I started exploring the neighborhood and looking for a baby gift. I was curious so I stopped by. This place is overwhelming but they have great customer service. I didn't know that my non fancy baby bib was $16 until it was rang! I better have a good luck on this bib since it's pricey for 1 item. Downside: Parking can be limited, the store doesn't open on time and some items are pricey. Note: look at the price and make sure it worth buying. Call before coming.

Ebenezer's always welcomes me in, they have so many books, I like stopping by just to walk around and see what is new. I love talking about this place and I'm grateful this place is around for us to seek and find within those walls. If they don't have it, they will order it. Grateful for this family.

Went looking for a Bible for my friend. Stood there while a worker helped a family. After he was done he didn't offer to help or even ask me anything. So I bought a Bible and had a name put ion it. Go home and open it and the paper is so thin you can't even read it cause the words from the next page are see through. I wish the guy would've helped me and offered to recommended something. read more

Great store with friendly service. Good selection of bibles in English and Spanish. Good gift selection and decorations as well. The store is clean and everything well organized. I'm happy we now have an Ebenezer closer to us in Downey. In the past, we've had to go to the Ebenezer in LA, in HP and this one in Whittier is much closer. Will be visiting more often. read more

Found this place on Yelp because I was trying to find a Christian gift store to buy some cute gifts for my sister-in-law, since she's very religious. I found some great gifts for her!! The lady that was working there was super sweet and also helped me pick out a few things. My sister-in-law is also a teacher and found some other great gifts to buy her. Overall they have a great selection, especially since there are not a lot of Christian gift shops nearby. Would definitely go back again. read more

This place is somewhat far from my house and let me tell you it was worth the drive. In fact, I will be visiting this store many more times in the future! They have so many great things in this store to share, expand, and express your faith! I'm talking hats, shirts, books, rings, bracelets, and much more. This store is quite large and has a huge variety in different items you may be looking for in the name of God. The best part is there is so many bibles! There are many versions, languages, and many styles of the Holy Bible. They provide engraving services as well just to give your Bible a nice personal touch and looks amazing! Unfortunately, my experience this past December left me with a bad impression. I stopped in to buy Christmas gifts and while I was being helped by the employee at the register, I asked if they happened to have small handouts explaining the properties of a few crystals that came from the glass shelves. They weren't sure, so they asked the older employee/manager standing nearby. His response was rude. He came over and said they would have to print one out and didn't have time to do that. I wasn't expecting anyone to go out of their way to print something--I was just asking in case they had copies available at the front. A polite "no, we don't" would have been fine. Instead, the sharp tone was embarrassing, especially since it happened in front of other customers, the employee helping me, and my partner.
