I just received the "Shiny Magic Perm" and it is insane. I have very fine curly hair to start with and it drives me crazy on rainy days. Got this perm today and loving it. I didn't realize how bad my hair looked until I took a closer look. I'm blown away by the stellar service and craft. I took my mom there for the first time. She was reluctant as the person who's been cutting her hair for almost 2 decades has retired. She doesn't speak Korean and was hesitant on her expectations being delivered. Upon walking in, we were warmly greeted by Jean, he was so kind to us and we were serviced right away. It's been one year since I had a haircut. I had grew out my long locks to the waistline for my wedding hairstyle. In addition, I had a balayage done at another salon that left my hair damaged. I called the salon and they were able to take me the same day. Upon arriving, I was greeted and was asked to put on a robe so they could start the process. I had my hair washed and it was so relaxing with the scalp massage. Then my hair was blow dried by an assistant as I waited for Mr. Jean to cut my hair. As soon as he started on my hair, I can see the amazing transformation of dull and lifeless to flowy with volume. He advised me to get my hair colored next time because it was turning brassy.
