Nobody likes to call someone to have an appliance repaired. But when you call Aldo with Ebenezer Appliance Repair, you can rest assured that the painful process will be as easy as possible. I reached out via Yelp for a quote to come look at a dishwasher that would no longer drain. Within an hour or two, there was a detailed response that suggested a few things to check on my own-attempting to save me a visit, as well as a quote and a timeframe when someone could be there. I went ahead and scheduled the visit, since the few things I'd tried on my own didn't resolve the issue. Aldo communicated with me and arrived just as expected. He was professional and thorough in his inspection of the problem and explained what was wrong. He gave me the option to have the dishwasher fixed-but it would cost nearly as much as a new one due to the rarity of the old parts, or to just replace it. I called Ebenezer Appliance on a Friday afternoon, asking that someone provide maintenance and any needed repairs on my 27 year old Maytag washer and dryer. Aldo returned my call a few minutes later, and arranged to come to my home in Holladay the following Tuesday afternoon. Aldo arrived during the two hour window we'd agreed to and inspected the appliances. He showed me why the belts needed to be replaced on both the washer and dryer (dried out and cracked), which came as no surprise since they were 27 years old! After testing several things on the washer, he said everything was working fine. However, he showed me several parts on the dryer that needed to be replaced since they were so worn. He reviewed the charges and they seemed very reasonable - and quickly installed the new parts. It is a relief to know that the maintenance and repairs Aldo provided will allow me to continue using these appliances for years to come. Worth every penny. Wow. Our 4-year-old GE dryer went out 3:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon, I'm hoping/praying/skeptical I can get it fixed before the weekend. Aldo answers his phone quickly, and says he's heading for a job in Sugarhouse but can look at it after that. Shows up at 5:15 (they close at 5pm) and by 6:05 he's done! He cleaned up after himself, dryer runs like a champ and the work has a 30 day warranty! We needed an appliance repair person and to my surprise Ebenezer Appliance picked up my call and said he could leave within 5 minutes. A refrigerator and stove were checked. The tech recommended that I order a new stove as the price to fix it would be nearly $400. A new switch alone would be over $200. The tech is able to repair the refrigerator at a reasonable price. Saved us from having to purchase a new refrigerator. As a housing provider of multiple units it is important to have reliable vendors. I'm very happy with the service that was provided.
