He was thorough in explaining the problem. He was fully booked but made time to examine and then squeezed me in to fix it two days later instead of waiting over the weekend. Whew! He arrived, took it apart, then left saying he had an idea that he thought he could try that he'd been having great success with. He went to get what he needed, came back and got to work again. The idea paid off....making the repair bill go from $350 down to $218. We will definitely call him again if needed! Honest and diligent. A few days later, we noticed the ice maker still wasn't producing ice, so we called them back. The same technician returned, took another look, and determined there was a separate issue. Unfortunately, the necessary part was discontinued, and repairing it would have cost more than it was worth. He was upfront about that and even offered a refund for the part he had already replaced for the ice maker. Going into this, we expected the repair to cost a fortune and thought we might need to replace the fridge altogether. Thankfully, the repair ended up being very reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated the honesty and professionalism. We had them come out to fix our fridge because it was making a weird noise and also they were coming out we decided to have them look at our ice maker. The guy that showed up looked like he was fresh out of high school and looked like he wouldn't know what he was doing, turns out he's been doing it for 20+. Keep in mind the part was $18 and he was there for about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix the dishwasher, even after I was responsible for ordering the replacement part myself. When the repair still did not work, they agreed to only refund $80 of the $362, despite not resolving the issue. Instead, the only solution they offered was to install a brand-new dishwasher, which was not helpful. I am fine paying some money for their time and I was hoping for a fair solution. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the outcome and the lack of accountability when the repair was unsuccessful. I know there are more honest upfront guys out there who are not going to charge you a crazy amount when they can't fix the exact thing you paid them to do. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Sure enough, when he arrived, he quickly determined that he would not be able to resolve my issue. In hindsight, it would have been very helpful if he would have asked the model number of my fridge on the call to determine for sure if it was something that could not be fixed before we scheduled the visit. To be completely fair, Mike was upfront and transparent about everything from the beginning. I scheduled the visit knowing full well that there was a good chance he was going to tell me that he couldn't fix my issue and that there is a charge for the visit. It broke down one week after I bought it and because they are right around the corner from me I walked in their shop and told the receptionist what happened and she told me to call whirlpool. I said that their door said sales and service and she argued that they had no service men and to call whirlpool I told her to take care of it because I had just purchased the refrigerator. The argument went on until the guy that sold it to me walked in. I told him what was happening and he understood the problem and would send a service man out as soon as he could, probably a couple of days. The service man came and replaced the computer and all was well. The refrigerator has worked ever since. The receptionist made me so angry at the time for her bad attitude I will not recommend this business to anyone in fact I will and have told friends the story of her not taking responsibility for their products that they sell and service. Love my fridge hate the receptionist.
