I noticed she had availability later that same day, so I was able to schedule an appointment for 1:45 p.m. Even though I was worried I had waited too long to book and wasn't giving her much notice, she promptly confirmed my appointment and reassured me to still come in. From the moment I arrived, Robin was so warm, personable, and welcoming. As a mom, I especially appreciated that she was completely understanding about me bringing my 4 1/2-year-old with me. She even offered her a comfortable space to sit and wait while I had my hair done, which meant so much to me. Unprofessional Work, Visible Attachments, and Damaged Extensions…read more I came here for a hair extension installation and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The first installation was placed too high, not blended, not color matched, and the attachment points were clearly visible. I returned for a correction, but the issues were still not fixed. I was then charged a second time for services that should have been included in the first appointment. She didn't do the work correctly the first time, and the second time the work was still only halfway done -- yet the charges were even higher. Not honest at all, and it felt like she cared more about charging the maximum price than about my hair. My hair could have been done within an hour to an hour and a half at most, but I was kept there for over three hours because the owner kept leaving to work on other clients while her assistant worked on me. She probably spent about an hour total on my hair, yet I was sitting there for more than three hours. It felt overbooked, rushed, and money‑driven, not professional. One of my bundles was cut down to about one‑third of its original size, and the removed hair was never mentioned or returned to me. Several beads were installed incorrectly, with the hair not looped fully through the bead, leaving the strands stuck and ripping when I tried to comb it. Even after two visits, the extensions were still not blended or cut properly, and the attachment points are still visible if you look closely. For the price I paid, this should never have happened. When I attempted to resolve the issue directly, the merchant offered only a $100 refund and stated that was the maximum she was willing to provide. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

I had my wedding makeup and hair done at this place in March of this year, and I am still extremely upset about the experience. To this day, I haven't even been able to choose my wedding photos. Every time I receive edited photos, I feel angry and disappointed all over again. In every photo where my face appears, there is white glitter under my eyes that looks like little caterpillars, a chalky white face that does not match my neck, overly matte red lips that are cracked and dry, and blush that is clumped and in a color that doesn't suit me at all. Even today, after sending my photos to yet another photo editing company, I was so unhappy with the results that I felt compelled to finally write this review. Jessica insisted that glitter would make me look prettier, and when I pointed out that my face and neck were very different colors, she told me that airbrush makeup would fix it. Unfortunately, IT DID NOT. In every single photo, my face looks like a flat, white full moon. The hair was just as disappointing. All the waves completely fell out, making my hair look messy and unkempt. I clearly explained that this was an outdoor wedding and that my hair is very soft and does not hold waves well. Still, the pins she used started falling out before the ceremony was even over. By the time the veil came off and the reception started, my hair had no waves left at all and looked frizzy and undone. I had no choice but to go to the bathroom and tie my hair into a small bun myself. I specifically requested Jessica through a recommendation, and that turned out to be my biggest mistake. Ironically, my bridesmaids, who were done by a different artist, looked far better. Their hair and makeup stayed beautiful and intact until the very end of the wedding night. Because it was my wedding day, everyone told me I looked beautiful but I could see the truth in their expressions, and the photos confirm it clearly. This was the biggest and most important event of my year, and it feels completely ruined. This wasn't just a case of the artist and client "not being a good fit." The level of skill was simply unacceptable for a professional wedding service. I am still deeply hurt by this experience, and honestly, it's hard for me to feel happy even now when I think about it especially during what should be a joyful season. read more

I chose Must Makeup because they were reasonably close to my venue, had wonderful reviews, and their makeup style seemed like a great fit for what I was looking for. I personally prefer a lighter, more natural makeup look, so finding someone who could make me feel glamorous while still feeling like myself was really important to me. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately greeted and Jessica and Cindy got right to work on my hair and makeup. I had sent them inspiration photos beforehand, and they clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They barely needed to ask me any questions or go over anything with me, which admittedly made me a little nervous at first! But I very quickly realized I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I've had my hair and makeup professionally done many times over the years for weddings, anniversaries, and other special events, and I can genuinely say I have never been as impressed or loved the final result as much as I did with Jessica and Cindy. They absolutely nailed my inspiration. I felt so beautiful, but still completely like myself. What impressed me even more was how incredibly well everything lasted. My event was outdoors on a VERY hot day, and I spent a good portion of it standing in the blazing sun and sweating. Throughout the day, I kept asking my friends if I needed to touch up or fix my makeup, and every time they told me it still looked perfect. When I finally got home that night and looked in the mirror, I honestly couldn't believe how good it still looked -- it looked almost exactly the same as it had when they first finished it! My hair came out just as beautifully. I absolutely loved it, and it stayed completely intact throughout the entire event. I never had to worry about it coming loose or needing to fix anything. I was beyond impressed with Jessica and Cindy and the amount of talent these ladies have. They made me feel absolutely beautiful for such an important day, and I'm so grateful I chose them. I recently got my makeup done at this place, and I saw the bad review that was posted not long ago. It looks like she also put a lot of glitter under your eyes, just like she did on me. I really didn't like that at all. Actually, my friend had her wedding makeup done there, and she looked so beautiful that I decided to go based on her recommendation. But I guess I shouldn't have expected the same result. It seems like that makeup artist thinks a very pale face and heavy glitter under the eyes look good. Her name was Jessica. It was a very disappointing experience for me. So I asked my friend if the person who did her makeup was also Jessica. She told me that the artist who made her look so beautiful was Mina, and the hair was done by someone named Yoon Sun. I guess I should have checked that beforehand. I found her on Yelp after consulting several makeup artists in this area. She has such wonderful personality. She's professional, friendly, detail oriented, responsible and she makes me and my girl friends feel very comfortable. We have tried a couple of different looks, and she helped us to put the overall look and the wedding theme together. She shared her experience and gave us some ideas and recommendations based on what we are looking for. After the trial, she wrote down each product she has used and took pictures so she can memorize all the details and well prepared for the wedding day when is 2 months away. she spent most of her time on me to make sure everything was perfect. I felt very comfortable having her to take care of me and my bridesmaids make up and hair. I've never felt more beautiful. She did such a great job on one of my most important day in my life. We were all going for a natural glam style, and Meghan absolutely nailed the hairstyles, while her assistant, Kristen, did all of the makeup--including mine--and did a fantastic job. She has her way with people which really helped with all the stress and tension that a wedding day normally brings to many.
