As an er technician, I was appalled that she was so dismissive of a clearly unresponsive pet, when it should have been called as a stat. While we knew the cats heart had stopped, she didn't know that until after her phone conversation. I am disappointed that this was not approached in a faster more urgent manner.

We thought the initial (almost $600) visit was handled correctly: we got a health certificate, and they provided a written prescription for Clavamox, advising us to wait for lab confirmation before administering the medication. We got a call to start the 14-day course of medication, which we had filled at a separate dispensary before leaving the United States. Unfortunately, we later discovered Pinehurst *only prescribed HALF the required course of antibiotics!!!* We are now stuck in Whitehorse, Canada, having to postpone a long driving day to Tok, Alaska, to coordinate with a local veterinarian that was willing to provide us with the remainder of the medication we should've been prescribed by Pinehurst. We just needed Pinehurst to email the details and confirm the Canadian clinic had everything they needed to dispense the medication. Unfortunately, when Pinehurst initially emailed the Canadian clinic, they DIDN'T include the prescription details. Pinehurst also told us their clinic's telephone system would not allow them to make an international telephone call to the clinic in Whitehorse, leaving us responsible for correcting another problem Pinehurst created. Given the urgency of the issue and their responsibility for this entire situation, why wasn't someone willing to use their personal phone to make the call? The repeated lack of basic follow-through caused significant stress and disruption to our travel with a sick cat. Would not recommend if you need reliable care or cross-border support.

He's friendly, but always sooooo scared in social setting, especially at the vet. Timber Ridge is always so patient with him and they never make me feel bad about his social anxiety (something I've experienced at other vet clinics). On to my experience yesterday, I brought in my pup for an urgent care visit for a skin condition. I dropped him off and went home. After dinner, I looked at the clock and it was nearing closing time. I called and found out they had a vet emergency and it pushed everyone's appointment back. It was a Friday night, I'm sure the staff all had other places they would rather be, but they stayed open late, took care of the emergency, and all the pets under their care. That being said, I think we have to address what happened here with our now passed dog. Benji was ONLY 6 YEARS OLD. We took him here to have a minor surgery for a small wound from playing too hard in the yard with his brother. We were told his vitals were fine, and his surgery went well. As well as him being a very healthy boy. His wound healed very well, but he was so so sick afterwards, very quickly. We took him back 3 more times that WEEK! Telling them he was not eating, drinking, and having horrible bowel movements. Because of his anxious temperament, they just gave him anti diarrheal meds and shots. Of course, we trusted their instincts. The 3rd time (day 7/8 after surgery) we took him back, and they FINALLY did blood work and told us he had a 10% chance because of acute kidney disease, and sent us to Old Growth ER . We have talked to many, and I mean MANY people in the industry, including Old Growth ER where we had to heartbreakingly put him down the next morning. Old Growth vet team told us this was the worst case of kidney failure they have EVER seen. We requested ALL records, and believe he was extremely neglected. Our dog was so healthy, he was so full of life. Courtney, the Vet said it herself. As you can imagine, it has been so hard to understand. When we called to get some closure, they told us "sometimes, these things happen" I would give 0 stars if I could. We are still so heart broken, he passed away in May 2026.
