Stopped by this place earlier in the week for a quick bite and go. This place was absolutely amazing and definitely a great hole in a wall. I wanted to try this place out for a while since reading great reviews. Since we were in town it was a good opportunity Instead of going to Sakura Steakhouse and Steakhouse where we have gone to several times. We arrived late afternoon so the lunch specials just ended (3PM) - I so much wanted the Bento Box with Hamachi. Oh well, we ordered off the dinner menu. Wife had the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp, and I had the Hibachi Chicken. Meal comes with either Soup or salad, we both ordered the salad. Salad dressing watery, not flavorful. Now down to the dinner. Great portions, and presentation. And thats where it ends. Both meals were definitely on the "very-salty" side. Service was very good. I had only had the hibachi until today. I ordered the Philadelphia and Spicy tuna and both were great. Perfect size and still filling. The spicy tuna is quite spicy but flavorful. The presentation even togo was excellent and enjoyed my meal at home. read more

This is some of the freshest and most delicious sushi. Their California roll, shrimp tempura roll and Philadelphia roll are my favorite for those that don't like raw sushi these are cooked and the bomb!! Their clear onion soup is delicious as well. This place just opened within the last few months and I'm excited to see them flourish. It will be my new sushi place, now with three sushi restaurants in Seguin, they are clean, offer things the others don't (Conch) and are quick to respond through messenger or phone. It is a new business and they are fresh and accommodating. The hand rolls have full pieces of sushimi, not chopped up , over sauced old sushi. We eat at Yellowfish, and Uchi and we travel weekly for good sushi. We had an order for takeout and I was excited to see that each roll came well dressed and with ample fish. We order hand rolls, rainbow rolls, boats, Seguin Roll, oyster roll, spider roll, and tempura (to name a few offerings, we have tried more) The boat is amazing! We really enjoy this place and will make this a weekly staple. More restaurants need to move into Seguin with this caliber product. With all the new people coming in, I'm sure Ebi Ebi will be the place to eat sushi! read more

I read and watched the reviews on EbiEbi and was excited about this "new" place and am sad to report I was very disappointed. Food was just ok, p but the atmosphere (run down, almost dirty) and service needs a lot of work. We sat down and there was only 1 other person seated at a table and one couple at the sushi bar...clearly friends of the staff. Lots of loud talk with all employees hovered around them. They had a waitress cleaning a table. She made eye contact but proceeded to wipe the table down and then disappeared. After about 10 mins, the owner came and asked what we wanted to drink...and I proceeded to order our meals and drinks at once since we had already made up our minds and been there for several mins. Food came out rather quickly and tasted good, but not once did anyone come back to check on us, offer refills, etc. I had to get up and go ask for silverware, napkins and then again for sauce that should've come with my meal. read more
