This review is for microblading. I have gotten tattooed in the past about 5+yrs ago but I needed a revamp on my brows. So when I saw on IG that Rose was doing microblading, I booked an appt right away. Rose was very professional, sent me a link to her website with which explained all the dos/don'ts and before/after care. On the day of the appt we had a consultation but since I have gotten makeup done by Rose in the past, I gave her full trust to determine shape, shade and width of the brows. But I liked how Rose was very technical and accurate with shaping the brows. The numbing process was quick and I did not experience any discomfort during the process. Rose's studio was clean, cozy and had a welcoming ambience. The process took about 2hrs since you have to wait for numbing and then the consultation to make sure you're completely satisfied before she begins the microblading. After you are done, Rose gave me a after care kit which I thought was very professional. After care was easy, and scabs started to come off after 10 days. I get compliments on my brows all the time and the microblading vs tattoo looks more natural since its strokes like hair vs fill-in tattooed. read more

Can I give 10 stars? Let me start my review by saying that I am not a celebrity and I'm not filthy rich...but I actually FLEW ROSE PARK FROM CALIFORNIA TO NEW YORK to do my wedding day make-up. I'm not a blogger/influencer/diva (my friends may argue on that last one), and I live in New York City - land of fashion/beauty - but I could not find a single make up artist that I felt could do a great job on Asian faces. I had the privilege of having my make-up done my Rose when I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friends' wedding in California a couple years prior and I remembered that day was the most beautiful I've ever felt. So, while it felt a little excessive to fly a make-up artist out (when I was penny-pinching on everything else wedding related), I'm so glad I did it and would do it all over again. It's SO difficult to find make-up artists who understand asian faces and what flatters our skintone, eyeshape, etc. I *WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND* Rose Park for asian faces. Once my appointment was set, Rose gave very detailed instructions to prep me for the procedure. The list is typical and you can find them on Google easily, but Rose took time to answer all my questions and calmed me because I was getting anxious. 1st session Rose knew exactly what I wanted for my brows so with my preference and her recommendation, we decided to go for that natural Korean-style eyebrows with natural arch. With multiple numbing sessions, microblading didn't hurt at all! I can feel the blade the whole time, but I was surprised how painless everything was. Healing process was smooth, even though avoiding water for 10 days wasn't easy. I didn't oxidize too much or scab either! 2nd session Rose went darker and more defined on my brows this time around. Even though she warned me that it might hurt just a tad bit more, I didn't feel anything and the shape turned out great. I highly recommend that you purchase the clear visors from Rose because that made showering a whole lot easier. It's been about 2.5 weeks since my 2nd session and my brows are looking crisp, oxidation that scared me for a while got light and I have brows when I wake up. I was to bring my make up, skin care products and Rose would do half my face. Then I would follow her demonstration and do the other half of my face. Another thing that really helped was seeing how to use all the different brushes to do eye make up and learning where things need to go make my eyes pop!
