Great lunch service. This place breaks the monotony of American food in the Texas town of Seguin. Their bentos were plentiful. We had their bento A and B. 4 stars for consistency with Japanese food. If you want something other than American food, this place will break the norm I. Seguin, Texas.

This is definitely my favorite sushi spot in Seguin. It's small, right in front of the square. Parking is easy. The sushi is always really good and my favorite sake drink is the Fiji apple. Service here is great and fast. A great place to come socialize and have a good conversation since there is usually no music and it's not a super noisy environment.

I saw all of the good reviews about this place so I decided to try it for lunch. This restaurant is small and looks like a converted diner. The server was very attentive and I didn't have to wait long. The food was okay. I ordered the 3 roll lunch. It came with onion soup which was basically salty beef broth with a mushroom and a few little onions. The rolls were good. They were nice size for a lunch special.

Hubby went to buy a boat. He's been talking about this place for months. So next trip here was to buy a jeep. . We came here for lunch. It was VERY good! Extremely fresh! Hubby got the Shaggy Dog, it was as expected. I would have liked a tad more sauce but it was delicious and so fresh!! I got the cowboy, I like spicy and I have to say the only thing spicy was the jalapeño on top. I took it off because the jalapeño flavor overwhelmed it, I preferred the wasabi. It was really good but I'm not sure it was my favorite although it was fresh and very good. It just wasn't as tuna forward as I like. Service was excellent! Hubby loved the steak, I thought it was tough but that is just a personal preference on the cut of meat. We will stop here every time we pass thru Seguin, or even near it.

We were driving around downtown Seguin when we spotted this little sushi spot. I'm so glad we did. It's a seat yourself restaurant but you'd never know. We had barely sat down & Mel was right next to us handing us menus & getting our drink order. She warned us that there would be a bit of a wait for sushi bc a big order at another table (& a boat) had just been ordered. We appreciated the heads up & were fine w waiting. It was nice to not be in a hurry. She was an excellent & kind server. Definitely 5 stars for her! To start, we ordered crab Rangoons bc they are a weakness of mine. They were good but needed a little something to add more flavor. The wrapper & cream cheese was just very basic but on the bright side, they were served hot & fresh. The onion soup was tasty. The Seguin roll & the Ebi-Ebi rolls were both excellent! All of the flavors just blended together perfectly. Crab, shrimp, avocado & cream cheese..... where could you go wrong? I was a little disappointed to see that the prices on the menu weren't actually accurate. On my receipt, each item was a little bit higher than marked on the menu. It's not a huge deal to me but what if a couple of dollars difference is an issue for someone else that is dining? If I go to Macys to buy a sweater & it's marked $50 plus tax, I don't want to be charged $55 plus tax. Don't let that stop you from trying this great restaurant though. The sushi is great & the restaurant is right in the middle of the downtown square. You can people watch while you eat!

I went here the other day with my fiance, we never been here before but I've herd lots of good things, so I decided to go. OMG it was a chill calm environment, was seated really quickly. Our waitress was a bit slower at attending to us, she didn't really check on us for refills or if we need anything. But food wise OMG it was so freakin good. Lots of flavor and I'd recommend this place, and we'd definitely be going again. All in all I was satisfied.

Found this place on Yelp while I was in town running some errands. Glad I did, I got the gecko roll and it was delicious. Presentation on the dish was beautiful tasted even better. Price was decent, service was fast and friendly, and environment was pretty chill.

I had a party of 16 who went in to celebrate birthdays and the entire staff was so accommodating and made our night. They were friendly and made it a way more special evening than we could have even asked for. The food was amazing and Mel was so patient with everyone ordering and splitting bills, etc. We so appreciate that they let us take up most of their restaurant for the end of the night and that they were so excited with us. I wanted to try this place out for a while since reading great reviews. Since we were in town it was a good opportunity Instead of going to Sakura Steakhouse and Steakhouse where we have gone to several times. We arrived late afternoon so the lunch specials just ended (3PM) - I so much wanted the Bento Box with Hamachi. Oh well, we ordered off the dinner menu. Wife had the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp, and I had the Hibachi Chicken. Meal comes with either Soup or salad, we both ordered the salad. Salad dressing watery, not flavorful. Now down to the dinner. Great portions, and presentation. And thats where it ends. Both meals were definitely on the "very-salty" side. Service was very good. But will try other Japaneese restaurants when we are back in the area. read more

Stopped by this place earlier in the week for a quick bite and go. This place was absolutely amazing and definitely a great hole in a wall. The server was very nice and the food was absolutely amazing! Even sharing the hibachi chicken with my grandmother and having their Seguin roll was still plenty of food. The pictures do these rolls of art no justice!! The flavor of each were sooo unique and unlike anything I have ever had! The cowboy roll was like a sushi barbecue in my mouth, sooo good! I had only had the hibachi until today. I ordered the Philadelphia and Spicy tuna and both were great. Perfect size and still filling. The spicy tuna is quite spicy but flavorful. The presentation even togo was excellent and enjoyed my meal at home. read more

You Ebi Ebi guys knock it out of the park! Bento boxes are amazing, large portions. Sushi is fresh and fun. Lots of different combo's. We come here almost weekly. Crew is very kind and fun. Atmosphere is very nice, nothing fancy. Try the desserts, lots of fun flavors. read more

Omg this place! The hibachi is bomb. For a place that doesn't have the grill and show for hibachi the food is so good. Sushi is great. I like soy paper and they accommodate that request. Don't miss if you are in the area. read more

This is some of the freshest and most delicious sushi. Their California roll, shrimp tempura roll and Philadelphia roll are my favorite for those that don't like raw sushi these are cooked and the bomb!! Their clear onion soup is delicious as well. This is truly a hidden gem. Their prices are much more affordable then other places here in town. Also their seaweed salad is amazing. Just love this place and glad I found it!! read more

Food : great taste but not worth70 bucks Service : i was almost done and needed more tea , not only did she not xome to chexk on us but made sure she payed attention to the drinking table. 20 min after we finished our plates stacked and thirsty but ready to go . Waitress walks up and asked would u like tea to go ? We payed and she actually made a comment about not getting a tip. heres a tip : i had to stop at the gas station after this 1rst time experience to get something to drink . Delicious! Seguin needed this restaurant. Teriyaki chicken and fried rice were so yummy! The sushi is delicious and beautiful too! Everything was served hot and fresh. Waitstaff was very friendly and the menu offers something for everyone! Definitely recommend! read more

This place just opened within the last few months and I'm excited to see them flourish. It will be my new sushi place, now with three sushi restaurants in Seguin, they are clean, offer things the others don't (Conch) and are quick to respond through messenger or phone. It is a new business and they are fresh and accommodating. The hand rolls have full pieces of sushimi, not chopped up , over sauced old sushi. We eat at Yellowfish, and Uchi and we travel weekly for good sushi. We had an order for takeout and I was excited to see that each roll came well dressed and with ample fish. We order hand rolls, rainbow rolls, boats, Seguin Roll, oyster roll, spider roll, and tempura (to name a few offerings, we have tried more) The boat is amazing! We really enjoy this place and will make this a weekly staple. More restaurants need to move into Seguin with this caliber product. With all the new people coming in, I'm sure Ebi Ebi will be the place to eat sushi! read more

This place took an hour and a half to get me my food, the were very unprepared and unprofessional. I would love to say this place could get a 1 star but they had a lack of respect and they also had a lack of preparation which was an hour after I ordered I was the last person at my table of 4 without my food. I read and watched the reviews on EbiEbi and was excited about this "new" place and am sad to report I was very disappointed. Food was just ok, p but the atmosphere (run down, almost dirty) and service needs a lot of work. We sat down and there was only 1 other person seated at a table and one couple at the sushi bar...clearly friends of the staff. Lots of loud talk with all employees hovered around them. They had a waitress cleaning a table. She made eye contact but proceeded to wipe the table down and then disappeared. After about 10 mins, the owner came and asked what we wanted to drink...and I proceeded to order our meals and drinks at once since we had already made up our minds and been there for several mins. Food came out rather quickly and tasted good, but not once did anyone come back to check on us, offer refills, etc. I had to get up and go ask for silverware, napkins and then again for sauce that should've come with my meal. read more
