The receptionist watched us walk in and finished her phone conversation about an estimate and existing client (honestly probably 2 minutes) before asking us what she could help us with. As an er technician, I was appalled that she was so dismissive of a clearly unresponsive pet, when it should have been called as a stat. While we knew the cats heart had stopped, she didn't know that until after her phone conversation. I am disappointed that this was not approached in a faster more urgent manner.

We thought the initial (almost $600) visit was handled correctly: we got a health certificate, and they provided a written prescription for Clavamox, advising us to wait for lab confirmation before administering the medication. We got a call to start the 14-day course of medication, which we had filled at a separate dispensary before leaving the United States. Unfortunately, we later discovered Pinehurst *only prescribed HALF the required course of antibiotics!!!* We are now stuck in Whitehorse, Canada, having to postpone a long driving day to Tok, Alaska, to coordinate with a local veterinarian that was willing to provide us with the remainder of the medication we should've been prescribed by Pinehurst. We just needed Pinehurst to email the details and confirm the Canadian clinic had everything they needed to dispense the medication. Unfortunately, when Pinehurst initially emailed the Canadian clinic, they DIDN'T include the prescription details. Pinehurst also told us their clinic's telephone system would not allow them to make an international telephone call to the clinic in Whitehorse, leaving us responsible for correcting another problem Pinehurst created. Given the urgency of the issue and their responsibility for this entire situation, why wasn't someone willing to use their personal phone to make the call? The repeated lack of basic follow-through caused significant stress and disruption to our travel with a sick cat. Would not recommend if you need reliable care or cross-border support.

Next today my other boy got attacked by a rouge off leash dog ripped his front tooth out and left a big ol puncture in the roof of his mouth and they got him in and taken care of better then I ever could have imagined! I live in Nevada and come up every so often to visit my family and I am about to 100% commit to having all of my animals (4 dogs and 2 cats) seen here and make the trek up because they know what to do and handle everything.
