I had scheduled three AC companies to come out in one day for quotes, EC was the last one. Unbeknownst to me, Eduardo and his team member waited for 45 minutes because they didn't want to intrude on a tech from one of the other companies that had stayed past his time slot. When he did finally introduce himself, he immediately took action and assessed my situation. He saw I had a baby and a young son sweltering in the Fl heat, he began by putting freon in my leaking unit so my kids would be comfortable, and I could decide on which company to choose from. NONE of the other companies cared a fig that I had young children sweating without AC, in fact, they were going to charge me upwards of $400 for freon. Thank you Eduardo and team, you are truly class acts! I have decided to go with EC for my new AC install, I will write another review when it is completed. Update- EC Air Pro has now finished my new ac install, they were efficient and thorough. Eduardo and George (I think it's George he didn't talk much) don't waste any time! They got straight to work and even gave me tips on how to save on future costs with some DIY ingenuity. There were no surprises in the pricing, they stuck to the quoted price. They also have NO SALESPEOPLE!!!! Which makes the ac buying experience a heck of a lot less stressful. I needed a new AC unit and all new ductwork. I began my search and found four different companies. EC Air Pro was the second company to come out. Eddie explained everything to me and let me know exactly what he would be doing. Most importantly, he took the time to answer all my questions. I then called the other two companies and canceled my appointments. On the second day, two of his employees came. They were very professional, friendly, and respectful. The next day Eddie and a different employee came; both were very professional, friendly, and respectful. Eddie explained to me that this job would require two days. I have to say that the entire time with Eddie and his staff was delightful; it was like you had family over visiting. I also need to mention that they all wore a mask and shoe coverings. Once completed, Eddie walked me to every AC vent and had me feel the airflow. I thought that was amazing; who takes the time to do that? Let me not forget about Celinda, very friendly and professional. It is always a pleasure speaking with her; she takes care of business and does not waste time. The young lady that came to get signatures was friendly and polite as well. The next day, Eddie called me to see how everything was; Celinda also asked me. I first want to preface this review with the fact I am, and have been for years in the air conditioning industry. With that being said, my wants and expectations when it came to my own A/C unit project being broke ground upon, were definitely more stringent than most. My home was a typical cookie cutter builder grade home with an undersized duct system, inefficient stamped grills, and the cheapest A/C unit the builder could get his hands on. I wanted a complete renovation. As I said, my expectations coming from the industry were much higher than most, and I just have to tell you Eddie surpassed my expectations to the point I was not just impressed, I was amazed! The project was art work! My electric bill went down by 60%, my indoor air quality is amazing, and my humidity levels are finally able to be kept in check! The installation was smooth and fast. Housekeeping was performed daily like they were not even there. After trying a few temporary fixes, the AC unit needed to be replaced.
