When I asked to stop at a spot for a photo she said "that's nice but I know a better place, I have my regular spots" I understand that there are factors like lighting to consider but it would be nice to humor the customer at least a bit. The photos turned out terrible and despite paying $300 they were unusable. I had my boyfriend take my senior pictures and they turned out better.

I have been holding my head a little higher in the days since my shoot, what a confidence boost!!! It was just what I needed and more than I could have ever imagined. It's known to some that I had an eating disorder and body dysmorphia 30 something years ago, for which I sought treatment (back in the day when it wasn't really a positive thing to do so.) The birth of my children made things easier for me to accept myself the way I was and I have kept my negative behaviors in check because of my children, but in the last year or so I could feel my mind obsessing about my flaws and my size, which has been getting increasingly larger due to many health conditions and the inability to work out in any form, including walking. I was browsing Facebook one day and saw a photo shoot that Allie had done and decided it was finally time, even at my heaviest, I thought this would be a good reason to work on my health, I now had a goal. I was so nervous!!! This was so not me, so far out of my comfort zone, but I did it, I booked my session for my 52nd birthday. I didn't actually lose the weight I had hoped to and considered canceling multiple times, but something kept telling me to just do it!!! And I am so glad I did!!! I have never felt more beautiful and confident in my whole life!!! Allie is amazing to work with and talks you through every step. The photos she took really capture the true me!!! There were genuine smiles and real laughs in some of the photos and those were my favorites, they were so real!!! Allie is such a talented photographer!!! She was able to capture the best parts of ME!!! I could go on for days, but basically the bottom line is YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! I have many times that I would consider to be the "best days of my life", like the birth of my children and grandchildren, my wedding day, the day I survived my accident, etc, and this day with Allie rates up there with them, it was the day I discovered myself and saw myself through Allie's lens, it was the day that my confidence grew by leaps and bounds, and it was the day that I felt my most confident and beautiful!!!

Brooke is amazing!! We hired her for our wedding day and could not be happier that we did. Our…read morephotos came out better than I could have imagined and she got them to us in exactly ONE week from our wedding! I've never even heard of such a thing, it was lightning fast. We did not want to do an engagement shoot and I told Brooke this the first time we talked on the phone. She said that was fine, although I was nervous because I have read that enagagement shoots are the time you and your photographer bond and get to know each other's style, and especially for the couple to be comfortable being photographed before the wedding day. It was never even an issue. Brooke makes you feel so at ease, it's like she wasn't even there. Some of the shots she captured, I'm surprised it's even me! She is so talented. She brought along her second shooter, Allison, who was also phenomenal and she was very fun and great to work with. We absolutely loved that feeling. We obviously got to know who Brooke was during that first meeting but what we really loved was that she took the time to get to really know who we were. Not only as a couple but as individuals. Once Jessica and I gave Brooke the good news that we wanted her as our photographer, it wasn't a clients/photographer relationship, it was a friendship. And it has been that way ever since. We entrusted Brooke with all creativity when it came to our engagement photos. When we saw how good they came out we just knew our wedding photos were going to be phenomenal! And boy, I mean girl were they. But first let me tell you how on point not only Brooke was on the day of our wedding but also her assistant/second shooter Allison. Everywhere I turned or looked, either Brooke or Allison was there capturing every moment of our incredibly amazing and special day. When Jessica and I saw just the sneak peek of photos we were overjoyed. She was able to capture a photo of us with both of our dogs, which is now our family photo. When sat down and looked at all of our wedding photos we were blown away by how beautiful they were and how many photos they captured throughout the evening. While the location was beautiful, it would have been nothing without Seth's eye for light, angles and positioning. They were such an easy going, and might I add, hilarious couple to work with. They had us genuinely laughing which made for some really beautiful candid shots. Their love for photography in addition to each other is evident by the way they speak to one another and bounce ideas off each other to find just the right shot. To say that they are talented and easy to work with would hardly be enough. They are WONDERFUL. Seth even went above and beyond and sent me a sneak peak the very next day after the photo shoot.
