Unprofessional Work, Visible Attachments, and Damaged Extensions…read more I came here for a hair extension installation and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The first installation was placed too high, not blended, not color matched, and the attachment points were clearly visible. I returned for a correction, but the issues were still not fixed. I was then charged a second time for services that should have been included in the first appointment. She didn't do the work correctly the first time, and the second time the work was still only halfway done -- yet the charges were even higher. Not honest at all, and it felt like she cared more about charging the maximum price than about my hair. My hair could have been done within an hour to an hour and a half at most, but I was kept there for over three hours because the owner kept leaving to work on other clients while her assistant worked on me. She probably spent about an hour total on my hair, yet I was sitting there for more than three hours. It felt overbooked, rushed, and money‑driven, not professional. One of my bundles was cut down to about one‑third of its original size, and the removed hair was never mentioned or returned to me. Several beads were installed incorrectly, with the hair not looped fully through the bead, leaving the strands stuck and ripping when I tried to comb it. Even after two visits, the extensions were still not blended or cut properly, and the attachment points are still visible if you look closely. For the price I paid, this should never have happened. When I attempted to resolve the issue directly, the merchant offered only a $100 refund and stated that was the maximum she was willing to provide. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

She was originally only scheduled to do my hair for my wedding, but because I was having a small church ceremony, she was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I felt beautiful and confident. This waa my first time hiring a makeup artist. I personally dont wear makeup on a daily like i would like to mainly because of my acne problem. I had an event to go to on a saturday morning. Started searching on yelp and contacted a couple of artists prior to michelle, but never got a response. I messages michelle on yelp and got a response within the hour. She was able to get me in at 7am. On saturday morning i was running late by like half an hour past my appt time and michelle waited for me and still got both hair and makeup done by 8:30. Michelle did an absolute wonderful job and i highly recommend her for all your beauty needs. I will definitely be using her in my future endeavors. One last thing.. normally when i go into a salon, they always try to tell me about my acne. Like whats causing it and how to fix it and tries to sell me products and services that doesnt really fix anythinf. Michelle didnt and she respected the fact that i knew i had acne problems and that all i needed from her at that moment was her services to help cover them up. She was professional, friendly, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. For my makeup, she did an amazing job. It was natural but still glamorous, and it lasted all day without needing touch-ups. I also loved that it didn't feel heavy or cakey. I am writing this because I was very pleased with Michelle so I will share this story with you. Michelle did great job for my brother's wedding. My brother and bride came to LA from NYC for their wedding so they had no clue which makeup artist is good or not in LA. Luckily my wife found Michelle and since then everything went well. I had bridal hair and makeup, along with hair for six bridesmaids, makeup for four bridesmaids, and hair for our flower girl. Jois definitely knows how to make you feel the most beautiful girl on the biggest day of your life. She has her way with people which really helped with all the stress and tension that a wedding day normally brings to many. She only uses the best products for your face and her techniques on applying make up is just so perfect in a way that you can't even feel any weight of it at all. The best part of it is that it definitely lasts the whole day and night and they looked fantastic in photos.
