But they had the product I wanted, so I didn't listen to my instincts. I used the product I purchased twice and a spring broke inside of the battery, rendering it useless. When I went to exchange the defective product (precisely one week after purchase), I was told that, "we can't exchange products because we don't know what people do with them after they take them out of the store." So, you won't handle a broken product for your customer, even though you can send it back to the manufacturer as DOA and you're not out a dime. Well, you won't get another dime of mine, that's for sure. Stand behind the products you sell or get out of retail.

Please read, honest- kind review. Hoping the owner will see this and make some adjustments…read more First of all, driving into this place I immediately got a warm, inviting essence from it. The building is clean, well maintained, and they have gorgeous flowers in flower pots that greet you. Upon entering our room, it smelled fresh and clean, but not too sterile like a hospital. The room was spacious, ample walking room, didn't feel stuffy. It was nice & cool- it was 98 degrees, but the room was chilled and crisp, so refreshing. The appliances were well maintained, clean and not bottom of the line, very nice. The bathroom was large- I would even say large enough for a small wheelchair to turn around in. The shower was clean, and spacious! Perfect for a couple to enjoy together - or someone who is larger who needs more space. The bedding was a little slim, could have used another layer of bedding- even folded up for another layer. The bed was soft, but not too soft, bouncy and comfortable.... But whatever they have under the end is annoying... anytime your foot hits it, it sounds like a gong is going off ( little triggering for PTSD)... the fridge/freezer was perfect! The freezer was a workhorse & kept our ice cream cold as ice! Now, for the things I feel need attention... First of all, customer service. My husband and I felt an immediate air of judgement from the owner for some reason. He pressed my husband multiple times about how many people would be staying in our room, and he told him 3 times, just me and my wife- but we brushed that off. Well, later that evening I started my period & I needed some extra towels because I take two showers a day when on my menses. When my hubby went to fetch them, the owner judgingly scoffed it seemed that we already needed more towels ( the room only has two adult sized towels for bathing) it seemed like a major annoyance or inconvenience that we wanted a couple more towels for our 3 day stay... also- they do require a 100$ deposit on the room in case of anything being damaged... ( we used to do professional cleaning in air bnb so we get it...) anyways.... Later that night, I had so much anxiety about upsetting the owner if I happened to leak on the bedding on accident at night, that my husband and I walked to target and bought a whole ass brand new blanket I could sleep on top of, just to protect his bedding and the bed. Saying all of that, this could in part be due to language barrier, and different understanding of cultural norms, and we just did our best to do what was right by them- and have a good time. I don't think the owner is a bad person, nor do we want them to feel bad, we just hope they understand that these things are part of renting rooms & to chill out a bit. ( Also, for my smokers out there, you have to walk to the sidewalk to smoke - which is not far, and not a problem ) Overall, the value was great. I will be staying here again, and hope the owner is a little more flexible and kind. The price is amazing for what you get, and it's quiet and lovely. I'm very grateful for a great weekend, in a lovely little cottage like room! ( one more thing, you only get two of literally everything for your stay. Two big towels, two spoons, two forks, two cups, two coffees lol... we just made due to avoid asking for more ) God bless & thank you!
