment to discuss my…read morelaundry room project, he totally forgot and didn't show up. I called him to see if he needed to reschedule. The next day, he was over 2 hours late. He kept texting he was on his way. We gave him our budget, he assured us we weren't even close. He provided a written quote which covered everything they would do. There were certain items we were responsible to purchase and things he would cover under the contract. One thing that I just can't get over. I purchased a barn door @ 50" wide and informed him we would need at least a 100" long track to accommodate the door. Johnny said he would purchase the track. They installed a 72" track and he said it was the longest one Home Depot had. There is now no access to mechanicals behind it without removing the door. He refuses to correct the failure unless I buy the track and pay for the labor to install the new one! He sent a crew everyday without supervision, stating he didn't need to babysit his guys. They clearly didn't understand the daily work details. In order for my husband and I to be able to communicate, we had to download a translator app. I'm not saying anything negative about his work force, but when a certain language is only spoken in the customer's home, you should provide at least one person who can speak and understand that language. No communication. The only time Johnny showed up to review the work was when I requested him and when he was due to pick up his check! They hung my Ikea cabinets "their" way. Ikea cabinets aren't ordinary cabinets and must be installed using the provided hardware. There were hands full of left over parts! He told my husband I would never know they didn't hang them the way I wanted them hung. This whole experience was very disappointing. He told me in one conversation that this project was a simple one and shouldn't have taken three weeks to "complete". I feel he tried to rush through it for a quick buck. He said he did a lot of extra work for us, but what the extra work was was correcting mistakes his crew made. I will never even mention OnPoint Creations if someone asks for a recommendation. There are more things I could talk about, but this is long enough and the picture has been painted. This is one of the most poorly run operations I've ever worked with. Don't waste your time with this guy!
