AWESOME Massaman Curry w/ beef and brown rice. Sweet coconut flavor w/ potatoes & onions.
    Robert M.

Every once in a while I wish I could give a place six stars. This is that place! Came here on a pleasant day and sat outside. Walk in, and a waiter will follow you to a your pick table. The seating inside is TINY so make sure it's a nice day so you can eat outside. Today was AWESOME. How often do you get to eat outside in NewB when it's a little above 70? I went all in and stuffed myself. And I say that willingly and gladly. I saw on the menu board they were having an appetizer special that I certainly couldn't resist: soft shelled crabs! For that, I get weak in the knees. So I ordered my own appetizer to split with no one but myself. I was in heaven. Hog heaven. Yeah, I was being a pig. Oink, oink I'm happy as a pig in ....! It tasted superb. I wasn't expecting much and it hit it out of the park. There were also two Thai "dipping" sauces. I tried both and loved both. I can't begin to describe them other than good & tasty. I followed that up with a Massaman Curry. I can never pass it up on a menu and it never disappoints. The only thing is that I think EVERY restaurant interprets it differently and not even closely the same. The menu said it was Massaman Curry with brisket so I laughed when the waiter asked me what protein. Brisket? I don't think he read the menu or understood so I said beef. Boy it was GOOD. This version was a sweet coconut curry with a slight amount of heat and very temp hot. I loved it with brown rice. Waiter was great. Plenty of pleasant outside seating. Crazy good food. I'm now hooked. I need to troll thru the menu more and avoid having my own App!

Lunch was great! The only thing that was a bit of a letdown was that they ran out of ice for our tea. Luckily, it wasn't too hot outside. The miso soup had tofu in it, and the soft shell crab was the highlight--it was absolutely delicious! The entree was a big portion, and I couldn't quite finish it all. The service was good.

Chicken Pad thai. Very little chicken.

I'm not sure about how the protein portions for entrees are in restaurant, but we ordered from Uber eats and the protein portions for our entrees were nonexistent. Shrimp pad see ew had 4 total shrimp in the box. Shrimp fried rice had 4 total shrimp in the box. Chicken Pad thai barely had any chicken. We had to dig through the noodles just to find a few small pieces. I was only able to get a pic of the pad thai due to my parents fixing their plates before I realized what had happened. Very disappointed. Especially for how much we paid per entree.

Honestly would not come back but it was worth the try. Service was definitely nice! It's their second day opened and they were running out of ice so they kept telling us they were low on it BUT they did everything to give us ice which I REALLY appreciate it because we sat outside and it was kind of hot. I had the pineapple fried rice HOT. (Goes from not spicy, medium spicy, Hot, extra hot) and it was not spicy at all!!! I was so bummed out. What I did is asked for spicy chili flakes and put it on it and it really added flavor to it because w out it it was not flavorful:( The portion was good & I traded my shrimp for chicken and it had a good portion of chicken. Overall the place is kind of small but it's cute. The parking is around the streets etc and the outside tables are cute. I love outside sittings so this was great!

I heard about this place and since I craving Thai food I went to Thai Isan House. As you enter you are feeling as if you're in someone's home. They promptly seat you down in the next available room or if the weather is enjoyable there is plenty seating outside. The staff are great, kindly bringing the drinks and the food promptly. Now the food, started the meal with the Brisket Egg-rolls, they were delicious and well cooked, the Crab Rangoons had a wonderful flavor. The main dish that I selected was the General Tao's Chicken, it had a good texture and a great taste the sauce and the flavors were just right. If you're craving Thai I highly recommend this place.

My friends and I had been craving Thai food and heard good reviews on this place. We decided to go for dinner on a Friday night, there was no wait and we were seated right away. Our waitress was super sweet and patient while we waited for our whole party to arrive. We're pretty familiar with Thai dishes so we each ordered something we knew we liked and the dishes did not disappoint! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The portions are also pretty big so we each left with a to go box for the next day. We'll definitely be back!

    Pad Woon Sen

We ordered the Pad Woo Sen and the veggie egg rolls. Both are amazing, portion sizes were huge. Will be going here again in person next time to take in the cool house they converted to a restaurant

This place is great!! The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the patio with picnic benches provided perfect seating for large groups and pets. I ordered the pumpkin curry with chicken and sticky rice and it was fantastic!! I will definitely return with friends to try other dishes on the menu. So many great options to pick from!!

They name everything weird, off the Thai standards, so if you order pineapple fried rice, you actually get "stir fried pineapple, with rice" and "pad kee mao", an extremely common noodle dish, arrives as "kee mao," a rice dish. They make no effort to try to clarify, understand, or making things rice. And the food is fine and overpriced. There are way better thai places in town, with far better service. Go there, please. If you're going to charge $20 for a rice dish, at least try to get it right and stand by your product.

We ordered the chicken satay and larb (laab). The "chicken satay" was simply a whole chicken breast served with a coconut sauce. Calling it Thai chicken satay is honestly embarrassing. Authentic Thai chicken satay is marinated in coconut milk, curry powder or yellow curry paste, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garlic, fish sauce, and palm sugar. It develops its signature yellow color and sweet-savory flavor before being grilled on skewers. Please look at the picture and judge for yourself. The larb was also disappointing. It was so sweet it tasted more like a dessert than larb. Authentic larb should be: * Tangy from lime juice * Savory from fish sauce * Fresh from herbs * Spicy from chilies * Slightly nutty from toasted rice powder Instead, it lacked the bright, bold flavors that make larb one of Thailand's most famous dishes. It was disappointing to see two simple and well-known Thai dishes prepared so far from their authentic flavors. I understand that restaurants sometimes adapt recipes to local tastes, but when a restaurant advertises itself as Thai, I expect dishes that at least resemble the flavors and preparation of traditional Thai food.

My mom came to visit for a few hours (it's about an hour drive between our homes) so after being here after a bit she was a bit hungry. She wanted Vietnamese food but I didn't know a place. We couldn't settle on a place through searching but I remembered a place that I pass often and have a bit of curiosity about. After searching, turns out it was a Thai/Chinese food place. She agreed and we went. Walking in there was a sign stating the need for servers (keep that in mind). The decor was what you'd expect from an old school mom and pops place. It was small and homey. The place was busy. There was a large party, a smaller party, a couple at the ordering counter and some stragglers coming in and out. For everyone there was only one server. The couple in front of us ordered then the server left to try to balance between the service counter and the tables. She came back but rather quickly but we told her we would take a minute. The menu here is rather large. When she came back, my mom attempted to explain she was looking for something similar to a Vietnamese vermicelli dish, the server just said "this is a Thai place". Well duh ma'am but we're asking for recommendations. I chalk it up to how busy the place was and maybe she was frazzed...still tho :/ But we moved on. My mom ordered a curry plate with pork (comes with rice) and an order of egg rolls and I got drunken noodles. Being that there were so many people, she said it would take around 20 minutes. We decided to wait and it did take around that amount of time. The food did come out hot though. I only live about 9 minutes away so getting home it was still hot. That's the only positive about the food. Opening the container for my noodles I noticed the noodles were in huge sticky clumps. I make a lot of Asian cuisine and that tells me the cooking method wasn't performed properly. From soaking the rice noodles long enough to making sure the wok was hot enough to cook the noodles without allowing them to time to stick. Something was missed. My mom noticed there wasn't a lot of meat in her curry and that the meat that was there wasn't pork but chicken. I looked and noticed the same. But upon tasting not having a lot of meat was a blessing. Turns out it WAS pork. It was cut into very small slivers and so incredibly dry that it lost all pork like characteristics and become some unidentifiable meat like ingredient. It was so bad my mom just took the pieces out and poured the soup of the curry over the rice. Neither of us finished the food. It was so disappointingly unappetizing after a few bites we just left it sitting. We both agreed it wasn't worth the almost $40. I apologized to her for recommending the place and for her spending her money. Needless to say I won't be back here. I hate to be so harsh to a local business so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1; but this place is bad.
