I was driving the other day and heard an ad on the radio that Bob's had a post Christmas sale. The ad said coupons were available online, in the paper, or in-store. I get there and pick up a Welker shirt and asked the cashier, who was also the manager, for a coupon. She had no idea what I was talking about. I explained the ad and she still didn't know about it. Then an employee overheard the conversation and said that she heard the same ad. I was very reluctantly given the discount. I then wrote an email to the company regarding the ad and that the communication to the locations needs improvement. I told them I was literally here 10 minutes ago and spoke to you. They told me to call customer service because there was nothing they could do and they apologized for not sending the email. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. It's hard to explain the frustration of turning around to exchange an item and receiving no help from staff and management when the mistake was their own fault. They said they were sorry for not sending the receipt, but there was nothing to be done. What kind of business runs things this way? They made no attempt to rectify the situation.
