I have a $40k receipt and horrible installation job to prove I was a customer. Another one star review was removed, they make the customer sign an agreement to remove bad social media posts in order to get some money off the bill for damage they cause to your home during installation, when it shouldn't happen to begin with. I wish we listened to that review before it was removed and stayed away. They seem nice enough when you start a project but as soon as they have your money it's like pulling teeth to accomplish the job. Months of no shows, no answering calls, incomplete or wrong ordering, no reply to emails. I took days off of work because they say they will come and they don't show up!! The apathetic owners don't speak with the workers who schedule appointments to complete work and don't show up. When they do show up, they treat your home as if it is a construction site, they damaged so many things in our home; just the worst experience we have had with contractor! read more

We recently purchased beautiful ceramic tile (that looks like wood) from Eberhard Carpet One. They were so pleasant and helpful when we were looking at options and went the extra mile to get the tile we wanted as the color we selected had been discontinued. We did the install ourselves, however when I went back to get some needed products to finish the job and ensure the proper maintenance, again I was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtful they were in asking how we liked the tile and how the install went. Ellen also provided some very cost-effective options and didn't try to sell more than we needed. We look forward to doing future business with Eberhard again - maybe sooner rather than later, but don't tell my husband....... read more

Everything was fabulous from the start. Chris came to do our estimate and gave us a few good ideas for matching our older hardwood flooring that we were trying to match. We liked his experience. He spent 4 days in my house installing hardwood flooring in 3 rooms. He and his helper (sorry I forgot his name) were the most professional contractors I have ever had working for us. They were on time everyday, were professional and courteous, non-smoking (which is a huge plus and my daughter and I have severe allergies), addressed every concern, discussed ways to fix issues we didn't even know we had. I never give 5 stars, but these people are exceptional! read more

Absolutely charming family, but beware of the installers they hire. The job is only as good as the installation. The crew they sent to install my wood floor consisted of one experienced person, Mike, and his apprentice who had 3 months experience. They left numerous nicks and chips in the floor; and when I asked to have them repaired one of the owners, Billy, as much as told me that he would replace board only as a last resort. Not only that, months later Billy was bad-mouthing me to another contractor (who told me what Billy said). I consider that extremely unprofessional. So just make sure you are completely satisfied you know who the installers will be. Even get references on them if you have to. Trust me, Eberhard won't even want to give you their names first. Try Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring instead. They were the best. read more

I purchased flooring from Eberhard in mid-March with a delivery date of April 7th and the flooring is still not here. The installer today told me that it would be another 10 days before the floor is delivered. My wife and I are in the process of designing a new home and wanted to look at the latest in hardwood flooring and tile, so dropped in to Eberhard. We had used them a few times in the past with our current home and had been extremely pleased at the knowledgeable and friendly service and this trip was no exception. Ellen greeted us and remembered everything about our house (good luck with that at a box store) and spent well over an hour educating us on the latest options available to us and was very helpful in helping us understand how we could maximize the budget as we work through our project. She also recommended some homes to look at where recent work had been done to see some of the products actually installed. Excellent company! I was redoing my kitchen and Ellen helped me coordinate everything. It turned out to be such a "happy room", everything I wanted but didn't know how to get. They knew exactly how to get me there. They have also help me put flooring in my basement and my bathroom. They helped me purchase products with my budget in mind. When my daughter needed her kitchen and hall flooring done, back to Eberhart flooring we went. Not only do they offer excellent products their installers were professional and courteous! 3 years ago, Eberhard installed our engineered wood floors directly onto a cement slab without any type of moisture barrier, hence the wood began to rot and warped within a year and got worse over time. Eberhard sent me on a wild goose chase for 6 months where they denied it was their fault and told me to get plumbers (i got 4 opinions- if we had a leak I wanted to fix it, we don't have a leak), contacted masons, my insurance company, and eventually Eberhard asked me to pay for a wood inspector, which at that point I refused. Finally we paid a for a new flooring person to come in and to open our floor and confirmed what I had been told by another plumber and contractor that it was faulty installation and we would have to replace the entire floor. I will now pay another floor person to do this as I would not accept any work from Eberhard ever again. Eberhard denied the problem, sent odd letters, were unwilling to look at the evidence and appear to be only concerned about avoiding litigation- and familiar with the risks of their actions. My only concern is keeping other honest consumers like myself away from this business. Go elsewhere!! read more
