No, Asher asked if she was a local student, because local students get a discount. He also insisted last year's model would be cheaper and just as beneficial. I have been a true customer as I usually go here to purchase all my shoes. Recently that has changed. Thanks to the employee named I believed was named Laurie. From the moment I walked in, I could feel her watching me. Not in a helpful, friendly way. She was clearly profiling me. Then, without any cause or reason, she had the audacity to look in my bag because she thought I was stealing??? I was doing nothing wrong, or even thinking about it. I was just shopping like everyone else. Her actions were not only completely UNPROFESSIONAL, but also clearly racist. It's disgusting and unacceptable to be treated like a criminal based on my appearance. Shame on Famous Footwear for employing someone like this, I can say that the rest of the employees were actually nice.
